A Mass for Mrs. Dolores Gostyla, 67, of Barnegat will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat. Arrangements are by the Riggs Funeral Home, Forked River.
Mr. Gostyla, who died Tuesday in the Great Bay Nursing Home, Tuckerton, was a secretary with the Parsippany-Troy Hills school system before retiring in 1994.
Born in Harrison, she lived in Parsippany before moving to Barnegat in 1994.
Surviving are a son, Christopher; a daughter, Patricia; a sister, Mrs. Mary Dally, and a brother, Thomas Nugent.
Benjamin J. Gerberville Sr.

Benjamin J. Gerberville Sr., 84, of Rahway died yesterday in Rahway Hospital.
A Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mark’s Church, Rahway, after the funeral from the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home, 275 W. Milton Ave., Rahway.
Mr. Gerberville was a brake inspector with the Penn Central Railroad, now Amtrack of New York, for 41 years before retiring in 1977.
An Army veteran of World War II, he served as a staff sergeant with the 764th Railroad Shop Battalion Company C in Europe.
Mr. Gerberville was a member of American Legion Post 5, Rahway, the Rahway Retired Men’s Club and St. Mark’s Holy Name Society.
An avid bowler, he participated in the Rahway and Linden bowling leagues for many years.
Born in Newport, R.I., he lived in Brooklyn and East Meadow, N.Y., before moving to Rahway 42 years ago.
Surviving are Marjorie M., his wife of 54 years; a daughter, Mrs. Anita M. Handera; sons, Benjamin J. Jr. and Roy D., and two grandchildren.
Rose Mary Freely

Mrs. Rose Mary Freely of Lyndhurst died yesterday in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Paterson.
A Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Michael’s Church, Lyndhurst, after the funeral from the Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.
Mrs. Freely was a member of the North Jersey Irish Association and the St. Brendan’s Gaelic Football League in North Arlington.
Born in Ireland, she lived in Rutherford before moving to Lyndhurst.
Surviving are her husband, Austin; daughters, Mrs. Ann Veronica Levin and Mrs. Monica Rose Frieman; sons, Brendan Mark and Michael Austin; sisters, Sr. Mary Josephine of the Sisters of Mercy, Mrs. Elizabeth Fagan and Mrs. Maureen Duffy, and brothers, Hugh and John Sullivan.
John A. Ferrara

A Mass for John A. Ferrara of Scotch Plains will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church, Scotch Plains, after the funeral from the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave., Scotch Plains.
Mr. Ferrara died Monday in the Holmdel Health Care Center.
A restaurant manager for 30 years, he worked at The Manor and the Westwood Restaurant, both in West Orange, before retiring in 1972.
He was a member of the Scotch Hills Country Club.
Born in Italy, Mr. Ferrara lived in Newark before moving to Scotch Plains in 1945.
Surviving are sons, John A. Jr. and R. James; brothers, A. Gerardo and Constantine J.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Mellilo, and eight grandchildren.
Miriam Fenias

A memorial service for Mrs. Miriam Fenias, 87, of Verona was held in her residence in Verona. Arrangements were by Cremation Funerals of New Jersey, Harrison.
Mrs. Fenias, who died Tuesday in Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge, was president of Newark OxWelding, a steel fabricating company, before retiring eight years ago.
During World War II, she headed Bundles for Britain, an organization that sent clothing overseas to the British forces.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Fenias lived in East Orange before moving to Verona.
Nathan Feitlowitz

Services for Nathan Feitlowitz, 94, of West Orange will be at noon today in the Louis Suburban Chapels, 13-01 Broadway, Fair Lawn.
Mr. Feitlowitz, who died Tuesday in the Daughters of Israel Geriatric Center, West Orange, owned the Print Shop, a commercial printing firm in Paterson, which he founded in 1930. He retired in 1981.
Previously, Mr. Feitlowitz had been the assistant advertising manager at Meyer Brothers department store in Paterson.
He was a past chancellor of the Knights of Pythias Fabiola Lodge 57 and a past president of the United Jersey Verein, both in Paterson, and a member of the American Philatelic Society and the American First Day Cover Society.
Born in New York, Mr. Feitlowitz lived in Paterson and Elmwood Park before moving to West Orange four years ago.
Surviving are a son, Martin; a daughter, Mrs. Diane Katz; a brother, Charles; a sister, Mrs. Frieda Holsman; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
