Services for Miss Betty Shanahan, 74, of Edison will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen. Interment
will follow in Pequest Union Cemetery
in Great Meadows.
Miss Shanahan, who died Wednesday in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, was a telephone operator for Local 464 Meat Cutters Union in Little Falls for 35 years before retiring in 1989.
Born in Newark, she lived in Long Valley for many years before moving to Edison three years ago.
Surviving is a brother, Donald.
Patricia F. McCormack

A Mass for Mrs. Patricia F. McCormack, 54, of Vernon will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Francis de Sales Church, Vernon, after the funeral from the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon.
Mrs. McCormack, who died Wednesday at home, was an office manager.
She graduated from the Chubb Institute, Parsippany.
Born in New York City, Mrs. McCormack lived in Medford, N.Y. before moving to Vernon 23 years ago.
Surviving are her husband, Brian X., and daughters, Eileen and Kerry.
Frances C. Matson

A Mass for Mrs. Frances C. Matson, 64, of Toms River will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in Notre Dame Church, North Caldwell. Arrangements are by Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, Toms River.
Mrs. Matson, who died Wednesday in the Medical Center of Ocean County, Brick, was a bookkeeper for the Mountain Ridge Country Club in West Caldwell for 20 years before retiring last year.
Born in Kearny, she lived in North Arlington, West Caldwell and Roseland before moving to Holiday City at Silverton in Toms River last year.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Biase; a son, Joseph; her mother, Grace Bauer, and sisters, Geraldine Paganelli, Grace Pisano and Diane Milke.
Agnes P. Rear

Graveside services for Mrs. Agnes P. Rear, 91, of Washington Township will be at 11:30 a.m. today in Somerset Hills Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Arrangements are by the Cochran Funeral Home, Hackettstown.
Mrs. Rear, who died Tuesday in Heath Village, Washington Township, was a secretary with the Young Womens Christian Association, Summit, before retiring in 1970.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Camden.
Mrs. Rear was also a former member of the Learning for Life Program of the First Park Baptist Church, Plainfield, and a member of the bell choir and Martha Circle, both of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hackettstown.
Born in Camden, she lived in Millington, Tenafly and Ridgefield Park before moving to Washington Township in 1988.
Surviving are her husband, Leslie V.; a son, David G.; a daughter, Judith W. Irving; brothers, George and Herbert E. Parry, and two grandchildren.

SCRANTON, Pa. -- Services were held for Mrs. Helen T. Bourie of Scranton, a former New Jersey resident, who died Tuesday at home.
Mrs. Bourie was a bookkeeper for several physicians in Montclair, N.J., before retiring.
Born in Scranton, she lived in Verona, N.J., and Lakehurst, N.J., before returning to Scranton many years ago.
Surviving are a brother, Charles LeStrange, and sisters, Teresa Withers, Rita Mellody and Gertrude Neville.

Services for Mrs. Marie Todaro, 84, of Union will be at 7:30 oclock tomorrow evening in the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union.
Mrs. Todaro, who died Thursday in Overlook Hospital, Summit, was secretary/treasurer and past owner of Todaro and Sons Maintenance Company in Union.
A native of Newark, she moved to Union 58 years ago.
Surviving are a son, Ross; sisters, Sophia Mosejchuk and Rose Amey; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
