Margaret "Peg" Martin
Mrs. Martin, 88, of Freehold died Oct. 17 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Perrineville, she was a homemaker who had lived in Freehold all her life. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, and a volunteer for Deborah Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry, in 2001. Surviving are two sons, Joseph and Douglas Martin of Freehold; three daughters, Mary Wetzel of Grapevine, Texas, Bernice Haselman of Atlanta, and Lorraine Thrasher of Huntsville, Ala.; two sisters, Rita Dore of Freehold and Jane Tablor of Windsor; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at St. Rose of Lima Church. Cremation was private, with Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, in charge of arrangements.
Arthur A. Kaminsky
Mr. Kaminsky, 82, of South River died Oct. 11 at home. Surviving are his wife, Gertrude Czechowicz Kaminsky; two daughters, Janice Kaminsky-Cordes of South River and Karen Fait of Riverside, Calif.; a son, Michael Kaminsky of the Perrineville section of Millstone; a sister, Nina Volgyi of South River; and four grandchildren. A service was held at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment
was in the church cemetery.
John W. Petrella Jr.
John W. Petrella Jr., 16, of the Perrineville section of Millstone, died Oct. 17. Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Perrineville all of his life and had attended Allentown High School. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, John Kohler. Surviving are his parents, Shirley and John Sr.; two sisters, Corinne Marie and Brittany Lynne, both at home; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Kohler of Elba, Ala.; his paternal grandparents, Joan and John Petrella of Baldwinsville, N.Y.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A funeral service was held at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to the John W. James J. Nolan
Mr. Nolan, 40, of South Plainfield, formerly of Old Bridge, died Oct. 8 in Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center, Plainfield. Surviving are his wife, Vera Nolan; two daughters, Devynn Nicole Nolan and Giovanna Marie Nolan, both at home; his parents, James T. and Joanne Sirois Nolan of Old Bridge; a sister, Mary Beth Edwards of Alpharetta, Ga.; and a brother, Patrick F. Nolan of Allentown. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Plainfield. Interment

Betty A. Dronne
Mrs. Dronne, 67, of Howell died Oct. 11 at home. A lifelong resident of the Freehold area, she was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, and a graduate of Freehold High School. Surviving are her husband, W. Russell Dronne; three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Russell and Bonny Dronne, Scott and Joy Dronne, and Todd Alan and Robin Dronne, all of Freehold; two daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie Ann and John Wood of Plano, Texas, and Leslie Helen and Paul Sanzone of Freehold; a sister, Mary Jane Stiles, also of Freehold; and seven grandchildren. A liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima , followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Higgins Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements. Alvin Green
Mr. Green, 72, of Manalapan died Oct. 4 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Manalapan, he was a lifelong resident. For many years he was a driver for Washington Forge in Englishtown. He is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Applegate of Freehold and Joyce Weber of Tyrone, Pa.; a nephew; a grandnephew; a grandniece; and two great-grandnephews. Funeral services were held at Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery
in Manalapan.
Justin Lowell Harris
Mr. Harris, 26, of Manalapan died Oct. 3 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had resided in Manalapan for 20 years and was an avid hockey and football fan. A 2000 graduate of William Paterson University, Wayne, he was a teacher at Long Branch High School. He is survived by his parents, Sandra and Jeffrey Harris of Manalapan; a sister, Melinda Harris of Bellmawr; and his maternal grandmother, Shirley Bauer Clearwater, Fla. A funeral service was held at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, followed by interment at Freehold Benefit Society Cemetery, Freehold.
Herbert L. White
Mr. White, 88, of Freehold died Oct. 17 at Monmouth Crossing, Freehold Township. Born in Freehold, he was a lifelong resident. From 1945 until his retirement in 1977, he was a machine operator at U.S. Naval Weapons Station Earle, Colts Neck. From 1935-45 he was employed as an office clerk for the A&M Karagheusian Rug Mill, Freehold. He had been a member of the First United Methodist Church, Freehold, since 1926 where he served as assistant head usher since 1950. He was a 1934 graduate of Freehold High School. In the early ’30s he was an assistant scoutmaster of Boy Scout Pack No. 83. He was predeceased by his father, Henry White, in 1949, and his mother, Hazel Anderson White, in 1994. Surviving are two aunts, Josephine Huber of Jackson and Leona Conover of Brick; and several cousins. Funeral services will be held Oct. 22 at the First United Methodist Church, 91 W. Main St., Freehold, with the Rev. Myrna Bethke officiating. Interment
will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.
Norma Sharp Becker
Mrs. Becker, 82, of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick died Oct. 4 at Rahway hospital. Born in Hackensack, she resided in Rossmoor and Spotswood prior to moving to Kendall Park. She was a retired executive secretary. She attended St. James Church, Jamesburg. She was predeceased by her husband, Chester Becker, in 1996. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Eleanor and Steve Raphel of Kendall Park, and Karen Peder of Jackson; her son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Joanne Becker of Florence; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. James Church. Burial was at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Arrangements were by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
