A Mass for Francis G. Reinfurt, 85, of Elizabeth will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Hillside, after the funeral from the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad St., Hillside.
Mr. Reinfurt, who died Sunday in the Brother Bonaventure Extended Care Center, Elizabeth, worked for the Jersey Mortgage Co. in Elizabeth for 46 years before retiring 20 years ago.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a past commander of the Union County American Legion and the American Legion Argonne Post 6, Elizabeth.
Mr. Reinfurt was a member of the Knights of Columbus Elizabeth Council 256, the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree John Dawson-Gillmary Shea Assembly in Elizabeth and the St. Catherine’s Seniors in Hillside.
Born in Elizabeth, he lived in Hillside before moving back to Elizabeth 25 years ago.
Surviving is a brother, Henry J.
Adele F. Rakos

Mrs. Adele F. Rakos, 92, of Perth Amboy died yesterday at home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in the Hungarian Reformed Church of Perth Amboy. The funeral will be from the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.
Mrs. Rakos was a writer and payroll clerk for the Perth Amboy Evening News and the News Tribune for 43 years before retiring 12 years ago.
A co-founder and member of the Central New Jersey Bowling Association for Women, she participated in many state and national tournaments. Mrs. Rakos was a member of the Lady Cardinals Softball Team in Perth Amboy and the 600 Club of Central New Jersey and the State of New Jersey.
Born in Hopelawn, she lived in Perth Amboy most of her life.
Surviving are a son, Joseph, and four grandchildren.
Frank A. Pruss

Frank A. Pruss, 51, of Piscataway died yesterday in the Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center, Plainfield.
A Mass will be scheduled for Thursday at Sacred Heart Church, South Plainfield, after the funeral from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.
Mr. Pruss was a surveyor at Murphy-Hallows Associates, Stirling, before retiring.
He was a coach with the Piscataway Little League.
Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Piscataway for 16 years.
Surviving are Diane, his wife of 18 years; sons, Christopher F. and Adam J., and his parents, Ann and James Moore.
Peter J. Pressley

Services for Peter J. Pressley, 77, of Linden will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Heard A.M.E. Church, Roselle. Arrangements are by the G.G. Woody Funeral Home, Roselle.
Mr. Pressley, who died Friday in Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth, was a butcher with Posnock Kosher Food Co. in Linden five years before retiring. Earlier, he had been a butcher at the United Packing House in Elizabeth for 12 years.
He served as a military policeman in the Army during World War II.
Active with the Heard A.M.E. Church, Mr. Pressley was a member of the men’s chorus and the South Carolina Club and was an official fish fryer.
He had also cooked for the Linden Pop Warner football team, a group that honored him this year for his dedicated service.
Born in Nesmith, S.C., Mr. Pressley lived in Elizabeth before moving to Linden 20 years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann; sisters, Mrs. Louise Wilson, Mrs. Alberta Cunningham, Mrs. Rosa Lee Robinson and Mrs. Mary P. Brown; a brother, Joe S.; a foster sister, Mrs. Hester P. Wilson; a foster brother, William Pressley; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Marion C. Popp

A Mass for Mrs. Marion C. Popp, 72, of Union will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Michael’s Church, Union, after the funeral from the Haeberle & Barth Colonial Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union.
Mrs. Popp died Sunday in Overlook Hospital, Summit.
She was a member of the St. Michael’s Church Senior Citizens and the Union Township Senior Citizens.
Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Popp lived in Union for many years.
Surviving are her husband, Andrew F.; daughters, Mrs. Marion E. Hilbert, Mrs. Dorothy M. Wade and Mrs. Nancy A. De Gisi; a son, Thomas A.; a sister, Mrs. Angela B. Kiernan; a brother, Joseph R. Nappa, and nine grandchildren.
