SCRANTON, Pa. -- A Liturgy for Cyril J. Calpin of Oak Ridge, N.J. will be scheduled for St. Patricks Church here after the funeral from the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home, 1240 St. Ann St., Scranton.
Mr. Calpin, who died Monday at home, was an engineer with Becton Dickinson, Rutherford, N.J., for 25 years before retiring. Previously, he worked for Consolidated Molded Products, Scranton.
Born in Scranton, Mr. Calpin lived in Oak Ridge, N.J. since 1968.
Surviving are sons, Jerome, James, Patrick and Thomas; daughters, Judith Shah, Kathryn Van Dusen, Elizabeth Radcliffe and Margaret Lands; a brother, William; 26 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Adeline C. Hirner

Mrs. Adeline C. Hirner, 92, a lifelong resident of Fords, died Thursday, March 21, at home. Arrangements are by the Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown.
Mrs. Hirner worked for the N.J. Division of Unemployment before retiring.
She was a longtime member of the Danish Sisterhood and the Order of the Eastern Star, both of Fords.
Surviving are a daughter, Evon Pochinski, and a grandchild.

Joao Maria Matos

A Blessing for Joao Maria Matos, 64, of Harrison will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Holy Cross Church, Harrison, after the funeral from the Buyus Funeral Home, 426 Lafayette St., Newark.
Mr. Matos, who died Tuesday in West Hudson Hospital, Kearny, was a laborer with Kemsco Construction in Newark for seven years.
He was a member of the Heavy Construction Union Local 472 and the Sport Maritimo Murtoense, both in Newark.
Born in Murtosa, Portugal, Mr. Matos lived in Newark before moving to Harrison.
Surviving are his wife, Rosa; sons, John and Joe; brothers, Jose and Manuel, and two grandchildren.
Irene Goldberg

Graveside services for Mrs. Irene Berko Goldberg, 93, of Deerfield Beach, Fla., a former Livingston resident, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton. Arrangements are by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
Mrs. Goldberg died Sunday in the Lago Vista Nursing Center, Delray Beach, Fla.
She was a member of Hadassah Women in Palm Beach County, Fla., the Jewish Federation of Greater Miami, the National Council of Jewish Women and the Golden Seniors Club of Century Village in Deerfield Beach.
Born in New York City, Mrs. Goldberg lived in Livingston before moving to Florida in 1965.
Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Goldberg; a son, Bruce Berko; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Ethel Mitchell Craig

Mrs. Ethel Mitchell Craig, 97, of Piscataway died yesterday in Hartwyck at Cedarbrook Care Facility, Plainfield.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway.
Mrs. Craig was born in Kearny and lived in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., before moving to Piscataway 22 years ago.
Surviving are a son, Robert Mitchell; a daughter, Dorothy Pangiochi; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
John Henry

Services were private for John Henry, 86, of Iselin, who died Tuesday in the Haven Hospice of JFK Medical Center, Edison. Arrangements were by the Dooley Colonial Home, Westfield.
Mr. Henry was a data processor for Prudential Insurance Co., Newark, for 26 years before retiring in 1977.
From 1939 until 1945, he served with the British Navy as an instrument mechanic and was stationed in Norway, Italy and North Africa.
Mr. Henry was a member of the Corner Stone Masonic Lodge, Linden, and a volunteer at the Seamans Institute, Newark.
Born in Stirlingshire, Scotland, he lived in Newark and Elizabeth before moving to Iselin 20 years ago.
Surviving are two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
