Jr., Dr. Hermogens Ciocon, Elsa Seiton, Carmen Buck, Myla Azer, Sally Monteiro, Vicki Vonthron, Lu Limjoco, Marites Valderama, Brenda Manasala and Jennifer Pico, also survived by 22 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two daughters-in-law and nine sons-in-law. Funeral services Thursday at 10 a.m. in FLYNN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Bartholomew R.C. Church, East Brunswick. EDWARDS - Frederick H. Sr., of Clark, on Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Vera Edwards, devoted father of Mr. Frederick H. Edwards Jr. of Mendham and the late Mrs. Muriel Keenan, also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral services at The WALTER J. JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME, 803 Raritan Rd., Clark, on Friday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. FITZSIMMONS - J. Harold, 90, of Sparta, N.J., died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, beloved husband of the late Agnes Mary (Morris), loving father of Joseph, Frederick, Thomas and William, caring brother of Edyth Carr, also survived by 12 grandchildren. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday in Blessed Kateri Church, Sparta. Interment will follow in Sparta Cemetery. HARRISON - Martina J., of Carteret, on Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999, beloved wife of Mr. Benjamin Harrison, devoted mother of Mrs. Dolores Rekatsinas of Roselle, Mrs. Carol Linda Mueller of Plainfield and Mr. Joseph Mattos of Roselle Park, dear sister of Mrs. Helen Merlo of Westfield, Mrs. Cecelia DeMartino of Florida and Mrs. Katie Perello of Florida, also survived by 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. HAUSER - On Thursday, Aug. 12, 1999, Frederick Jr., son of the late Martha and Frederick Sr., went home be be with the Lord. He leaves his wife, Gloria Hauser, daughters, TaRoya Hauser and Daborah Boone, granddaughter, Starla Cherenfant, brothers, Jeffrey, Kevin and Edward Hauser and sister, Wendy Daniels, he is also survived by five sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, 10 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 19, 1999, 11 a.m. from The WOODY "HOME FOR SERVICES," 163 Oakwood Ave., Orange. Visitation Wednesday 6-9 p.m. Interment N.J. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.

HARRISTON - George E. Harriston, died on Aug. 11, 1999, at St. Barnabas Hospital. The cause was heart failure. Mr. Harriston was an English and Latin teacher in the Elizabeth and West Caldwell school systems for 37 years. He had been an advisor to the school newspaper at Caldwell and served as coordinator of foreign languages. A graduate of Montclair State College, he pursued graduate studies at Rutgers, Seton Hall and University of Minnesota. Mr. Harriston served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Orange Public Library. He also had been an adjunct professor at University College, Rutgers Newark for 20 years. He was a member of the New Jersey Education Association. Mr. Harriston served in the Army Transportation Corps during the Korean War. Born in Elizabeth, N.J., he lived in Newark, Orange, Montclair and Bloomfield during his professional life. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to College Scholarship Fund of James Caldwell High School, West Caldwell, N.J.

HARTL - Florance (nee Kaempf), passed away peacefully on Aug. 11, 1999, at the home of her devoted daughter, Susan Reichey, and loving son-in-law, Michael, in Tequesta, Florida. Born April 22, 1910, in Newark, N.J., the wife of the late Walter Hartl, she resided for many years in Avon-by-the-Sea, N.J., and then Spring Lake, N.J., until 1996, when she moved to Florida. She volunteered at Jersey Shore Medical Center for many years, was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church, Spring Lake, N.J., and was a former member of Spring Lake Golf Club, Spring Lake Bath and Tennis Club, Deal Golf and County Club and Canoe Brook Country Club. A private service of remembrance was held at the late resident on Aug. 12. Those planning an expression of sympathy in her name are asked to consider The Hospice of Martin and St. Lucie Inc., 2030 SW Ocean Blvd., Stuart, Fla. 34996, or a charity of your choice.

HEARD - On Thursday, Aug. 12, 1999, Doris, of West Orange, formerly of Newark, beloved grandmother of Tanja, Kenneth Jr. and Tommy Cox, dear sister of Lois Harmon, great-grandmother of Shanita Gordon, Keylaia and Linda Cox, mother-in-law of Ethel Cox. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1999, at 1 p.m. from The WOODY "HOME FOR SERVICES," 163 Oakwood Ave., Orange. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of services. Interment Fairmount Cemetery, Newark.
