William H. Plunkett Jr.

PALM COAST, Fla. -- William H. Plunkett Jr., 77, died Saturday here.
Born in Trenton and raised in Washington Crossing, N.J., he lived in Massachusetts 50 years before moving to Palm Coast three years ago.
Mr. Plunkett was a sales engineer 50 years until retiring in 1998.
A Navy ensign, he served aboard the USS New Jersey from 1945 to 1946.
He graduated from Pennington (N.J.) Central High School in 1941 and attended Lehigh, Harvard and Columbia universities before graduating from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1947 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Son of the late Martha and William H. Plunkett Sr. and husband of the late Jean Corning Plunkett, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jacqueline Richardson Plunkett; two daughters, Gail Douglas of Marshfield, Mass., and Elizabeth Schalock of Monmouth, Ore.; two sons, William H. III of Middleboro, Mass., and David W. of East Falmouth, Mass.; three stepdaughters, Melissa Roland of Camas, Wash., Sarah Akins of North Abington, Mass., and Jennifer Bonino of Middleboro; 14 grandchildren; a sister, Betty L. Plunkett of Titusville, N.J.; and three cousins.
Burial and memorial service will be at Massachusetts National Cemetery
in Bourne.
Arrangements were by Alderson's Palm Coast Community Funeral Home.
Joseph C. Guagliardo

PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP -- Joseph C. Guagliardo, 48, died Tuesday at Virtua -- Memorial Hospital of Burlington County, Mount Holly.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived there until moving to Browns Mills in 1985.
Mr. Guagliardo had worked with Laborers' Union 172 of Bordentown.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Guagliardo was a member of the Sons of Italy and an Eagles fan.
He is survived by his wife, Laura A. LeBach; his mother, Lucy Cascio Guagliardo of Holmdel; four sons, Joseph R., Jonathan and Lawrence Guagliardo and Daniel LeBach; and four daughters, Cindy Ann Casteneda, Jennifer and Theresa Guagliardo and Shannon LeBach, all of Browns Mills; a brother, Barney of Manalapan; a sister, Mary Ann Guagliardo of Manhattan, N.Y.; and a grandson, Joseph Medina of Browns Mills.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 22 Trenton Road, Browns Mills.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, with a Christian Wake service.

Mary S. Tang

PRINCETON TOWNSHIP -- Mary S. Tang, 48, died Wednesday at home.
After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, in 1977, Mrs. Tang worked in the fabric industry, where she focused on children's wear. She had worked with Mayfair Infantswear and helped develop relationships with mills in China, Taiwan, Indonesia and Thailand.
She enjoyed swimming, skiing and hiking, among other sports, and the arts. She was a supporter of Princeton Charter School.
She is survived by her husband, William M. Tang; a daughter, Andrea Tang; a sister, Stephanie Pu; two brothers, Roy and Steve Shu; and her mother, P.C. Chao.
A gathering of family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.

Rev. David B. Ewen

SOUTHAMPTON -- Rev. David B. Ewen, 74, died Wednesday at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills.
Born in Woodbury, he lived in New York before moving to Southampton.
Rev. Ewen was a retired minister with Juliustown Methodist Church and had served 13 churches in the North-Central New York Conference of the United Methodist Church.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Leisuretowne Vet, History Club, Square Club, Southampton Historical Society, Vincentown Grange 67 and American Legion Post 586, Southampton. He was a past master of Vincentown Masonic Lodge and grand chaplain emeritus of New York Masonic Lodge. He had been a Boy Scout leader in Vincentown and member of Vincentown United Methodist Church.
Son of the late Bill and Martha Ewen and brother of the late William A., he is survived by his wife, Rosella Shearer Ewen; a son and daughter-in-law, David B. Jr. and Trish Ewen of Fuquay Varina, N.C.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Frances and Brian Tennis of Quakertown, Pa., and Bonnie and Adam Merrill of Bath, N.Y.; two sisters, Mary Saurman of Fort Washington, Pa., and Nancy Leard of Ambler, Pa.; two sisters-in-law, Henrietta Ewen and Shirley Webb; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Vincentown United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Gough officiating.
Burial will be in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
There will be no calling hours.

TRENTON -- Luciana Marina Ovalle Ramirez, 47, died Wednesday at Capital Health System at Mercer hospital.
Born in Guatemala, she was an area resident several years.
Daughter of the late Edwardo Ovalle Santizo and Francisca Ramirez de Ovalle, she is survived by her husband, German of Trenton; a son, German Emanuel Vasquez-Ovalle Jr. of Trenton; two daughters, Deisy C. Vasquez-Ovalle of Trenton and Amelia of Princeton; her godparents, Julio and Omilia Estrada of Trenton; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral and burial will be in Guatemala.
Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, 990 S. Broad St., with the clergy of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cathedral officiating.
