R. Minelli Sr.

A Mass for Ralph R. Minelli Sr., 89, of Waretown will be offered at 9 a.m. Saturday in Mount Carmel Church, Orange, following the funeral from the Paul Ippolito Memorial, 252-256 Henry St., Orange.
Mr. Minelli, who died Tuesday in Southern Ocean County Medical Center, Manahawkin, worked for Consolidated Laundry in Newark for 38 years before retiring as plant manager in 1978.
He was the oldest member of the Italian-American Club in Stafford.
Born in Boonton, Mr. Minelli lived in West Orange for 44 years before moving to Waretown 20 years ago.
Surviving are three sons, Vincent, Ralph Jr. and John; a sister, Mrs. Lucia Marucci; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Brady Moore

Services for Brady Moore, 87, of Newark will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Suburban Home of Cotton Funeral Service, 130 Main St., Orange.
Mr. Moore, who died Sunday in the Hospital Center at Orange, worked for Crucible Steel in Harrison for 33 years before retiring in 1965. Earlier, he had worked at Schickhaus Meat Packing Co. in Kearny and on numerous construction jobs.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Mr. Moore was a member of the American Legion, Guyton-Callahan Post 152.
Born in Albany, Ga., he lived in Newark for 80 years.
Surviving are his wife, Anne; a son, Frederick D.; four sisters, Lucille, Anne, Florence and Blanche; a brother, Frank; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Nicholas Mortarulo

A Mass for Nicholas A. Mortarulo, 74, of Scotch Plains will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church, Scotch Plains, following the funeral from the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave., Scotch Plains.
Mr. Mortarulo, who died Tuesday at home, was a supervisor with the American Water Co. in Short Hills for more than 40 years before retiring in 1991.
He served in the Army during World War II, and was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart in Cranford and the National 4th Infantry Division Association of New York-New Jersey.
Born in Summit, he lived in Scotch Plains since 1950.
Surviving are four sons, Anthony, Nicholas W., James and Robert; four daughters, Mrs. Jean Foley, Mrs. Mary Beth Becker, Anne Marie and Mrs. Patricia Diskin; two brothers, Michael and Mario; two sisters, Antoinette and Mrs. Mary Zeiss, and nine grandchildren.
Margaret G. Mutterer

A memorial Mass for Mrs. Margaret G. Mutterer, 90, of Lakehurst will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John’s Church, 619 Chestnut St., Lakehurst.
Arrangements are by the Dancy Funeral Home, Caldwell.
Mrs. Mutterer, who died Saturday in the Community Medical Center, Toms River, was born in Newark and lived in Summit before moving to Lakehurst 20 years ago.
Louis Gyorfi

Services for Louis Gyorfi, 99, of Selinsgrove, Pa., a former Roselle resident, will be at 10 a.m. today in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 146 E. Second Ave., Roselle.
Mr. Gyorfi, who died Sunday at home, was a tool-and-die operator with the Singer Sewing Machine Co. in Elizabeth for 43 years before retiring in 1966.
He was a member of the Men’s Association in Roselle Park and the Pinewood Hall Senior Citizen Association, and a life member of the Loyalty Lodge 33 in Union.
Born in Jarmi, Hungary, he lived in Roselle for 25 years before returning to Selinsgrove two years ago.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Lynn Bloom and Mrs. Olga Venkus; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Edward R. Skarl

A Mass for Edward R. Skarl, 72, of Hillside will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Christ the King Church, Hillside, after the funeral from the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 N. Broad St., Hillside.
Mr. Skarl died Tuesday in Staten Island University Hospital.
He was a labor control supervisor for the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Newark for 40 years before retiring 10 years ago.
Mr. Skarl served in the Air Force during peacetime.
He was a member of the Hillside Chapter of UNICO.
Born in Newark, he was a lifelong resident of Hillside.
Surviving are his wife, Carmen M.; daughters, Mrs. Anne Marie Conforti and Karen M.; a son, Michael J.; sisters, Mrs. Mary Yakely and Mrs. Josephine Domina and Mrs. Margaret Siwicki; a brother, Frank, and four grandchildren
Helen Orolen

Mrs. Helen Orolen, 76, of Nutley, a retired registered nurse, died yesterday at home.
A Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary Church, Nutley. The funeral will be from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
Mr. Orolen was a registered nurse at the former Martland Medical Center in Newark before retiring.
She was a graduate of the Newark City Hospital School of Nursing.
Born in Shickshinny, Pa., she lived in Sayreville before moving to Nutley 41 years ago.
Surviving are a son, Joseph; a sister, Mrs. Stella Kollar, and a brother, Casimir Stempien.
