A Mass for Thomas J. McMahon, 67, of Toms River will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Michael’s Church, Cranford.
Arrangements are by the Dooley Funeral Home, Cranford.
Mr. McMahon, who died Friday in Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, was a foreman with Western Electric Co. in Kearny for 34 years before retiring.
Born in Jersey City, he lived in Cranford for many years before moving to Toms River seven years ago.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Shirley Laspina and Mrs. Sheila Senkarik; a sister, Margaret; a brother, Charles, and three grandchildren.
Jack Van Clief Brewer

Services for Jack Van Clief Brewer, 81, of Eatontown will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad St., Eatontown.
Mr. Brewer, who died Thursday in Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, was a metal mechanic at Fort Monmouth for 38 years before retiring in 1985.
An Army veteran of World War II, he saw action in the Battle of the Bulge.
Mr. Brewer belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2179, Port Monmouth, and the Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge. A member of the Enterprise Lodge 48 F&AM;, Jersey City, he served as treasurer for 25 years and master in 1962. He was a member of the Scottish Rite of Northern Jersey and a 12-year charter member of the VASA Order of America, Dala Hast Lodge 742, Colts Neck.
Born in Jersey City, Mr. Brewer lived in Eatontown for 34 years.
Surviving are his wife, Alice Mae, and a sister, Mrs. Katheryn Franza.
Ethel Berghauser

Services will be private for Mrs. Ethel M. Berghauser, 94, of New Providence, who died Thursday in Glenside Nursing Home, New Providence.
Arrangements are by the William R. Dangler Funeral Home, Summit.
Born in Old Forge, Pa., Mrs. Berghauser moved to New Providence 30 years ago.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Susan Bernhard and Mrs. Sally Leffler; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Norma Asher

Mrs. Norma Asher, 87, of Bridgewater died yesterday in Brandywyne Assisted Living Facility, Bridgewater.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in Beth David Memorial Park, Kenilworth. Arrangements are by the Bernheim-Apter-Goldsticker Suburban Funeral Chapel, Maplewood.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Asher lived in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., before moving to Bridgewater last year.
Surviving are her husband, Milton; a son, David, and three grandchildren.
Rose Marie Morphy

A Mass for Mrs. Rose Marie Morphy, 81, of Union will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in St. Anthony’s Church, Elizabeth, after the funeral from the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield.
Mrs. Morphy, who died Friday in Union Hospital, was a hostess working for the Kingston Restaurant in Union for 20 years before retiring in 1984.
She was a member of the Union Elks Club 1583.
Born in Elizabeth, she moved to Union 43 years ago.
Surviving are her husband. Paul G. Sr., sons, Paul G. Jr. and Joseph Michael Karch; a daughter, Mrs. Paula Ann Pace; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Beatrice Mink

Graveside services for Mrs. Beatrice Tarlow Mink, 85, a lifelong resident of Elizabeth, will be at 1 p.m. today in Gomel Chesed Cemetery, Newark. Arrangements are by the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, Westfield.
Mrs. Mink died Friday in Frankford Hospital, Philadelphia.
Surviving are sons, David R. and Richard S.; a sister, Mrs. Florence Horne; brothers, Morris, Emanuel and Dr. Herbert Tarlow, and six grandchildren.

A Mass for Mrs. Estelle Michewicz, 78, of Newark will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Aloysius Church, Newark. Arrangements are by the Rucki Funeral Home, Newark.
Mrs. Michewicz, who died Friday in St. James Hospital, Newark, was a factory worker for Dower Finishing Co. in Belleville.
Born in Poland, she lived in New York City before moving to Newark.
