A Mass for Mrs. Anna Brigandi, 78, of Ridgefield will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in St. Matthews Church, Ridgefield. Arrangements are by the Blackley Funeral Home, Ridgefield.
Mrs. Brigandi, who died Sunday in Bristol Manor Health Care Center, Rochelle Park, N.Y., was a member of the Ridgefield Senior Citizens and the Lake Hopatcong Seniors.
Born in Newport News, Va., she lived in Ridgefield since 1968. She also maintained a residence in Lake Hopatcong.
Surviving are sons, Donald, Robert and John; a sister, Josephine Lombardi; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Emma Beatrice

Mrs. Emma Beatrice, 87, of Berkeley Heights died yesterday in Runnell's Specialized Hospital, Berkeley Heights.
A Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Little Flower Church, Berkeley Heights, after the funeral from the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights.
Mrs. Beatrice was a vault attendant at the Summit & Elizabeth Trust Co., New Providence, for 16 years before retiring in 1981.
She was also an Avon sales representative for 35 years until 1995, and served as a Presidents Club salesperson for 16 years. Mrs. Beatrice was also a member of the Avon Honor Society.
She was a member, chairwoman and treasurer with the Senior Citizens Club and a member of the Four Seasons Garden Club, both of Berkeley Heights.
Born in New York City, Mrs. Beatrice lived in Chatham before moving to Berkeley Heights 52 years ago.
Surviving are daughters, Rosemarie Gordon and Karen L. Drew; sons, Theodore and Anthony; a sister, Helen Ferratti; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Kathleen M. Vail, 67, of Brick will be at 8 o'clock tomorrow evening in the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Rd., Brick.
Mrs. Vail, who died Sunday in Brick Hospital, was a clerk at Rite-Aid, Point Pleasant Beach, for five years.
Born in Pennsylvania, she lived in Oregon and Point Pleasant Beach before moving to Brick 20 years ago.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth J.; a daughter, Deborah Mattos; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
George F. Richards, 89, Bell Labs employee 49 years

WILLOW STREET, Pa. -- Services were private for George F. Richards, 89, of Lancaster, a former resident of Summit, N.J., who died here June 25 in Lakeside at Willow Valley.
An employee of Bell Laboratories in New York City and Murray Hill, N.J., for 49 years, Mr. Richards began his career with the company at the age of 16 as a messenger. He retired in 1977 as a technical associate in semi-conductor processing, specializing in transistors.
After retiring, Mr. Richards worked in the laboratories at Drew University, Madison, N.J., where he assisted with the construction and installation of a perpetual clock in the university's Bell Tower of Brothers College.
He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and an advisor in the investment club at Bell Labs.
Born in New York City, Mr. Richards lived in Summit before moving to Lancaster in 1987.
Rolf Schroeder

Services for Rolf Schroeder, 74, of Lyons will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union.
Mr. Schroeder died Sunday in the Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care Center at Lyons.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was past commander of the Thomas Kepp Memorial Post Veterans of Foreign War Post 5455 of West Orange and life-member of the Disabled American Veterans Post 55 of Hillside. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 190 of Orange and past exalted ruler of the Elks Lodge 21 of Newark-Bloomfield.
Born in East Orange, he lived in Hillside before moving to Lyons four years ago.
Stephen A. Scirdinsky

Services for Stephen A. Scirdinsky, 87, of Toms River will be at 8:30 o'clock Thursday evening in the DeGraff Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst.
Mr. Scirdinsky, who died Saturday at home, was employed with the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Toms River, for 10 years. He was also a foundry maker with the Worthington Pump Corp., Harrison, for many years.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., he lived in Harrison and Newark before moving to Toms River 29 years ago.
Surviving are a son, Stephen C.; daughters, Elizabeth Comnos, Mary Scirdinsky and Patricia Koehler; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
