Robert L. Hayden
Mr. Hayden, 69, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., died Feb. 8, 2007, at home. Born in Long Island, N.Y., he resided in Oceanport prior to relocating to Port St. Lucie 1 1/2 years ago. He was co-owner of T&T; Audio, Sea Bright, and the owner and operator of Hayco Inc., Oceanport. Prior to that, he was employed at New Jersey Bell. He was a former Captain of the Long Branch Fire Department, secretary of Oceanport Lions Club, and member of Oceanport Fire Police. He was also a certified observer for the National Game Fish Association. He enjoyed fishing, boating and woodworking. He was predeceased by a sister, Betty Ann Fritz. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jennie Cirigliano Hayden; three daughter, Mary Hayden, Jane Hayden and Laura Hayden, all of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and two sons, Bruce Hayden of Howell, and Keith Hayden of Piscataway. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End section of Long Branch. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Shirley "Lee" Moore LeValley
Mrs. LeValley, 72, of Shrewsbury, died Feb. 9, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center Red Bank. Born in Long Beach, Calif., she relocated to New Jersey at a young age, and resided in Shrewsbury for 46 years. She was a registered nurse, employed as a home health care nurse, retiring in 1999. Prior to that, she was employed at the office of Drs. Cureton, Acerra and Rothenberg, Shrewsbury, and Drs. Albert J. Kolarsick and Charles F. Paterno, Red Bank. She was a 46-year member of United Methodist Church, Red Bank. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert; three daughters and sons-in-law, Melodie and Russell Kerber of Burlington, Ky., and Laura and John Van Velthoven, and Suzanne and Thomas Sutton, all of Shrewsbury; and four grandchildren. A funeral service was held at United Methodist Church. Interment

William Raleigh Smith
Mr. Smith, 77, of Red Bank, died Jan. 29, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a chief petty officer, retired, U.S. Navy. He began his career in the Navy in 1946 stationed at the U.S. Naval Lighter, Lakehurst, assigned to hauling blimps that were landing. He served with the Navy during World War II and in both the Korean War and Vietnam War. His medals include the World War II Victory Medal, Korean Service Medal, Purple Heart, and American Defense Medal. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Joan A. Murphy Smith; two stepsons and wives, Jeffrey and Kathy Loder Murphy, and Kerry and Diane Murphy; a brother, Joseph J. Smith; and four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial

Ruth A. Patterson
Miss Patterson, 91, of Red Bank, died Jan. 5, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Red Bank, she was a lifelong resident. She was employed at Prudential Insurance Co., retiring in 1978. She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She volunteered at Riverview Medical Center for 20 years. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Robert E. and Eleanor F. Patterson; three nephews; a grandniece; and a grandnephew. A Mass of Christian Burial

Doris M. Burns Fleck
Mrs. Fleck, 82, of Union Beach, died Feb. 5, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Newark, she resided in Union Beach for 50 years. She was a dining room service attendant at Bell Labs, Holmdel, where she was employed 10 years. She was also a homemaker. She was a communicant of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach, and a member of its Altar Rosary Society. She was an avid bowler and bowled on several different leagues. Mrs. Fleck was predeceased by her husband, Arthur F. Fleck; a brother, George Burns; and a sister, Elizabeth Murphy. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Cathy Fleck of Hazlet; three daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and John Hill of Red Bank, Mary and Robert Drechsel of Maplewood, and Doris and John Kane of Middletown; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Lawrence E. White
Mr. White, 75, of Moneta, Va., died Jan. 23, 2007, at Rocky Mount Hospital, Virginia. Born in New York City, he resided in Red Bank, Middletown and Little Silver before moving to Moneta eight years ago. Mr. White served as president of the Red Bank YMCA for several years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Smith Mountain Lake Lions Club, Moneta, and was a former coach for River Plaza Lincroft Pop-Warner Football and River Plaza Little League Baseball. Mr. White is survived by his wife, Margaret; three sons, Clifford of Westfield, Ind., Brian of Wentzville, Mo., and Stuart of San Francisco; a daughter, Katharine White Mulvey of Middletown; a sister, Frances Knoerdel of Venetia, Pa.; and 10 grandchildren. A family memorial service will be held at Smith Mountain Lake, Moneta, Va., in July.
Warren G. Horré
Mr. Horré, 83, of Fair Haven, died Jan. 21, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was born and raised in Elizabeth. He was branch manager at Central Jersey Bank and Trust Co., Sea Bright, retiring in 1988. Prior to that, he was involved in the banking industry in New York City and New Jersey for several years. He served with the U.S. Air Force as a dive bomber pilot, and aboard the aircraft carrier USS Hornet CV-12 during World War II. He was a co-founder of the New Jersey Waterfowlers Association. An avid waterfowl hunter, he was a life member of Ducks Unlimited, and member of the Wayside Skeet Club. He was predeceased by a sister, Jacqueline. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lila; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Michael Slingluff of Florida, and Barbara and Dennis Headberg of Illinois; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Rose of Allenwood; two stepdaughters, Teri Bumber and her husband, Robert of Holmdel, and Pamela O'Connor of Florida; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Robert Glacken of Florida; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Dorothy S. Sweet Wrublewski
Mrs. Wrublewski, 76, of Palm City, Fla., and formerly Fair Haven, died Jan. 25, 2007, at home. Born in Linden, she resided in Fair Haven before relocating to Palm City 18 years ago. She was a supervisor at Fort Monmouth Federal Credit Union, Eatontown, for 10 years prior to retirement. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank J. Wrublewski; two daughter, Frances Smetana of Cary, N.C., and Mary Jane Wrublewski of Palm City, Fla.; a son, Andrew Wrublewski of Stuart, Fla.; a sister, Barbara Matusz of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; and four grandchildren. William R. Miller Jr.
Mr. Miller of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, died Jan. 28, 2007, at home. Born in Jersey City, he relocated to Port Monmouth in 1937. He was the owner and operator of Miller Drafting Service, and also worked for several architectural firms. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1943, and served aboard the Destroyer USS Collette DD730, and was honorably discharged. He was a 57-year Life member and former captain of the Port Monmouth Fire Company, and Life member and former chief of the Middletown Township Fire Department. He was also a member of the Bayshore Fire Chiefs Association, Mid-Monmouth Fire Chiefs Association, Fireman's Relief Association, International Association of Fire Chiefs, and Middletown Fire Police. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf. He was predeceased by three sisters, Dorothy Coleman, Mary Montgomery and Catherine Quackenbush; and a brother, John Martin. He is survived by his wife, Marie Robinson Miller; three sons and daughters-in-law, William R. and Judith Miller III of Fair Haven, Joseph and Kristen Miller of Point Pleasant Beach, and Michael and Corinne Miller of Matawan; a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Michael Scoles of Shark River Hills; two sisters, Gloria Scott and Ruth Junkelman; and 10 grandchildren. A funeral liturgy will be today at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, North Middletown. Burial
