A Mass for Manuel J. Garcia, 55, of Carteret will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Arrangements are by the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home, Milltown.
Mr. Garcia, who died Friday at home, was a self-employed truck driver.
Born in Staten Island, he lived in Perth Amboy before moving to Carteret seven years ago.
Surviving are a son, Richard, and sisters, Ann Powers and Vickie Fox.
Theodore Amrein

A Mass for Theodore Amrein, 79, of East Brunswick will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Arrangements are by the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown.
Mr. Amrein, who died Monday in the Parker Home, New Brunswick, worked for the Prudential Insurance Co. for 34 years before retiring.
He was a flight instructor in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Born in New Brunswick, Mr. Amrein lived in East Brunswick while maintaining a residence in Belgrade Lakes, Maine.
Surviving are his wife, Frances; a son, Ted, and a brother, Joseph.
Ralph Baldassare

A Mass for Ralph Baldassare, 64, of Franklin Park will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Augustine Church, Franklin Park, after the funeral from the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., Somerset.
Mr. Baldassare, who died Monday at home, was a supervisor at Congoleum Floors in Trenton before retiring in 1998.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Born in Staten Island, he lived in Woodbridge and Piscataway before moving to Franklin Park 15 years ago.
Surviving are Phyllis, his wife of 25 years; a son, Daniel, and daughters, Dawn and Lisa.
Dorothy I. Langan

A Mass for Mrs. Dorothy I. Langan, 68, of Manahawkin will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, South Orange, after the funeral from the Joseph W. Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange.
Mrs. Langan, who died Monday in St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, worked in the administrative office of the Old Bridge Board of Education for 25 years before retiring in 1995.
She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society at St. Ambrose Church in Old Bridge.
Born in New York City, she lived in Old Bridge for 35 years before moving to Manahawkin three years ago.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas J.; sons, Bryan and Daniel, and two grandchildren.
Carmella C. Alyea

A Mass for Mrs. Carmella C. Alyea, 85, of Nutley will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mary’s Church, Nutley, after the funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
Mrs. Alyea, who was a member of the Parkside Tenants Association, Nutley, died Monday in Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains.
Born in Carbondale, Pa., she lived in Nutley since 1943.
Surviving are a son, Chester; sisters, Mrs. Lena Militello and Mrs. Margaret DeBacco, and a grandchild.
Richard D. Barnes

Services for Richard D. Barnes, 40, of Elizabeth will be at 12 p.m. Friday in the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union.
Mr. Barnes died Monday at home.
Born in East Orange, he lived in Linden before moving to Elizabeth.
Surviving are his parents, Franklin and Gloria Barnes; a sister, Mrs. Doreen Salvado; a brother, Stephen, and his grandmother, Mrs. Edith Ferguson.
