Andrew E. Petti Jr.
Mr. Petti, 38, of the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen, died Oct. 24 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
Born in Newark, he resided in Old Bridge and the Cliffwood Beach area for 30 years.
He was an irrigation systems installer at Central Jersey Irrigation, Englishtown.
Mr. Petti is survived by his parents, Andrew and Virginia Orlando Petti Sr. of Matawan; two sisters, Cathy Fleming of Cliffwood Beach and Denise White of Helmetta; a brother, James Petti of Colonia; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
Julia B. Janowski Zeczkowski
Mrs. Zeczkowski, 74, of Hazlet died Oct. 25 at University Hospital of Newark.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided there until moving to Hazlet 46 years ago.
Mrs. Zeczkowski was a line supervisor at Charles of the Ritz, Holmdel, for 15 years.
She was a communicant of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach.
Her memberships included the Holy Family Golden Agers, Deborah Hospital Women’s Guild, and the Hazlet Senior Citizen Club.
She enjoyed time with her family, and was an active volunteer with Project Linus NJ, Keyport, crocheting several blankets for the project.
Mrs. Zeczkowski is survived by her husband of 53 years, Stephen F. Zeczkowski; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Kathleen and Donald LaMontagne of Wall, Theresa Berg of Morganville, Victoria and Stanley Chapman of Manchester, N.H., and Christine and Arthur Smith of Jackson; a sister, Mary Bledsoe of Woodbridge, Va.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Oct. 29 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach.
Interment will follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.
Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.

Carlos Antonio Berges
Mr. Berges, 67, of Middletown died Oct. 27 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.
Born in New York City, he resided in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Middletown 27 years ago.
He was the retired owner and operator of Cass Associates, Port Newark. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He was a member and treasurer of the Spina Bifida Association, New York City, and coached at St. Ephraim’s Little League, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. Berges is survived by his wife of 37 years, Margaret Berges; two daughters, Elizabeth Rosina of South Jersey and Maggie Berges of Middletown; two sons, Richard Berges of Middletown and Robert Berges of California; a sister, Helen Garb of Florida; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Oct. 29 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
A funeral gathering take place Oct. 30 at 8:15 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a funeral liturgy at 9 a.m. at St. Catharine’s Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel.
Entombment will be at Holmdel Cemetery.
Anthony Arnold Hawley
Mr. Hawley, 53, of Long Branch died Oct. 26 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.
Born in Brazil, he resided in Highlands, Middletown and Long Branch most of his life.
He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service, Long Branch.
Prior to that, he worked at Bendix Aviation, Eatontown, for several years.
He enjoyed collecting World War II historical data and making models.
He was predeceased by his mother, Airtes D. Hawley; and a sister, Suzette M. Hawley.
He is survived by his father, Dudley Hawley of Middletown; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia L. and Christopher L. Davis of Middletown; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews in Brazil.
Visitation will be Oct. 29 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
A funeral service will be held Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, Red Bank.
Interment will be at Shoreland Memorial Park, Hazlet.
