Kathryn Bailey Cadmus Hollywood, age 90
Kathryn Bailey Cadmus Hollywood, age 90, died Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born on her grandparents' farm in the Fresh Ponds section of South Brunswick Township on March 24, 1923, Kathryn lived in that area for most of her life before moving to Monroe Township six years ago. Kathryn was the daughter of the late Russell and Esther Beekman Cadmus. Kathryn graduated from Jamesburg High School in 1940 and soon went to work as a drill press operator at the General Motors plant in Linden making FM-2 Wildcats, WWII airplanes, until she enlisted in the Women's Army Corp (WAC) where she served as a surgical technician. Stationed at what was then Halloran General Hospital, Staten Island, NY, she met a patient, her future husband, Al Hollywood. Kathryn retired from South Brunswick Public Schools where she was the "milk lady" at Deans School for many years. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 401 in South Brunswick serving twice as president. As a veteran, she was also a member of the American Legion Post 401. Kathryn served as Middlesex County American Legion Auxiliary President twice, as well as other county and unit offices. She was Past-president of the Cranbury Golden Age Neighbors, a member of the South Brunswick Golden Age Club and the Middlesex County American Legion Past Presidents Parlay. Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Barbara with whom she lived, her son Bill and his wife Linda, son Tom and his wife Anne-Marie, granddaughters Alex and Sarah, grandson Doug, sister Joan Hoelzer, sister-in-law Jeanne Cadmus and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Alfred Denham Hollywood, son Jack Cadmus Hollywood, brother Russell Cadmus and her dear friend Clark Rupp. Visitation will be Saturday, November 2, 2013, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township. Burial

Mary E. Gerber, 93, of Princeton, died Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Pavilions at Forrestal Skilled Nursing Center. Born in Ithan, PA she was a resident of Princeton since 1925. She was a graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1939. She was a member of the US Army WAC'S during WWII. Upon leaving the service, she was Judge Gerber's legal secretary for three years.
Agnes T. Norton, 84
Agnes T. Norton, 84, of Monmouth Junction died Friday, October 25, 2013 at Foothill Acres Nursing Center of Hillsborough. Born in South Brunswick, she was a lifelong Monmouth Junction and Deans resident. A graduate of then Jamesburg High School, Agnes retired from the Home News Tribune Book Keeping/Administrative staff. She was an avid gardener, loved her family, birds and all animals. Her family was her pride and priority as well as her devotion to the town she spent her whole life living in. Dedicated to the events of the day and keenly interested in the success of the South Brunswick and Rutgers Football teams. Family members often compared "Ag" to the famed actress Betty White for her youthful approach to life and her common but sharp sense of humor. Daughter of the late Stanley and Florence (Wolf) Rudman, wife of the late John J. Norton, sister of the late Augusta "Bunnie" Hajek, she is survived by 2 brothers-in-law Michael M. Hajek, Jr. now residing in Cape May and Percy Norton of Monmouth Junction. Additionally a sister-in-law Rosania "Betty" Norton also of Monmouth Junction. Agnes is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins throughout Central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. A Mass of Christian Burial

Denise James, 70
Denise James, 70, passed away this Friday, October 25, 2013 at 1:42 AM at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was born in 1943 in Cairo, Egypt to Rosine and Marc Cohen, raised in Haifa, Israel and resided with her family in 13 countries. She lived a full and wonderful life, leaving her mark of kindness on all those she encountered. She leaves her husband of 53 years, Henry James and their three children Guy, Ronit and Roy James, along with her son and daughter-in-laws Beth, Ron and Karen and nine grandchildren, Natalie, Nicole, Brandon, Kyle, Michelle, Hannah, Ben, Alexandra and Tyler. Marianne Edwards Lewis
Marianne Edwards Lewis, a long time resident of Princeton, died peacefully in her home October 20th after a long illness, surrounded by the peole who loved her. Mrs. Lewis was born in Bronxville, N. Y. in September 1929. She sometimes joked that it was her birth that caused the stock market to crash. She graduated Connecticut College for Women in 1951, Phi Beta Kappa. She had married
William Kent Stimson before the beginning of her senior year, her parents feared she would not finish college, so she proved them wrong by getting flawless grades. A second May December marriage to Maxwell Lewis ended in divorce, but their household was filled with laughter. Marianne leaves behind four children, Beth, Tom, Richard, and Charles as well as their partners and four grandchildren and great grand children. She will be remembered for her quick wit, her love of travel, and of course, her first bulldog, Darling Timmy. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 2nd at 1PM at The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, 2688 Main St. (Rt. 206) Lawrenceville, N. J. Louise E. Connolly, 97, of Penns Neck in West Windsor Township died Tuesday, October 30, 2013 at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Trenton, Louise was a resident of Penns neck for most of her life and a lifelong member of the Princeton Baptist Church of Penns Neck. She was a graduate of Princeton High School, class of 1934. She attended Douglass College and graduated from Rider College in 1938. Louise was employed at Walker Gordon in Plainsboro and RCA Sarnoff Center in Penns Neck. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Ida Engelke and the loving wife of the late William Connolly. She was also predeceased by her son Robert Connolly, her sister Esther Engelke and her grandson William Parris. She is survived by her daughter Susan Parris and son-in-law David Parris, grandsons Daniel Parris and Timothy Parris and his companion Amy Pacheco, all of west Windsor. Kenneth C. Kruscial, 62,
