Services for Mrs. Helen M. Bartron, 70, of Newton will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton.
Mrs. Bartron, who died Wednesday in Morristown Memorial Hospital, was an assembler for Thorlabs in Newton for six years before retiring in 1998.
Born in Sussex, she was a lifelong resident of Sussex County, most recently living in Newton.
Surviving are a son, Melvin Wayne Jr.; daughters, Deborah Rude, Helen Trinca and Patricia Wolfe; brothers, Ethan, Robert, Lyn and James Wright; sisters, Jean Richards, Melcena Crawn and Carol McNulty; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Elvira Cirrotti, 85, of New Providence died yesterday in Glenside Nursing Home, New Providence.
A Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Vincent de Paul Church, Stirling, after the funeral from the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights.
Mrs. Cirrotti was a seamstress from 1955 to 1960 with the Alpine Coat & Suit Co., Manhattan, a company owned and operated by her late husband, Michael.
She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, New York City.
Born in Brooklyn, Mrs. Cirrotti lived in Florida and Stirling before moving to New Providence two years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol Weber; a son, Louis; brothers, George, Armand and Dominick Russano; sisters, Gloria Stephens and Phyllis Carmin; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Mass for Mrs. Lucy DeFrancesco, 89, a lifelong resident of Scotch Plains, will be at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church, Scotch Plains, after the funeral from The Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave., Scotch Plains.
Mrs. DeFrancesco died Tuesday at home.
She was a member of the St. Bartholomew Rosary Altar Society and the Catholic Golden Agers.
Mrs. DeFrancesco was a member of the Italian-American Club, the St. Nicholas Womens Auxiliary of Scotch Plains and the Intimates Womens Club of Scotch Plains.
Surviving are daughters, Beverly Geddis and Shirley Iovino; a brother, Philip Ferrara; sisters, Clara Ferrara, Josephine Beaty, Laura Shockey and Jean Waldron; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Mass for Stephen Galajda, 76, of Somerville will be at 9 a.m. Monday in Holy Trinity Church, Bridgewater, after the funeral from the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville.
Mr. Galajda, who died Thursday in Somerset Medical Center, Somerville, worked in automotive production for General Motors in Linden for 36 years before retiring in 1989.
He served in the Army from 1950 to 1953.
Born in Treskow, Pa., he lived in Somerville for 34 years.
Surviving are Ingeborg, his wife of 48 years; a son, Stephen M. Galayda; a daughter, Lila Firley; a brother, John; a sister, Anna Kohutich, and two grandchildren.

BEAVER DAM, Wis. -- Mrs. Marjorie Alpaugh, 80, of Beaver Dam, a former New Jersey resident, died here Monday in the Beaver Dam Care Center. Arrangements are by Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.
Mrs. Alpaugh was a secretary with Alpaugh Advertising, Westwood, N.J., and Cranford, N.J., a company owned and operated by her late husband, Lawrence, for many years before retiring.
She was a treasurer and reading room volunteer at Christian Science Church, Westfield, N.J.
Born in Hoboken, N.J., she lived in Teaneck, N.J., Westwood, Cranford and Toms River, N.J., before moving to Beaver Dam in 1998.
Surviving is a daughter, Diane.

WARWICK, R.I. -- Services for David E. Brandkamp, 61, of East Greenwich, formerly of New Jersey, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Russell J. Boyle & Sons Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., here.
Mr. Brandkamp, who died Wednesday in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, worked as a real estate broker for more than 30 years, most recently with Residential Properties, Ltd., in East Greenwich.
He served in the Navy during peacetime.
Born in Crawfordsville, Ind., he lived in Indianapolis and Budd Lake, N.J. for 16 years before moving to East Greenwich five years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Pat; a son, David E. II; a daughter, Teresa; a brother, Robert; a sister, Margaret Michael, and two grandchildren.
