Mrs. Patricia Ann Gulich, 70, of Clifton died yesterday in the Hospice of New Jersey, Wayne.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Church, Lopez, Pa., after the funeral from the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
Mrs. Gulich was bestowed the Gramota by the Holy Synod for her good works for God.
Born in New York city, she lived in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., before moving to Clifton many years ago.
Surviving are Michael, her husband of 51 years; sons, Eugene and William; a sister, Marion Thoman, and six grandchildren.

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A Mass was held for Louis N. Giordano, 82, of Niagara Falls, a former New Jersey resident, who died here June 24 in the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Mr. Giordano, was a custodian with the Newark (N.J.) public school system for 25 years before retiring in 1974.
He served as a gunner in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the European, African and Middle Eastern theaters.
Born in Niagara Falls, he lived in New Jersey before returning to Niagara Falls more than 20 years ago.
Surviving are Stella, his wife of 26 years; a son, Louis N. Jr.; a daughter, Michelle; a brother, Dominic; stepdaughters, Susan McConnell, Michele Schnieder and Janis Virtue, and a stepson, Michael Celi, Jr.

A Mass for Mrs. Elsie A. Tortorella, 88, of Verona will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona, after the funeral from the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Ave., Verona.
Mrs. Tortorella died Thursday in the Little Nursing Home, Montclair, N.J.
She and her late husband, Patrick, owned and operated East Orange Sporting Goods for 35 years before retiring in 1994.
Born in Bloomfield, Mrs. Tortorella lived in East Orange before moving to Verona in 1983.
Surviving are a son, Paul; a sister, Mary Caprio; brothers, Don and Dean Cetrulo, and four grandchildren.

Frederick L. Thatcher, 86, of Roselle Park died yesterday in the ManorCare Health Care Center, Mountainside.
A Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Church of the Assumption, Roselle Park, after the funeral from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park.
Mr. Thatcher was a brakeman, conductor and yardmaster for the Pennsylvania Railroad in Newark, where he worked for 35 years before retiring in 1978.
A member of the Holy Name Society at the Church of the Assumption, he served as the society's president in 1986. He was also a head usher at the church, the chairman of the Archbishops Annual Appeal, a member of the parish council, the chairman of the church's annual boxing show and a Confraternity of Christian Doctrine instructor at the church.
Mr. Thatcher was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 3240, Roselle Park, and served as past grand knight from 1984 until 1985. He was also a member of the Father McVeigh Council 4186, Knights of Columbus, Kenilworth.
He was a member of the John Dawson Gilmary Shea Assembly, 4th degree, in Elizabeth, the Vailsburg Lions Club in Newark, and the David Brearley Athletic Booster Club in Kenilworth.
Mr. Thatcher was also a member of the Retired Associates and the Senior Citizens both of Roselle Park.
Born in Newark, he lived in Maplewood and Irvington before moving to Roselle Park 20 years ago.
Surviving are a son, Lawrence F.; daughters, Patricia Kopyta and Kathleen Neumann; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Richard McCallum, postal inspector

A Mass for Richard T. McCallum of Lakewood will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Dominic's Church, Brick. Arrangements are by the D'Eliza Funeral Home, Lakewood.
Mr. McCallum, who died Friday in Brick Hospital, worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Jersey City for 39 years. He began in 1939 as a letter carrier and retired as a postal inspector.
Mr. McCallum was a member for 66 years of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Washington, D.C. He was also a president of the New Jersey Letter Carriers Association and a member of the Retired Postal Inspectors Association.
Mr. McCallum was the chairman of the Jersey City Redevelopment Agency. He was also a 45-year member of the Frank Krug Association in Newark and a member of the Elks Lodge, Middletown.
Born in Jersey City, he lived in Middletown before moving to Lakewood in 1996.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara; sons, Alfred and Joseph Wonesh and Richard R.; daughters, Patricia Kidney, Barbara Deiter, Judy Heck, Laurie Brown, Joy Wink and Elizabeth Nies; 27 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

A Mass for Mrs. Loretta E. O'Rourke, 87, of Nutley will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Church, Nutley, after the funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
Mrs. O'Rourke, who died Friday in the home of her son, Owen J. of Clifton, was an assembler with the Westinghouse Corp. in Belleville for 20 years before retiring 27 years ago.
She was a member of the Golden Age Club of Nutley.
Born in Newark, she lived in Belleville before moving to Nutley 60 years ago.
Also surviving are a daughter, Lauretta A. Britton; another son, Patrick E.; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
