Carmel Katherine Lappino

A Memorial Mass for Mrs. Carmela Katherine Lappino, 87, of Newport, R.I., a native of Elizabeth, will be at 10:30 a.m. April 13 in St. Anthony's Church, Elizabeth.
Mrs. Lappino, who died March 14 in Village House, Newport, R.I., was a teachers aide in the Elizabeth public schools before retiring. Previously, she worked in the same capacity at St. Anthony's School.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, St. Ann's Society, the St. Joseph's Guild, the Senior Citizens in Peterstown and at St. Anthony's Church, all in New Jersey.
A native of Elizabeth, she lived in Newport for the past two years.
Surviving are Vincent James, her husband of 67 years; a daughter, V. Jean Stack-Yablonski; a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
Thelma Mae Cage

Mrs. Thelma Mae Cage, 71, of Roselle died Wednesday in Union Hospital. Arrangements are by the G.G. Woody Funeral Home, Roselle.
Mrs. Cage was a nurses assistant at Waterview Nursing Home in Cedar Grove for six years. Earlier, she worked at Western Electric, Kearny, and Picatinny Arsenal, Dover. She also had been a door-to-door sales representative for Watkins Products.
Born in Nathalie, Va., Mrs. Cage lived in Roselle for two years.
Surviving are her husband, James L. Sr.; daughters, Rosa Jean, Gwendolyn Henderson and Deborah C. Bailey; sons, Johnie, James L. and Cornell Cage and Charles Rasheed; a brother, Benjamin Hendricks; her stepmother, Louise Hendricks; a stepsister, Annie Barksdale; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mildred C. Bucco

A Mass for Miss Mildred C. Bucco, 77, of Bloomfield will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark, after the funeral from the Megaro Memorial Home, 503 Union Ave., Belleville.
Miss Bucco died Thursday in Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.
She was a music librarian for radio station WAAT, Newark, for eight years until 1958.
Born in Newark, she lived in Bloomfield for many years.
Surviving is a sister, Marietta E. Egnezzo.

TOWANDA, Pa. -- Services were held for Mrs. Mary Grippo, 88, of Laporte, a former Kenilworth, N.J., resident, who died here Wednesday in Memorial Hospital.
Arrangements were by the Sheldon Funeral Home in Laceyville.
Mrs. Grippo was born in Newark, N.J., and lived in Kenilworth and Wyalusing before moving to Laporte.
Surviving are sons, Dr. Allen E. Grippo and Anthony H.; a sister, Frances Wilson; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. -- Services were held for Mrs. Johnnie Swinson, 54, of Roselle, N.J., who died here Monday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Arrangements were by the LaGrange Mortuary, LaGrange.
Mrs. Swinson was born in Parkstown and moved to Roselle more than 35 years ago.
Surviving are sons, Vincent and Ivan; her mother, Juanita Jones; sisters, Brenda Watkins, Linda Jones, Glenda Jones, Bertha Davis, Evelyn Brown and Teresa Russell; brothers, Earl Miller, Lee A. Jones, Arthur L. Jones, Troy Joyner, Danny Joyner and Timothy Joyner, and five grandchildren.
Aimee Taylor

Services for Mrs. Aimee Taylor, 82, of Columbia will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Newbaker Funeral Home, Route 94, Blairstown.
Mrs. Taylor died Friday in Newton Memorial Hospital.
She and her late husband, Joseph, owned and operated Camp Taylor in Columbia for many years before retiring.
Born in Washington, Mrs. Taylor moved to Columbia in 1947.
Surviving are sons, James P., Joseph J. Jr., Clayton R. and Phillip W.; a brother, Henry Morris, and seven grandchildren.
