Services will be scheduled for Victor I. Tweer, 84, of Whiting, who died Sunday in Community Medical Center, Toms River.
Arrangements are by the Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals in Whiting.
Mr. Tweer was a mechanic for Gasner Motors in Montclair for 30 years before retiring in 1980.
He served in the Navy aboard PT boats during World War II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9503, Bayville. He was also a member of the Bayville Elks.
Born in New York City, Mr. Tweer lived in Bloomfield for 30 years and South Toms River for 25 years before moving to Whiting six months ago.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; a son, Warren; daughters, Susan Farrell and Lorraine Zaun; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Joseph J. Nicosia Sr.

A Mass for Joseph J. Nicosia Sr., 59, of Bloomfield will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
Mr. Nicosia, who died Sunday in Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, was a designer/draftsman for Orbital Engineering in Linden for two years. Previously, he worked for Exxon in Linden, Hoffmann-La Roche in Nutley and C.E. Lummus in Bloomfield.
Mr. Nicosia was a past president of the Political and Social Club in Belleville.
Born in Orange, he lived in Belleville before moving to Bloomfield 27 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Antoinette; sons, Vincent J., Joseph J. Jr. and Anthony M., and three grandchildren.
Gertrude Troiano

A Mass for Mrs. Gertrude Troiano, 86, of Venice, Fla., a former New Jersey resident, will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Englishtown, after the funeral from the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3337 Route 9, Old Bridge.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Mrs. Troiano, who died Saturday in Englewood Community Hospital, Englewood, Fla., was born in Jersey City and lived in Bayonne before moving to Venice six years ago.
Surviving are sons, James Troiano and Raymond and Robert Fritschy; daughters, Laurie Vanecek and Janet O'Rourke; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Arnold T. Lebbing

Memorial services for Arnold T. Lebbing, 88, of Somerset will be at noon Wednesday, April 3 in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cremation Services of Central New Jersey, East Brunswick.
Mr. Lebbing, who died Sunday in the Frances E. Parker Memorial Home, Piscataway, owned Lebbing's Garage in Highland Park for 15 years before retiring 12 years ago. Previously, he owned Lebbing's Esso Station in Edison for many years.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Born in Germany, he lived in Millville and Somerville before moving to Somerset.
Surviving are a son, Harold; daughters, Barbara and Lois; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Contributions to the Salvation Army, 287 Handy St., New Brunswick.

A memorial service for Lilwid Smith Jr., 53, a lifelong resident of Plainfield, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Rose of Sharon, 825 W. Seventh St., Plainfield.
Mr. Smith died Wednesday in Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center, Plainfield.
He was a program analyst at AT&T, New Brunswick, for 23 years. Previously, he had been employed with the Continental Can Co., Piscataway.
Mr. Smith received a bachelors degree from Wilberforce University, Wilberforce, Ohio.
He was a Little League baseball coach with the Plainfield Cardinals, Babe Ruth and The Pirates.
Surviving are his wife, Geraldine; a daughter, Angela Y. Finley; sons, Brian L. and Careem L.; sisters, Leslie J. Sylman, Wanda D. and Jeri L., and brothers, Dwain V. and Wayne D.

A Mass for Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, 94, of Piscataway will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Sacred Heart Church, Bloomfield, after the funeral from the Levandoski Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield.
Mrs. Smith, who died Sunday in St. Peters Medical Center, New Brunswick, was born in New York City and lived in Piscataway for most of her life.
Surviving are a son, William J.; a daughter, Marilyn Tobias; a sister, Mary Nazaroff; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
