Blanche Dzwil Antrim
Mrs. Antrim, 86, of Holmdel died Nov. 29 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. Born in South River, she was a lifelong resident of the Matawan and Keyport area. She was a dietitian at Stouffer Foods, Newark, for 20 years, retiring in 1972. She was a former member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Mrs. Antrim was predeceased by her husband, Charles S. Antrim, in 1983; a son, James Antrim, in 1963; and a brother, Stanley Dzwil, in 1988. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Judy Antrim of Keyport; two brothers, John Dzwil of Little Egg Harbor and Joseph Dzwil of Matawan; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Dec. 3 from 9:15-10:15 a.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, followed by entombment at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Keyport.
Phebe G. Black
Mrs. Black, 87, of Jackson died Oct. 27 at Bartley Health Care Center, Jackson. Born in Hamilton Township, she was a resident of Allentown for 58 years before moving to Jackson 18 months ago. She was a member of the Ellisdale United Methodist Church, Ellisdale, and the Hamilton Square Grange. She was predeceased by her twin, Priscilla Wilson; a sister, Dorothy Van Aller, and two brothers, John and David Gardner. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, William A. Black; four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Herbert Gower of Cream Ridge, Margery and Larry Reuter of Allentown, Anita and Robert Clayton of Port Republic, and Kathleen and David Jones of Dunmore, W.Va.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Ellisdale United Methodist Church, followed by interment at North Crosswicks Cemetery, Hamilton Township. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville 07834; or to the Ellisdale United Methodist Church, P.O. Rita Byrnes Painchaud
Mrs. Painchaud, 84, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Nov. 2 at home. Her husband, Albert L. Painchaud, died in 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Maureen Gonzales of Lakewood; two sons, Paul Painchaud of Brick and Thomas Painchaud of the Clarksburg section of Millstone; two sisters, Muriel Clark of Hoboken and Frances Barrett of Brick; a brother, William Byrnes of Eulis, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Priscilla Meyer of Brick and Lorraine Painchaud of Massachusetts; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A Mass is planned for 10 a.m. on Nov. 6 at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment

Elizabeth "Betty" Kurtz
Mrs. Kurtz, 82, of Brentwood, Mo., died Nov. 3 at St. Mary’s Health Center, St. Louis. Born in Pennsylvania, she lived in Freehold before moving to Brentwood last year. She was predeceased by her husband, John T. Kurtz, in 1990. Surviving are two sons, Jack Kurtz of Millstone and Steven Kurtz of Freehold; two daughters, Lorraine Kurtz of Georgia and Karen Noyes of Brentwood. Funeral services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by entombment at St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum, Freehold.
Clifford G. Van Arsdale Jr.
Mr. Van Arsdale, 57, of the Perrineville section of Millstone, died Nov. 8 at home. Born and raised in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, he resided in Perrineville for 20 years. Previously employed by Princeton University, Arsdale was the former owner of Van’s Sporting Goods in both Trenton and Hamilton Township. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Glenn Royal of Ocala, Fla.; two sisters and a brother, Nancy Clegg of Florida, Robert T. Van Arsdale Sr. of Hamilton Township and Linda Furda of Trenton; three aunts and uncles, Betty and Walter Szymanski and Ruth and Donald Robbins, all of Cream Ridge, and James and Adelma Holzbaur of Hamilton Township; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held at Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown. Cremation was private. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, North Brunswick, 08902.
Dorothy R. Chamberlain
Mrs. Chamberlain, 69, of the New Egypt section of Plumsted, died Nov. 8 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Yardville, she was a lifetime area resident. She was a housewife and a member of the Millstone Senior Citizens Club. Mrs. Chamberlain was predeceased by her husband, Harold "Sonny" Chamberlain Jr.; two sisters, Mary Robbins and Anna Debow; and a brother, Walter Smith. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Cindy Chamberlain III, and Richard and Dolly Chamberlain, all of New Egypt, and Rusty and Nona Chamberlain of Columbus; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Norman Liedtka of New Egypt; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Samuel and Dolores Smith of Philadelphia, Tenn., and Charles and Rose Smith of Neptune; a sister and brother-in-law, Bertie and Melvin Thompson of Cream Ridge; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt, with the Rev. Horace Frantz officiating. Interment

Helen J. Lebers
Mrs. Lebers, 68, of Millstone died Nov. 4 at home. She was born in Jackson and lived in Millstone for 51 years. Mrs. Lebers was a home health aide for 10 years before retiring in 2000. She was predeceased by her husband, John in 1985. Surviving are her son, John J. Lebers Jr. of Millstone; four daughters, Susan Bennett of Browns Mills, Lorraine Urbani of Eastampton, Patricia Symbouras of New Egypt, and Penny Campbell of Sulphur Rock, Ark.; three sisters, Mable Fowler of Toms River, Geneva Randolf of Jackson, and Louise Manlin of Allentown, Pa.; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia, followed by interment at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson.
Joseph Trionfo
Mr. Trionfo, 83, of the Clarksburg section of Millstone, died Dec. 12 at home. Born in Dunmore, Pa., he had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Clarksburg two years ago. A U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II, he was a printer for the Tri-Borough Carton Co., Brooklyn, for many years prior to retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Sheridan Council #908, Brooklyn, and the O’Brien Association of Brooklyn. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Footett, in 1968 and three brothers, Frank, Carmen and Salvatore. Surviving are a son, Robert Trionfo, and two daughters, Dorothy Rivera and Diane Walker; two sisters, Mary Horan and Rose Slater; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Millstone, followed by interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. The C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell, was in charge of arrangements.
Jeanne M. Cerminaro
Mrs. Cerminaro, 84, of Manalapan, died Dec. 8 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Manalapan on Dec. 3. Born in Norwich, Conn., she had lived in Highland Park before moving to Manalapan 17 years ago. She had served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Englishtown Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Manalapan. She was predeceased by her husband, Pasquale Cerminaro, in 1973, two sisters and two brothers. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Pasquale and Annamarie Cerminaro of Millstone; Jeanne M. and Randy C. Sutton of Manalapan; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Freehold. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
