Services for Murray Seidner, of Fort Lee, will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Gutterman-Musicant Funeral Home, Hackensack. He died yesterday at University Medical Center, Hackensack.
Seidner was born in New York City. He lived in Fort Lee for 43 years.
He worked at Academy Embroideries Inc., Fairview, for more than 50 years.
He served in the Navy on Okinawa during World War II.
He was a member of the Eastern Paralyzed Veterans Association and the 72nd Seabees Association.
Surviving are his wife, Myrna (Epstein); a daughter, Karen Small; a son, Dr. Michael; two sisters, Evelyn Linch and Rosalyn Roos; and four grandchildren, Jennifer and Benjamin Small and Ariel and Brett Seidner.

Mass for Richard T. Michalowski Sr., 82, formerly of Jersey City, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona. He died Sunday at Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge.
Michalowski was born in Jersey City and lived there until he moved to Verona in 1984.
He was an accountant at Western Electric Corp., Kearny, for 43 years. He retired in 1984.
He was a first lieutenant in the Army during World War II. He received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.
He graduated St. Peter's College, Jersey City, in 1953 with a bachelor of science degree in accounting.
He was a member of VFW Post 6255, Cedar Grove, and the Verona Senior Citizens.
Surviving are two sons, Richard T. Jr. and Dr. Donald; a daughter, Rosemary Joannidis; and five grandchildren.

Gilberto Hernandez

A Blessing for Gilberto Hernandez, 25, of Fairview, will be today at 2 p.m. at Jorge Rivera Funeral Home, North Bergen. He died Sunday at Palisades General Hospital, North Bergen.
Hernandez was born in Puerto Rico.
He was a security guard at Ignia Management Corp., Fort Lee.
Surviving are his father, Gilberto; his mother, Elba Quiles; a sister, Brenda Hernandez; and a brother, Kyle Reyes.
Ismael Figueroa

Services for Ismael Figueroa, 56, formerly of Jersey City, will be this morning at 9 at Funeraria Las Americas, Jersey City. He died last Tuesday at Lehey Clinic Hospital, Burlington, Mass.
Figueroa had lived in Cranston, R.I., for 20 years, and before that lived in Jersey City for 20 years.
He worked at Bill Carter's Lumber Co., Seekonk, Mass., before he retired.
Surviving are his wife, Minerva; two sons, Ismael Jr. and John; three daughters, Jessica, Erica and Zaida; and five grandchildren.
Janie Harris

Services for Janie Harris, 80, a resident of Jersey City for more than 60 years, will be this evening at 7 at Monumental Baptist Church, Jersey City. She died Wednesday at Meadowview Nursing Center, Secaucus.
Harris was born in South Carolina. She was a laborer at Sabrett's Meats.
Surviving are five cousins, Rosa B. and Patricia Williams, Lula Mae and Cleveland Ewell, and Viola Anderson.

Jean Tomczak

Mass for Jean (Rakowski) Tomczak, 89, of Jersey City, will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Jersey City. She died at home yesterday.
Tomczak was born in Bayonne. She lived in Jersey City for 60 years.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, Alan; and a sister, Betty Szymanski.
Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City, is in charge.
Julius Grunwerg

Services for Julius J. Grunwerg, 82, of Tenafly, will be at 2:15 p.m. tomorrow Riverside Cemetery, Rochelle Park. He died yesterday at County Manor Nursing Home, Teaneck.
Grunwerg was an embroidery manufacturer, operating Charles Grunwerg and Sons, Guttenberg, for 50 years. He retired in 1994.
He was a lieutenant in the Army during World War II.
He was president of the Embroidery Association in New Jersey and was a member of the Guttenberg Board of Education. He was a member of Jewish War Veterans, North Bergen.
He graduated summa cum laude from New York University in 1941 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
He was born in New York City, and lived in Tenafly for 48 years. He had previously lived in West New York and Guttenberg.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene (Enowitz); a son, Peter; a daughter, Laura Grunwerg; a brother, Frederick; a sister, Rita Hunter; and three grandchildren, Lauren, Caliey and Zackary.
