Services for Mrs. Cecelia R. Jones, 72, of Chesilhurst will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the James E. Churchman Jr. Funeral Home, 345 13th Ave., Newark.
Mrs. Jones died Monday in the Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Stratford.
A foster mother since 1976, she cared for 75 foster children.
She was a member of the auxiliary of the American Legion Post 473 of Camden.
Born in Newark, she lived in Chesilhurst since 1998.
Surviving are her husband, Theodore; sons, Roy, Steve and Kevin Kenney and Theodore Walter Jones; daughters, Clarisse Kenney and Rasheeda and Jacquelin Jones; a sister, Gloria Sterling; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rev. Charles H. Hayes, minister, teacher, coach, insurance agent

Services for Reverend Charles H. Hayes, 57, of East Orange will be at 1 p.m. today in the Philemon Baptist Church, Newark. Arrangements are by the Whigham Funeral Home, Newark.
Rev. Hayes, who died Saturday in Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, founded Faithful Christian Ministries in Newark in 1999 and was president and chief executive officer of the C.J. Insurance Agency in Newark for the past 11 years.
Rev. Hayes had also worked for the Newark school system as a teacher at the Hawthorne Avenue School and Weequahic High School, serving on the football coaching staff at Weequahic for seven years. From 1979 to 1991, he was an insurance agent for Equitable Life, Mutual of Omaha and Occidental Life Insurance Co., all of Newark.
After graduating from Weber State University in Utah, he played professional football as an offensive guard for the St. Louis Cardinals and was also an offensive guard for the Connecticut Jets and in the Football League of Texas.
He served in the Marines during the Vietnam War.
Born in East Liverpool, Ohio, Rev. Hayes lived in East Orange for many years.
Surviving are Sandy, his wife of 22 years; a son, Darryl; his mother, Alice Hayes; a sister, Deborah McDonald, and a grandchild.
Irene Girau

Services for Mrs. Irene Girau, 77, of Newark will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington. Arrangements are by the Prout Funeral Home, Verona.
Mrs. Girau, who died Sunday at home, was a garment worker in Puerto Rico, Brooklyn and Newark before retiring.
Born in Puerto Rico, she lived in Brooklyn before moving to Newark in 1960.
Surviving are daughters, Gloria Perez and Rosa Fatzler; a son, Jose Perez; a sister, Maria Ortiz; two brothers and two sisters in Puerto Rico; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Margaret P. Erickson

Mrs. Margaret P. Erickson, 82, of Brookside in Mendham Township died Sunday at home.
Arrangements are by the Doyle Funeral Home, Morristown.
Mrs. Erickson was a member of the Spring Brook Country Club, Morristown, where she belonged to the 18 Hole-ers for more than 40 years.
Born in Nyack, N.Y., she moved to Brookside in 1971.
Surviving are daughters, Sue Ann Jones and Judith M. Chevance; a son, Jon W., and seven grandchildren.
Edward T. Carley Jr.

A Mass for Edward T. Carley Jr., 70, of the Broadway section of Franklin Township, Warren County, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Church, 200 W. Carlton Ave., Washington. Arrangements are by DeVoe Funeral Home, Washington.
Mr. Carley, who died Monday at home, co-owned the Stewart's Root Beer Stand in Washington with his wife, Patricia, for the past 25 years.
Born in Cairo, N.Y., he lived Dumont, Bridgewater and Bergen County before moving to Broadway 25 years ago.
Mr. Carley is also survived by sons, Edward III and Timothy; daughters, Diane, Nancy Wester, Susan and Patricia Kozelnik; a sister, Frances Hanna, and seven grandchildren.
Daniel F. Randolph, 78, Chubb executive, WWII pilot

GLEN ALLEN, Va. -- Services for Daniel F. Randolph, 78, of Glen Allen, a native of New Jersey, will be here at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 4825 Pouncey Tract Rd.
Arrangements are by the Woody Funeral Home, Richmond.
Mr. Randolph, who died Monday in Heinrico Doctors Hospital, Richmond, was a senior vice president and worldwide manager of the surety department at Chubb and Sons in New Jersey before retiring in 1988.
He was a pilot in the Army Air Corps during World War II with the 365 Bomb Squadron and attained the rank of captain.
Mr. Randolph was a volunteer at the Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center, Plainfield, N.J., for many years.
Born in Plainfield, N.J., Mr. Randolph lived in Scotch Plains, N.J., before moving to Glen Allen a few years ago.
Surviving are Jeanne S., his wife of 59 years; a sister, Barbara; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
