LAWRENCE -- Helen J. Thomas, 83, died Tuesday at home.
Born in Roebling, she lived in Robbinsville 41 years before recently moving to Lawrenceville.
She and her husband were farmers in Robbinsville for 28 years.
She enjoyed boating, fishing and gardening.
Wife of the late Arthur G., she is survived by two daughters, Mary Jane Thomas and Arlene D. Neumeyer; three sons, George A., Donald G. and Gerald L.; two brothers, Michael and John Schwartzkopf; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown.
Burial will be in Emley's Hill Cemetery, Cream Ridge.
Calling hour will be 9:30 a.m. until service at the funeral home.

Charles Ostrander

LANGHORNE, Pa. -- Charles Ostrander, 82, died Monday at St. Mary Medical Center, Middletown.
Born in Pitman, N.J., he lived in Feasterville before moving to Langhorne four years ago.
He owned Central Aluminum Installers before retiring.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and received the Meritorious Unit Award, Philippines Liberation Ribbon with a Bronze Star and Asiatic Pacific Service Medal with two Bronze Stars.
Mr. Ostrander was a member of Calvary Full Gospel Church and Blind Veterans Association.
Husband of the late Evelyn M. Beans Ostrander, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and George Ulmer of Jenkintown; two grandsons, Jeffrey and Matthew Ulmer; a great-granddaughter, Penny Laine Ulmer; sisters; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, with the Rev. David Farina, pastor of Calvary Full Gospel Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Whitemarsh Cemetery, Willow Grove.
Calling hour will be 9 a.m. until service at the funeral home.

HAMILTON -- June E. Hickman, 76, died Monday at Alterra Clare Bridge of Hamilton.
Born in Flint, Mich., she lived in Adrian, Mich., and Tampa, Fla., before moving to Hamilton this year.
She retired as a real estate agent in Florida.
She was a volunteer usher at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center ten years and member of Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Douglass T. and Marguerite Hickman of Farmington Hills, Mich.; a daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne L. Hickman and John Weber of Ewing; two brothers, Arthur Tallent of Essex, Ontario, Canada, and George Tallent of Lompoc, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pennington United Methodist Church, 60 S. Main St., Pennington, with the Rev. James Hofacker, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Windsor, Ontario.

George E. Oldzej

CRANBURY -- George E. Oldzej, 87, died Tuesday at Park Place Center, South Brunswick.
Born in Edgewater, he lived in Cranbury more than 55 years.
Mr. Oldzej was a farmer and mason for John Forman in Cranbury, retiring in 1976 after 21 years.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Helmetta.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Adele Kokoszka Oldzej; a daughter, Leonia Skok of Jamesburg; a brother, Theodore of West Windsor; a sister, Irene Davis of Belmar; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 8:15 a.m. Friday from Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Helmetta.
Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Monroe.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
