Memorial services will be scheduled for Ms. Patricia Jane Cole, 55, of Montclair, a registered nurse, who died Sunday at home. Arrangements are by Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home.
Ms. Cole was a registered nurse at the East Orange General Hospital for many years.
She was a 1965 graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Paterson.
Born in Vineland, Ms. Cole lived in Cedar Grove before moving to Montclair in 1980.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Maria Pierson and Sonja Cole; her mother, Mrs. Bertha Cole; sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Koehnlein and Mrs. Sharon Pannozzo, and a brother, Robert Eng.
Lena D’Allegro

Mrs. Lena “Nonna” D’Allegro, 96, of West Orange died yesterday in St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston.
A Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark, after the funeral from the Megaro Memorial Home, 503 Union Ave., Belleville.
Mrs. D’Allegro was born in Newark and moved to West Orange in 1978.
Surviving are a son, Joseph; a brother, Edward Filippone; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Betty Dankel

Graveside services for Mrs. Betty S. Dankel, 81, of Fanwood will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Arrangements are by the Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad St., Westfield.
Mrs. Dankel died Sunday in Chelsea Assisted Living in Fanwood.
Born in Cranford, she lived in Westfield and Manchester for many years before moving to Fanwood two years ago.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Barbara Pierce and Mrs. Virginia Sullivan; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Kiesling; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Robert S. DeRick

Services for Robert S. DeRick, 81, of Whiting will be at 8 o’clock tomorrow evening in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park.
Mr. DeRick, who died Sunday in the Logan Manor Health Care, Whiting, worked at the Schering-Plough Pharmaceutical Co., Kenilworth, for 11 years before retiring in 1981.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Elizabeth post of the Disabled American Veterans.
Born in Newark, Mr. DeRick lived in Kenilworth for 30 years before moving to Whiting 20 years ago.
Surviving are Hazel, his wife of 59 years; daughters, Mrs. Barbara Albani, Mrs. Lynn Cowart, Mrs. Jill Kirchberger and Mrs. Bonnie Raimondi; a son, Richard; a sister, Mrs. Adeline Berardesco; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Viola F. Grooms

A Mass for Mrs. Viola F. Grooms, 85, of Belleville will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. John’s Church, Orange, after the funeral from the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mount Pleasant Ave.
Mrs. Grooms died Saturday in the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.
She was a caretaker at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, Orange, with her late husband, Paul E., for 25 years before retiring in 1993. She had also worked for the Westinghouse Lamp Division, Bloomfield, during World War II.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Mrs. Grooms lived in Orange and East Orange before moving to Belleville in 1996.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Beatrice DePaul, and brothers, Martin, Leonard and Frank Piechocki.
Rose Glatt

Services for Mrs. Rose Glatt, 80, of Kearny will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton. Arrangements are by the Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
Mrs. Glatt, who died Saturday in West Hudson Hospital, Kearny, was a sales clerk at McCrory’s in Newark for 12 years, retiring in 1985.
She had been a Brownie Leader with Troop 78, and a past assistant Girl Scout leader with Troop 10, both of Kearny.
Born in East Newark, she moved to Kearny 42 years ago.
Surviving is a daughter, Sara Janet.
