A Mass for Mrs. Rose Marie Hall, 67, of Newark will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Lucys Church, Newark, after the funeral from the Megaro Memorial Home, 503 Union Ave., Belleville.
Mrs. Hall died Thursday at St. Michaels Medical Center, Newark.
Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Newark all her life.
Surviving is a brother, Joseph Inzetta.
Irving Friedman, 89, educator, co-founded volunteer program

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Irving Friedman, 89, of Scottsdale, a former New Jersey resident, here died Oct. 6.
Mr. Friedman was a guidance counselor and an English and drama teacher at Cleveland Junior High School and West Side High School, both in Newark, N.J., before retiring. During summers, he served as resident director of Cedar Lake Camp, Milford, Pa., a summer camp hosted by the New Jersey Federation of the Young Mens-Young Womens Hebrew Association.
He was also principal of Temple Israel in South Orange and Bnai Israel in Millburn.
Mr. Friedman co-founded the We Care volunteer program in Deerfield Beach, Fla., for which he was recognized by and met with President Bill Clinton.
He also wrote and produced shows for the local communities he lived in to raise funds for We Care, Israel Bonds and the United Jewish Appeal.
Mr. Friedman was inducted into the Broward County Senior Hall of Fame in Florida and received the Israel Freedom Award from the Israeli Legislature.
Born in Newburgh, N.Y., he lived in Newark, Verona, N.J., and Deerfield Beach before moving to Arizona three years ago.
Surviving are sons, Richard and Stuart; a sister, Florence Rader; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Victoria M. Fontana

Services for Mrs. Victoria M. Fontana, 79, of Holiday City at Berkeley will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River.
Mrs. Fontana died Friday at home.
Born in Newark, she moved to Holiday City at Berkeley 15 years ago.
Surviving are sons, Joseph and Anthony, and three grandchildren.
Francky Fameux

A Mass for Francky Fameux, 40, of North Plainfield will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Marys Stony Hill Church, Watchung, after the funeral from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung.
Mr. Fameux died Wednesday in the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Route 78 in Hillside.
He was a truck driver with Allied Beverage Group, Carlstadt, for five years.
Born in Haiti, he lived in Connecticut and Brooklyn before moving to North Plainfield seven years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Edna; sons, Franky Jr. and Nicholas; brothers, Dordy Crevecoeur, Albert Browne, Ronald Fameux and Muller Fameux, and sisters, Florence Koeman and Marie Paul.

Services for Mrs. Aurora De Matos, 86, of Union will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Townley Presbyterian Church, 829 Salem Rd., Union, after the funeral from the August F. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home, 139 Westfield Ave., Elizabeth.
Mrs. De Matos died Thursday in Union Hospital.
She was a seamstress in Elizabeth for 10 years before retiring in 1975.
Born in New Bedford, Mass, Mrs. De Matos lived in Elizabeth before moving to Union several years ago.
Surviving are a son, Anthony A.; a brother, Anibal Ferriera; sisters, Victoria Nunes, Concelcao Teixeira, Rita Ribeiro and Rosa Pinto, and two grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Edith Chenevert-OConnell, 85, of East Stroudsburg, Pa., a former New Jersey resident, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union.
Mrs. Chenevert-OConnell died Friday in the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg.
She was a seamstress at Lord & Taylor, Millburn, for 25 years before retiring in 1982.
Born in Newark, she lived in Rahway and Union before recently moving to East Stroudsburg.
Surviving are sons, Fred and John Chenevert; a brother, Lawrence Riggs; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
