Services for York Drinks, 65, of Piscataway will be at noon tomorrow in the Abyssinian Baptist Church, Newark. Arrangements are by Plinton-Curry Funeral Home, Westfield.
Mr. Drinks, who died Sunday in the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, was a longshoreman with Maher Terminal Inc., Jersey City, since 1962.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 152, Piscataway.
Born in Euvalda, Ga., he lived in Piscataway for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Bettye; a son, York Dannell; sisters, Mrs. Ruby Ashley, Mrs. Carine Leanord and Mrs. Clara Timmons; a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Virginia Aliano

A Mass for Mrs. Virginia Aliano, 88, of Hamilton will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Cecilia Church, Monmouth Junction. Arrangements are by the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, Monmouth Junction.
Mrs. Aliano, who died Sunday in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, was a clerk in the education department at Reader’s Digest Publications in White Plains, N.Y., for 30 years before retiring in 1977.
Earlier, she had worked for Popular Science Magazine in New York City.
Born in New York City, she lived in Brooklyn before moving to Hamilton 14 years ago.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Frances Vocaturo.
Susan Freeman

Services for Mrs. Susan M. Freeman, 51, of Boonton Township will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton.
Mrs. Freeman died Tuesday in St. Clare’s Hospital, Denville.
She was a teacher’s aide at St. Mary’s School in Denville for seven years.
Mrs. Freeman attended Rutgers University in Newark and was a volunteer with the Morris County Girl Scout Council.
Born in Newark, she lived in Hopatcong before moving to Boonton Township 25 years ago.
Surviving are Dan, her husband of 21 years; two daughters, Dawn and Danielle; two sisters, Mrs. Lisa Fabian and Mrs. Janet Hefele, and her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Witting.
Rose G. Ghilino

Mrs. Rose G. Ghilino, 83, a lifelong resident of Highland Park, died yesterday in the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
Mrs. Ghilino was a seamstress at Acme Dress Co., Highland Park, for several years before retiring.
Surviving are a brother, Stephen Gergely, and a sister, Mrs. Julia Istvan.

Sheldon Gottfried, 71, of Monroe Township died yesterday at home.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow in the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.
Mr. Gottfried was the owner of M R Stainless Inc. in Monroe Township.
Before that, he had been vice president of EMCO Steel in Kearny for 20 years.
Mr. Gottfried served in the Army during peacetime.
He was a member of B’nai B’rith and the United Jewish Appeal.
Born in Newark, he lived in Edison and Fords before moving to Monroe Township three years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Mona; a son, Michael; two daughters, Mrs. Lori Mollin and Mrs. Roberta Meluskey; a sister, Mrs. Janet Stein, and two grandchildren.

PALM BAY, Fla. - A memorial Mass for Mrs. Ada Halko, 66, of Palm Bay, a former resident of Union, N.J., will be offered here at 1 p.m. tomorrow in St. Joseph’s Church. Arrangements are by the Florida Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, Rockledge.
Mrs. Halko, who died Monday at home, owned Combing Events Salon in Union until 10 years ago.
She was a graduate of Jersey City State College with a degree in cosmetology.
Mrs. Halko was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elks Lodge in New Jersey.
Born in Juncos, Puerto Rico, she lived in Union before moving to Florida 10 years ago.
Surviving Joseph James, her husband of 48 years; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Darmochwal, Susan and Mrs. Jo Leonora Rossi; a son, Joseph James Jr., and seven grandchildren.
Angel Hernandez

Services for Angel Hernandez, 70, of Elizabeth will be held at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow the Corsentino Home for Funerals, 620 Second Ave., Elizabeth.
Mr. Hernandez, who died Tuesday in Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth, was a longshoreman with Local 1235, Newark, for 25 years before retiring in 1990.
Born in Havana, Cuba, he came to Elizabeth in 1967.
Surviving are his wife, Luz; two daughters, Mrs. Olga Ortiz and Mrs. Marilyn Acevedo; a sister, Ms. Juana Estrada Hernandez, and four grandchildren.
