Mrs. Lena R. Szalecki, 79, of Secaucus died yesterday in Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center.
A Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City, after the funeral from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst.
Mrs. Szalecki was a cafeteria worker for Hudson Catholic High School in Jersey City before retiring.
Born in Jersey City, she moved to Secaucus last year.
Surviving are a daughter, Jo Ann DiGenova; sons, Edward R. Jr. and John David; a sister, Margaret Mazzeo, and two grandchildren.
Agnes Yarussi

A Blessing for Mrs. Agnes Yarussi, 86, of Beverly Hills, Fla., a former New Jersey resident, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Trinity Church, Westfield. Arrangements are by the Dooley Colonial Home, Westfield.
Mrs. Yarussi died Friday in the Woodland Terrace Nursing Home, Hernando, Fla.
She was a cafeteria worker with the Westfield Board of Education for 25 years before retiring several years ago.
Born in Rahway, she lived in Westfield for many years before moving to Beverly Hills 17 years ago.
Surviving are sons, Anthony and David; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Irene E. Roehm

Mrs. Irene E. Roehm, 80, of Union died yesterday in Theo House, Elizabeth.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union.
Mrs. Roehm was a member of the Union Senior Citizens Tuesday Club.
Born in Newark, she lived in Union for the past 44 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Janis J. Shulack; a son, Scott J., and three grandchildren.
Michael R. Prosicki

Michael R. Prosicki, 43, a lifelong Livingston resident, died yesterday at home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mount Pleasant Ave., Livingston.
Mr. Prosicki was a medical technician at Nations Healthcare, Livingston.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the North American Hunting Club and the N.J. Federation of Sportsmen.
Surviving are Bernerdita, his wife of five years; his father, Raymond Prosicki, and a brother, Daniel.
Genevieve Powaski

A Mass for Mrs. Genevieve Powaski, 78, of Spotswood will be at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday in Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood, after the funeral from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave., South River. Interment
will follow in Sts. Philip and James Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Mrs. Powaski, who died Saturday in St. Michael's Medical Center, Newark, was a member of the Spotswood Senior Citizens Club.
Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Spotswood since 1962.
Surviving are Frank J., her husband of 59 years; a son, Frank; a daughter, Diane Marie Tedesco; a brother, Matthew Ruzycke; a sister, Helen Hanbury, and three grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to the local chapter of the American Heart Association.

Paul A. Kaplan, 51, of Montclair died yesterday in Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin. Arrangements are by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
Mr. Kaplan was the caretaker for the Van Vleck Estate in Montclair.
He was a member of the Master Gardeners of New Jersey.
Born in Newark, he lived in West Orange and Verona before moving to Montclair five years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Mackenzie; his parents, Emanuel and Mildred Kaplan; a brother, Marc, and a sister, Carole Nemiroff.
