A Mass for Anthony Cocuzza of Ortley Beach will be offered at 10 a.m. today in St. Joseph the Carpenter Church, Roselle. The funeral will be from the J.C. Prall Inc. Funeral Home, Roselle.
Mr. Cocuzza died Monday in the Community Medical Center, Toms River.
He was a truck driver for Tri State Motor Transit of Josten, Mo., for three years before retiring in 1979. Earlier, he had been a truck driver for the Ritter Trucking Co. for five years and, before that, for Quinn-Boden Trucking Co. for 20 years, both of Rahway.
Born in Elizabeth, he lived in Roselle before moving to Ortley Beach in 1990.
Surviving are two sons, John M. and Donald D.; two brothers, Charles and Angelo; a sister, Mrs. Ann Vett, and three grandchildren.
Victor Andersen, 91, Roselle police chief

WINCHESTER, Va. - Victor Andersen, 91, of Slanesville, W.Va., formerly of New Jersey, died here yesterday in Winchester Medical Center.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Dooley Funeral Home, 218 North Ave., Cranford, N.J.
Mr. Andersen was a member of the Roselle Police Department, Roselle, N.J., for 34 years, serving as chief of police for 12 years before retiring in 1973.
He was a member of the New Jersey Police Chiefs Association.
Born in Roselle, he lived there for several years before moving to Slanesville in December.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond and Donald; a sister, Mrs. Augusta Evanuk; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Frances Czeslowski, 62

A Mass for Mrs. Frances Czeslowski, 62, of Harrison will be offered at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the Holy Cross Church, Harrison. Arrangements are by the Condon Memorial Home, Harrison.
Mrs. Czeslowski, who died Wednesday in the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, was a cafeteria worker at the Lincoln School in Harrison for six years.
Born in Kearny, she was a lifelong resident of Harrison.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Jr. and Stephen; two daughters, Mrs. Julie Murtha and Mrs. Amy Stacevicz; six sisters, Mrs. Madeline Smillie, Mrs. Muriel Donovan, Mrs. Lucille Thornton, Mrs. Marjorie McDonough, Mrs. Dolores Robertson, and Mrs. Barbara Meny; four brothers, John, James, Eugene and Floyd Eckert, and seven grandchildren.
Louis H. Kessler, company president, 71

Services for Louis H. Kessler, 71, of Westfield will be held at 9:45 a.m. tomorrow in Temple Emanuel-El, 756 E. Broad St., Westfield. Arrangements are by the Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
Mr. Kessler died Friday in Overlook Hospital, Summit.
He was president of Exchange Holding Corp., Scotch Plains, a longtime family business.
He held a bachelor’s degree in education from West Chester University, West Chester, Pa., where he participated in varsity football, lacrosse and gymnastics. A four-letter man at Hillside High School, Mr. Kessler was all-state and co-captain of the football team and also on the baseball, wrestling and basketball teams. He was chairman of his class’s 50th reunion in 1998.
He also was a founding member of the Chancellor Avenue School Playground Association, established more than 50 years ago by hundreds of athletes in the Newark area, who still meet annually to recall their sporting days.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Kessler was the founder and administrator of the Kessler Family Scholarship Funds at Princeton University and at Monmouth University, West Long Branch.
A 45-year member of Temple Emanu-El, Mr. Kessler had served on its board of directors.
Born in Newark, he lived in Hillside and in Allenhurst for 10 years before moving to Westfield 45 years ago.
Surviving are Rita, his wife of 47 years; a daughter, Mrs. Karen Horowitz; a son, Todd Ellis; a sister, Mrs. Sandy Kessler Greenberg, and four grandchildren.
Ann R. Sherry

A Mass for Mrs. Ann R. Sherry, 82, of Union will be at 9:15 a.m. tomorrow in St. Michael’s Church, Union, after the funeral from the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union.
Mrs. Sherry, who died Wednesday in Overlook Hospital, Summit, was a bookkeeper with Hayward Manufacturing Co. in Elizabeth before retiring 12 years ago.
Born in Jersey City, she moved to Union in 1958.
Surviving are a daughter, Dianne; a son, Jack; a brother, J. Edward Miller; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
William C. Mueller

A Liturgy for William C. Mueller, 86, of Whiting will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Arrangements are by the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
Mr. Mueller, who died Thursday at home, worked in sales at Dunn & Bradstreet, New York City, for 25 years before retiring in 1979.
He was a member of the Old Guard and Safety Patrol in Pine Ridge and a past president of the Pine Ridge Residents Club.
Born in Glendale, N.Y., Mr. Mueller lived in Brooklyn and Queens before moving to Whiting in 1979.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Benney; a son, William, and three grandchildren.
