A Mass for Mrs. Margaret Peyton, 89, of Great Falls, Va., a former New Jersey resident, will be offered at 10:45 a.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Burial will be at the Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Arrangements are by the Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
Mrs. Peyton died Sunday in Reston, Va.
Born in Ireland, she lived in Old Bridge before moving to Virginia 20 years ago.
Surviving are a son, Thomas; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret M. Costello; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pasquale Principe

Pasquale Principe, 86, of Bloomfield died yesterday in the St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston.
A Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Church, Bloomfield. Arrangements are by the Caggiano Memorial, Montclair.
Mr. Principe owned Pat’s Quality Market in Bloomfield for 50 years before retiring 14 years ago.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Born in Newark, Mr. Principe moved to Bloomfield 30 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Barbara Heiser; a stepson, Patrick Curran; a sister, Mrs. Florence Dahringer, and two brothers, Frank and Thomas.
Arnold C. Ramsland

Services for Arnold C. Ramsland, 80, of Whiting, a school administrator, will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in the Calvary Evangelical Free Church, Essex Fells. Arrangements are by the Farmer Funeral Home, Roseland.
Mr. Ramsland, who died Tuesday in the Keswick Pines Lifecare Center, Whiting, was the secretary and business administrator with the Nutley Board of Education from 1972 through 1987 when he retired.
He was a secretary for the Madison Township Board of Education from 1966 through 1972 and assistant secretary to the West Orange Board of Education from 1961 through 1966.
Mr. Ramsland was superintendent of building and grounds in the West Orange school system from 1954 through 1961, and prior to 1954, was a self-employed carpenter.
He graduated in 1966 from Rutgers University in Newark with a bachelor of science degree in business administration.
He served as a first lieutenant in the Army Air Corps during World War II, serving as a navigator and navigator instructor.
Mr. Ramsland was president of the Nutley Rotary Club and chairman and Sunday school teacher at Calvary Evangelical Free Church.
Born in Kristiansand, Norway, he lived in West Orange, Nutley, Ocean Grove and Boca Raton, Fla., before moving to Whiting in 1996.
Surviving are four sons, Robert, Arnold Jr., Bruce and Douglas; five grandchildren, Mrs. Susan Johannessen, Mrs. Janet Spano, Mrs. Elizabeth Pedersen, Mrs. Carol Ciccarella and Mrs. Deborah Edinger; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Bathke, Mrs. Tulla Hosler and Mrs. Lillian Barnes; a brother, Thomas; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Beatrice Rickard

Mrs. Beatrice Rickard, 67, of Cranford died yesterday in Union Hospital.
Services will be held at 8 o’clock tomorrow evening in the G.G. Woody Funeral Home, 206 E. 8th Ave., Roselle.
Mrs. Rickard was a senior account clerk at the Wakefern Food Corp., Elizabeth, for 12 years. Earlier, she had been an associate minister and missionary at St. Mark AME Church in Cranford.
Mrs. Rickard graduated from St. Peter’s College in Jersey City with bachelor’s degrees in theology and business administration.
Born in Cranford, she lived in Rahway before returning to Cranford eight years ago.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mrs. Valerie McNair, Mrs. Terry Collins and Brenda L.; a sister, Mrs. Betty Hamilton; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Franz Ritschl

A Mass for Franz E. Ritschl, 76, of Middlesex will be offered at 9 a.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Middlesex. The funeral will be from the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Rd., Middlesex.
Mr. Ritschl, who died Tuesday in the Somerset Medical Center, Somerville, was a self-employed accountant before retiring in 1985.
He sang with the Newark Sanger Club for 28 years.
Born in Germany, he lived in Alberta, Canada, before moving to Middlesex in 1962.
Surviving are his wife, Anna; two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Clark and Mrs. Helga Thompson, and three grandchildren.
Gene Jonasson

Memorial services for Gene C. Jonasson, 65, of Basking Ridge will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Gladstone. Arrangements are by the Bailey Funeral Home Inc., Peapack.
Mr. Jonasson, who died July 20 at home, was a senior engineer with ITT Long Lines in Bedminster for 30 years before retiring in 1996.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
Mr. Jonasson was a leader with the Boys Scouts of America Troop 53 in Bedminster and a past master with Congdon-Overlook Lodge 163 F&AM in Bernardsville.
Born in Burlington, Wash., he lived in Seattle before moving to Basking Ridge 40 years ago.
Surviving is a son, Eric.
Nancy Scornavacca

A blessing for Mrs. Nancy Scornavacca, 83, of Livingston will be offered at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mount Pleasant Ave.
Mrs. Scornavacca, who died Tuesday in St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, worked in the policy change division of the Prudential Insurance Co. in Newark for 25 years before retiring in 1981.
She was a member of the Livingston Oak Leaf Club, the Livingston chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons and the Thursday Senior Citizens.
Born in Newark, she lived in South Orange before moving to Livingston 18 years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Durkin and Mrs. Marie Wolf; a son, Dr. Robert Scornavacca; a brother, John Cale; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Moscatello, and four grandchildren.
