Mrs. Theresa C. Hayes, 74, of Monroe Township died yesterday in Morristown Memorial Hospital.
A Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Corpus Christi Church, South River, after the funeral from The Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Mrs. Hayes was an administrator with Rutgers University, New Brunswick, for 18 years before retiring in 1983.
She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Corpus Christi Church.
Born in New York City, she lived in South River for 35 years before moving to Monroe Township three years ago.
Surviving are daughters, Susan Brzozowski and Laura Hayes; a sister, Rosemarie Papan, and three grandchildren.

A Mass for Mrs. Mary F. Nealis, 80, of Jackson Township will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John Church, 1282 Allentown-Yardville Rd., Allentown. Arrangements are by Peppler Funeral Home, Cranbury.
Mrs. Nealis died Tuesday in the Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood.
A registered nurse, she most recently worked at Ft. Lauderdale Medical Group in Florida before retiring 43 years ago.
Born in Beacon, N.Y., she lived in Matawan for 34 years, Florida for 18 years and Rossmoor before moving to Jackson Township.
Surviving are sons, Richard and Neil; daughters, Sharon Rosen, Susan Root, Diane Swanekamp, Dawne Trause and Robin Casper; a brother, John O'Donnell; sisters, Margaret Provost, Alice Murphy, Anna Mae Handley and Joan Johnan, and 12 grandchildren.

A Mass for Newton P. Policastro, 86, of Roselle will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Church of St. Joseph the Carpenter, Roselle, after the funeral from the Sullivan Funeral Home, 146 E. Second Ave., Roselle.
Mr. Policastro died Tuesday in the Cranford Hall Nursing Home, Cranford.
He was a factory worker for Union Steel in Union for many years before retiring in 1979. Previously, he worked for Sun Tube of Hillside.
Mr. Policastro was a member of the Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Newark.
Born in Newark, he lived in Bradenton, Fla., before moving to Roselle three years ago.
Surviving are a son, James; a daughter, Sister Beverly Policastro, S.C., and a grandchild.
John J. Koch of Cedar Grove, model train buff, sales manager

A Mass for John J. Koch of Cedar Grove will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Cassian's Church, Upper Montclair, after the funeral from Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave.
Mr. Koch, who died Monday at home, dealt in model trains through his company, Koch, Inc. Previously, he was a sales manager for Kohler Meats, Newark, for many years before retiring in 1983.
He received a bachelors degree in business administration from Brooklyn College.
Mr. Koch served in the Army Reserve.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Mount Vernon, N.Y., before moving to Cedar Grove in 1976.
Surviving are his wife, Evanne, and a sister, Barbara Motta.
James J. Byrnes, 70, owner of charter bus company, Army veteran

A memorial service for James J. Byrnes, 70, of Tinton Falls will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, in the Luther Memorial Church, 818 Tinton Ave., Tinton Falls.
Mr. Byrnes, who died Friday at home, was the owner and president of America Direct Charter in Eatontown for the past four years. Previously, he was president of White Bus Transportation Associates, East Orange. He was also the director of charter and sales for Short Line Bus Co. and Leisure Line Tours, both of Mahwah.
Mr. Byrnes was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Born in New York City, Mr. Byrnes lived in Monroe, N.Y., before moving to Tinton Falls 13 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Elaine; a son, Drew; daughters, Kim Gaydos and Donna; a sister, Katherine Kelly, and three grandchildren.

A Mass for Mrs. Thelma D. Caroselli, 79, of Manchester will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in St. Johns Church, Lakehurst. Arrangements are by Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, Manchester.
Mrs. Caroselli died Monday in Community Medical Center, Toms River.
She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society at Holy Family Church and the Holy Family School PTA, both of Nutley. She was also active in the Leisure Village West Chapter of Deborah and the Tennis Club at Leisure Village West, both of Manchester.
Born in Jersey City, she lived in Belleville and Connecticut before moving to Manchester 20 years ago.
Surviving are Philip J., her husband of 56 years; daughters, Elvira Flanders and Phyllis Moll; brothers, Frank and Albert Mezle; sisters, Millie DeStefano, Evelyn Carr and Dolores DeBruno, and four grandchildren.
