Graveside services for Virginia G. (Wolf) Westergaard, 82, formerly of North Bergen, will be at noon Friday at Fairview Cemetery. She died Friday in Anchorage, Alaska.
Westergaard was born in North Bergen, and lived there until moving to Anchorage four years ago. She was a homemaker.

Simon J. Angelo Jr.

Mass for Simon J. Angelo Jr., 78, a native of Jersey City, will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Michael's Church, Cranford. He died at home Monday.
Angelo had lived in Cranford since 1974. He was a stationary engineer with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 68, retiring in 1985. He was owner of Park Hardware, in Jersey City and Staten Island.
He was a parishioner of St. Michael's Church and an active member of the Cranford Senior Citizens Wednesday Club, Cranford Fishing Club, Cranford Billiards Club and the Moose Lodge in Linden.
He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II, and saw action on the cutter Algonquin in the North Atlantic. He held the rank of petty officer first class. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Award.
Angelo was a member of VFW Post 335, Cranford, and Catholic War Veterans, Jersey City.
Surviving are his wife, Madeline D'Amico; a daughter, Marie Angelo Bigden; a son, Joseph S.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services for Ruth (Albericci) O'Connor, 86, of North Bergen, were Saturday at Fairview Cemetery. She died Thursday at Bayonne Hospital.
O'Connor was born in New York City. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Rosemary Miller; five grandchildren, Joseph, Kevin, and John O'Connor, Robbin Miller-Pavone and Richard J. Miller IV; and five great-grandchildren.

Robert C. Booth

Mass for Robert Charles Booth, 61, formerly of North Bergen, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Church, Butler. He died at home Tuesday.
Booth was born in Teaneck and lived in North Bergen and Fairview until moving to Bloomingdale in 1977. He was an accountant with Farrell Lines, New York.
He was a Marine Corps veteran during peacetime.
Surviving are two daughters, Lauren Grecco and Christine LaSala; two brothers, John and Marty; his mother, Elizabeth; and three grandchildren.

Manuel Perez

Services for Manuel Perez, 73, of Union City, will be tonight at 7 at Jorge Rivera Funeral Home, North Bergen. He died Monday at Christ Hospital, Jersey City.
Perez was born in Havana, Cuba. He was a factory worker with the Ford Motor Co.
Surviving are his wife, Ladys; three daughters, Esmeralda, Maria and Judy; four brothers, Marcelino, Jose, Quitiliano and Chano; and one grandchild.

Mass for Matthew E. Harwich Sr., 91, a lifelong resident of Jersey City, will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Church of the Assumption, Roselle Park. He died Monday at Hamilton Park Health Care Center, Jersey City.
Harwich worked in investments for Citibank in New York City for 46 years, retiring in 1969.
Surviving are three sons, Matthew E. Jr., Leonard and Raymond; four daughters, Dolores Hladky, Florence Connelly, Geraldine LaPrete and Norine Wilson; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Julia J. Bathchlior

Services for Julia J. Bathchlior, 87, of Jersey City, will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City. She died Sunday at Jersey City Medical Center.
Bathchlior was born in Savannah, Ga. She was a seamstress.
Surviving are a son, Samuel C. Williams; and a granddaughter.
