Arthur H. Shaw Sr.

A memorial service for Arthur H. Shaw Sr., 73, of Jersey City will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, in St. James Mausoleum, Florida Grove Road, Woodbridge. Arrangements are by the Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home, Kissimmee, Fla.
Mr. Shaw, who died July 24 in Osceola Regional Medical Center, Kissimmee, was employed as a tractor trailer driver, a junkman and an ironworker before retiring.
He also served in the Merchant Marine.
Born and raised in Jersey City, Mr. Shaw moved to Florida eight years ago.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Linda Redding, Dawn D. and Mrs. Dolores Beaton; sons, Arthur Jr. and Ken; brothers, Robert Shaw and John Pflug; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Helena Ruszala

A Mass for Mrs. Helena Ruszala, 71, of Irvington will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Irvington, after the funeral from the Parkway Wozniak Memorial Home of Clark, 211 Westfield Ave.
Mrs. Ruszala died Wednesday, July 25, in Poland at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maria Wisnewska.
Born in Poland, she settled in Irvington many years ago.
Also surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Marta Polej, and a son, Andrzej.
Annette M. Roselli

A Mass for Ms. Annette M. Roselli, 56, of West Orange will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Orange, after the funeral from the Paul Ippolito Memorial, Orange.
Ms. Roselli died Monday in the Hospital Center at Orange.
She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Orange for 25 years until 1994.
Ms. Roselli volunteered in the Mount Carmel Church office.
Born in Orange, she moved to West Orange several years ago.
Surviving are her father, Archie A.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Pizzi, and a brother, Dr. Anthony Roselli.
Burton A. Reeve, 55, was corrections officer

A Mass for Burton A. Reeve, 55, of Caldwell, a former Essex County corrections officer, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland. Arrangements are by the Farmer Funeral Home, Roseland.
Mr. Reeve, who died Sunday in St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, owned R and R Sweet Shop in West Caldwell since 1997. Mr. Reeve, earlier, was a lieutenant in the corrections department at the Essex County Jail Annex, serving for 24 years before retiring in 1995.
He was a graduate of William Paterson College in Wayne in 1979 with a degree in criminal justice.
Mr. Reeve was a former member of the Police Benevolent Association 157, the Superior Officers Association and the Fraternal Order of Police 720, all of Caldwell.
Born in Orange, he lived in East Orange, Verona and West Orange before moving to Caldwell 21 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn A.; daughters, Karen and Susan, and a sister, Peg.
Raymond W. Ralston Jr., accountant in New York City

A memorial service for Raymond W. Ralston Jr. of Jersey City will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chatham Township Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by the Brough Funeral Home, Summit.
Mr. Ralston, who died Thursday in St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, was a certified public accountant with the firm of O’Connor, Davies and Co. in New York City for 15 years.
He was a graduate of Lycoming College, Williamsport, Pa., and attended graduate school at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
Born in Evanston, Ill., Mr. Ralston lived in Summit before moving to Jersey City 25 years ago.
Surviving are his parents, Ellen and Raymond W. Ralston Sr., and a brother, Charles.
Patsy Paul

A Mass for Patsy Paul, 88, of Jacksonville, Fla., a former New Jersey resident, will be at 9 a.m. Friday in Mount Carmel Church, Orange, after the funeral from the Paul Ippolito Memorial, 252-256 Henry St., Orange.
Mr. Paul, who died Monday in Stirling House Nursing Home, Jacksonville, was a planter with W. Manda Nursery in Montclair for 67 years before retiring in 1993.
Born in East Orange, he lived in West Orange for 16 years before moving to Jacksonville three years ago.
Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Louise Polcaro, Mary Tennaro and Mrs. Lee Rekemier, and brothers, Clement and Michael Tennaro.
