Lois Jane Crim, 79, of Heritage House, Hackettstown, died Monday, July 30, in Hackettstown Community Hospital.
She was a homemaker.
Born Oct. 20, 1921, in Bronx, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Zella O. and Claire R. Frush Parks.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by a daughter, Roberta A. Hummel of Cockeysville, Md.; a sister, Ruth Schoolcraft of Charleston, W.Va.; and three grandchildren.
A son, Stephen; and two brothers, Jerrol and Arnold, all died earlier.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Heritage House community room, 681 Willow Grove St., Hackettstown. There will be no calling hours.
Burial will be private.
The Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, is in charge of arrangements.
Mary Hammerstone, with Easton Amvets

Mary F. Hammerstone, 82, of Easton died Monday, July 30, in her home.
Born Aug. 20, 1918, in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Kathleen Nixon.
She was a member of Amvet Post No. 17 in Easton.
Her husband, Harry, died in 1983.
She is survived by three sons, Carl of Easton, Harry of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Frank of Queens, N.Y.; two daughters, Rachel Free of Easton and Mary Hyman of Hollyridge, N.C.; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A son, Richard, died in 1993; and two sisters, Margaret Conover and Katherine Nuttal, also died earlier.
Graveside services will be held at 11:15 a.m. Thursday in Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn, N.Y. Call from 7 to 9 tonight in the Curran-Finegan Funeral Home, 1837 Washington Blvd., Wilson Borough.
Leon D. Helm, ran petting zoos

Leon D. Helm, 73, of Saylorsburg died Tuesday, July 31, in Easton Hospital.
He worked at Industrial Engraving in Forks Township for 30 years, retiring in 1990. Before that, he worked at Bethlehem Steel Corp. In retirement, he and his family ran pony rides and petting zoos at area events.
Born July 30, 1928, in Wilson Borough, he was a son of the late John B. and Dorothy S. Peters Helm.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Years ago, he enjoyed flying his bi-plane.
He and his wife, the former Jane Fromm, observed their 47th wedding anniversary June 19.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Craig A. of Saylorsburg; two daughters, Debbie A. MacQuirk of Gilbert, Pa., and Bonnie L. of Saylorsburg; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call from 10 a.m. Friday to time of services in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township.

Ellswoth Kirchner Sr., married for 65 years

Ellsworth P. Kirchner Sr., 91, of Allentown died Monday, July 30, in Westminster Village, Allentown.
He worked at the ingot mould foundry at Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 32 years, retiring in 1972.
Born Feb. 5, 1910, in Mountainville, Salisbury Township, he was a son of the late Fredrick and Sally Steltz Kirchner.
He was a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church in Allentown, where he served on the building committee and was a Bible class teacher.
He served in the Army in the 1930s.
He was a baseball coach for the Mountainville Memorial Little League, a member of the Mountainville Memorial Association and a life member of Mountainville Fire Co. No. 16.
He and his wife, the former Marian Tettemer, observed their 65th wedding anniversary Sept. 28.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Albert W. Sr. of Center Valley; a daughter, Elsie M. Schey of Allentown; a sister, Arlene Frisoli of Bethlehem; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A son, Ellsworth P. Jr., died earlier.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Sell-Herron Funeral Home, 1145 Lehigh St., Allentown. Call from 9:30 a.m. Thursday to time of services in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Western Salisbury Cemetery
in Allentown.

Lawrence R. Little

Mass for Lawrence R. Little, 76, a native of West New York, will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Our Lady of Visitation Church, Paramus. He died yesterday at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood.
Little lived in Paramus, and was a tool and die maker at Federal Pacific Electric Co., Newark, before he retired.
He was born in West New York. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are two daughters, Irene Verbist and Diane Mottola; and four grandchildren.