Kenneth C. Kruscial, 62, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Somerset Medical Center with his loving family at his side. Born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Frank and Helen (Witkowski) Kruscial. His family resided in Greenpoint, NY until moving to Manville in 1963. Kenneth served our country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as an SP4 with the Military Police. Ken always appreciated a good meal in the company of close friends. He also loved cooking his favorite Polish dishes for others to enjoy. Ken will be deeply missed by his brother Frank and wife Debbie of Hillsborough and their loving family. Joseph E. Sickels, 83
During his career he had worked for Ameican Bridge, Rockwell Manufacturing Company in Hopewell and Princeton University's Forrestal Campus. He was former President of the Pennington Volunteer Fire Company and a member of the NJ National Guard. He coached competitive travel soccer teams for many years. He was an avid pigeon flyer and he loved the outdoors, particularly the Pine Barrens, where he seemed to know every inch of the area. His other interests included local history, canoeing, fishing, gardening, baseball, fishing and soccer. He took a year off from his work to build his home in Pennington in 1958 He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jocelyn (Stout) Sickels and two daughters and their husbands, Cathy Fortenbaugh and Peter McGrath, Margie and Paul Pomerantz and two sons and their wives, Chris and Karen Sickels and Jonathan and Renee Sickels and elevengrandchildren, Patrick and Sean Fortenbaugh, Donald and Robin McGrath, Mark, Jessica and Michael Pomerantz and Henry, Alex, Parker and Lauren Sickels and two great grandchildren, Kyle and Katelyn Barth. In addition, he is survived by his sister Mary W. Hundley and many nieces, nephews and good friends. Blanche Mae Archer, 90
Blanche Mae Archer, May 25, 1923 - October 5, 2013. Blanche, 90, died peacefully at her home in Emerald Isle, NC. Born in Palmyra, NJ, she graduated from Bordentown High. There she met the love of her life, Stanley Archer. Together, they owned Archer Insurance Agency and were members of Trinity United Methodist Church of Bordentown. After retiring they moved to NC. Blanche loved to be surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You could always see the sparkle in her eye when she spoke of their latest accomplishments or showed pictures from her copious photo albums. Blanche was surrounded by friends. Her home was always open. Whether playing old movies, listening to favorite crooners, or plowing through boxes of books, she always had time to sit, chat and share a cookie or two! Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley and daughter, Kim. She is survived by her son Bruce (wife, Evelyn), daughter Sally (husband, Alan Waterman), son D avid (wife, Becky), son-in-law Sean Rooney, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Margaret Childs Armstrong, 87
Margaret Childs Armstrong, 87, died at home on October 30, after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was a graduate of Princeton High School, where she won several academic prizes and was voted by her classmates "Most Attractive" and "The Girl Most Likely to Succeed." At Wellesley College, she was a Political Science major, and during World War II she spent her summers and vacation periods in Washington, DC, working at the Library of Congress and for the War Production Board. As a young girl Margie was very involved in the theater. Her high school performance as Emily in "Our Town" was talked about for years afterward. She played the part of Blossom in McCarter Theatre's premiere production of "Susan and God, " with Ilka Chase. She also was in the chorus of McCarter's history-making premier of Shakespeare's "Othello, " starring Paul Robeson. In January, 1948, Margie married
Richard Stoll Armstrong (Princeton '46) and together they embarked on his exciting career as a baseball front office executive. When Dick resigned from the Baltimore Orioles to enter Princeton Theological Seminary, Margie devoted herself to joining her husband in his new calling. On Pearl Harbor Day, December 7, 1941, Margie joined First (now Nassau) Presbyterian Church of Princeton, where she remained a member, except for periods when she identified with the churches where her husband was serving as pastor. In addition to her devoted husband of nearly 66 years, Margie is survived by four children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Friends may visit the family at Princeton Windrows, 2000 College Road West (609-514-0001) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2. Loulie Estill-O'Nan, 78, of Princeton died Friday, October 25, 2013 at home in her sleep after a 15 year struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Born in Indianapolis, IN, she was a long time resident of Princeton. She was an art teacher at Maurice Hawk Elementary School in West Windsor. Daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Cummings) Estill, granddaughter of the late Frank Sexton Estill, former President of Sam Houston State Teachers College of Huntsville, Texas, she is survived by her husband of 32 years Michael E. O'Nan of Princeton, a sister-in-law Pat Estill of Connecticut, and two nephews Andrew Estill of Chicago and Scott Estill of CT, and many cousins.
