Mrs. Bradford, 43, of North Brunswick died Nov. 18 at Fort Wayne, Ind. Born in New Brunswick, she resided in North Brunswick and Franklin, Mass., prior to moving to Fort Wayne four years ago. She was group manager of the professional education department at DePuy Manufacturing Company, Warsaw, Ind., the past 23 years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, Fort Wayne. She was predeceased by a daughter, Kristen Vail Bradford. She is survived by her husband, Charles H. Bradford Jr. of Fort Wayne; two sons, Christopher Ian and Jonathan Cory, both at home; her daughter, Caroline Erika, at home; her parents, Erika M. Frommwald and John Mueller Jr. of North Brunswick; her brother, John W. Mueller of South Brunswick; and her maternal grandparents, Emma and Walter Meilinger of Forked River. A Mass of Christian Burial was at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. Burial was at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Patricia J. Mayo Troisi
Mrs. Troisi, 84, of Whitehouse Station died Dec. 5 at Central Jersey Jewish Home for the Aged, Somerset. Born in South Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in Brooklyn, and Bellmore, N.Y., prior to moving to Whitehouse Station in 1996. She was a communicant of St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church, Somerville. She was a member and past president of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, Cummings Brothers Post, Brooklyn. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Louis A. Troisi in 1996; three sisters; Genevieve Antonino, Gladys Montemarano and Betty Mayo; and three brothers, Michael Mayo, Joseph Mayo and Anthony Mayo. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ralph A. and Felicia A. Troisi of Middletown; three daughters and sons-in-law, Geraldine and Joseph Pastore of Clifton Park, N.Y., Marie and Michael Meriton of Westfield, and Lisa and Warren Stewart of Whitehouse Station; a sister, Anna Casano of Vero Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Johanna Maloney Fennell Cain
Mrs. Cain, 93, of Matawan died Dec. 16 at Bayshore Healthcare Center, Holmdel. Born in Bona Vista Bay, Newfoundland, Canada, she came to New York City and resided in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Matawan in 1977. Mrs. Cain was a homemaker. She was a former communicant of St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, Matawan. She was a member of the Leisure Timers, a charter member of Minnisink Village Senior Club, and a member of the Sunshine Girls, all at Minnisink Village, Matawan. She enjoyed time with her family, bingo, and crocheting. She was predeceased by a son, Donald Maloney, in 1966; a daughter, Rita Marney, in 1987; her first husband, Richard Maloney, in 1970; and her second husband, John Ralph Cain, in 1978. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Cathy Maloney of Brooklyn; four daughters, Marie McPartlin of Melbourne, Fla.; Irene McGrath of Red Bank; Diane Long of Aberdeen, Md.; and Janet Briggs of Freehold Township; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Jose Fennell of Bona Vista Bay, Newfoundland; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at the Church of St. Robert Bellarmine, Freehold Township. Interment

Mary N. DiLieto Cassa
Mrs. Cassa, 86, of Middletown died Dec. 16 at home. Born in New York City, she resided in Staten Island, N.Y., prior to moving to Middletown in 1982. Mrs. Cassa was a dietary technician at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Staten Island, retiring in 1970. She enjoyed time with her family. She was predeceased by a brother, Arthur DiLieto; three sisters, Madeline Gabriel, Nancy Castranova and Anna Quinn; and a son-in-law, James Gallagher. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph Cassa; a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Margaret Cassa of Palmyra, Va.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Adeline Gallagher of Holmdel, and Marylee and Michael Goldberg of West Deptford; a sister, Rosalie Coppolo; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Interment

Stephen L. Sullivan Jr.
Mr. Sullivan, 55, of Maplewood died Dec. 12. He was born in Red Bank and attended Middletown schools. Mr. Sullivan was a professional artist. He is survived by his mother, Doris Sullivan; two brothers, Wayne and Dennis Sullivan; a daughter, Jennifer Sullivan; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at The United Church of Christ, Holmdel. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
Mary Margaret Scotti
Ms. Scotti, 90, of Aberdeen died Dec. 13 at home. Born in New York City, she resided in Brooklyn, N.Y., prior to moving to Aberdeen 18 years ago. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, William and Marge Scotti of Toms River; her sister-in-law, Virginia Scotti of New Port Richie, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Arrangements were made by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Burial was at St. John’s Cemetery, Queens, N.Y.
Saul Cohen
Mr. Cohen, 76, of Iselin died Dec. 16 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Born in Roselle, he resided in Iselin the past 45 years. He was a machine operator at Airtron, Morris Plains, before his retirement. He was a member of Temple Emanu-El, Edison, and a former member of Beth Shalom, Iselin. He was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for The Jewish Federation of Middlesex County, and the Jewish Community Center; a Boy Scout troop leader; and a photographer for the Jewish State. Mr. Cohen is survived by his wife, Cindy Rothbloom Cohen; two sons, Jay Cohen of Tennessee and Edward Cohen of Middletown; a daughter, Andrea Portilla of Somerset; a sister, Leah Fried of California; and seven grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Temple of Israel, Woodbridge. The Goldstein Funeral Chapel Inc., Edison, was in charge of arrangements.
Charles "Fred" Hockenbary
Mr. Hockenbary, 86, of Matawan died Dec. 4 at home. Born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., he resided in Keansburg prior to moving to Matawan 64 years ago. He was a retired stationary engineer at National Lead Industries, Sayreville. Prior to that, he was employed at General Motors, Linden, and as a police officer for the borough of Matawan. He was a member and trustee of the First Baptist Church of Matawan. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, and The Scottish Rite, Trenton. He was a past member of the Matawan Masonic Lodge No. 192, and past patron of Sirius Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Matawan. He also volunteered at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was predeceased by his sister, Madeline Thomas, and his brother, Raymond Thorne. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth C. Stoothoff Hockenbary of Matawan; two daughters, Kay Walling of Old Bridge, and Lois Makowka of Keyport; two sisters, Grace Smith of San Antonio, Texas, and Juanita Anthony of New Hampton, Mo.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were by Bedle Matawan Funeral Home, Matawan. Interment

Evelyn P. Luker
Mrs. Luker, 96, of Onancock, Va., died Nov. 27 at home. She was born in the Belford section of Middletown. She was a teacher at Belford Elementary School and Leonardo Elementary School, Leonardo section of Middletown, for several years. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, Belford. Mrs. Luker was predeceased by her husband, James Luker; a son, James Luker Jr.; a daughter, Ethel Becker; and four sisters, Jenny Snyder, Lydia Post, Alma Daley and Doris Hansen. She is survived by a son, David P. Luker of Onancock, Va.; a brother, John Post of Shrewsbury; seven granddaughters; and eight great-grandchildren. The John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
