Mrs. Claire Elizabeth Chamberlain, 92, of Springfield died yesterday in the Inglemoor Care Center, Livingston.
A Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills. Arrangements are by the Smith and Smith (Suburban), Springfield.
Mrs. Chamberlain taught first grade at the St. Rose of Lima School, Short Hills, in 1952 and 1953 and for many years volunteered at the school’s library and taught Confraternity of Christian Doctrine classes there.
She started her career as an elementary school teacher in the East Hartford, Conn., school system, where she worked for 14 years until 1940.
Mrs. Chamberlain was a 1926 graduate of the Westfield (Mass.) Normal School.
Born in Unionville, Conn., Mrs. Chamberlain lived in East Orange before moving to Springfield in 1949.
Surviving are a son, John E.; two daughters, Clare A. Reilly and Ruth M.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Andrew Butz Sr.

A Mass for Andrew F. Butz Sr., 68, of Orange will be offered at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Aloysius Church, Caldwell, following the funeral from the Dancy Funeral Home, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell.
Mr. Butz died Saturday in Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
He was a quality control inspector for Litton Airtron, Morris Plains, for seven years before retiring in 1991.
Mr. Butz served in the Air Force during the Korean War, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 359, Orange.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge 135, Orange, and a volunteer with the Caldwell Police Athletic League, working with youth as a boxing trainer.
Born in Port Carbon, Pa., he lived in West Caldwell before moving to Orange three years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Nicole Mahoney; a son, Andrew F. Jr., and a grandchild.
Angela Buosi

A Mass for Mrs. Angela Buosi, 92, of South River will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary’s Church, South River, following the funeral from the Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick. Burial will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Mrs. Buosi died Saturday in the CentraState Medical Center, Freehold.
She was a chef at the United States Embassy in Tripoli, Libya, for 25 years before retiring.
Born in Italy, she lived in South River and Old Bridge before returning to South River.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Linda Kobylinski; a sister, Mrs. Maria Baldin; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Hugh Brady

A Mass for Hugh “Butch” Brady, 36, of Sparta will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Stephen’s Church, Kearny. Arrangements are by the Wilfred Armitage Funeral Home, Kearny.
Mr. Brady died Saturday in the Montville home of a friend.
He was a welder for McNeill Enterprises, East Windsor, for three months and, before that, he worked in the same capacity at Alpha Combustion, Flanders, for 15 years.
Born in Belleville, Mr. Brady lived in Kearny before moving to Sparta 10 years ago.
Surviving are a stepson, Donovan Tharpp; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Marshall; a sister, Deborah Ann Brady, and a brother, David Marshall.
Carl D. Bayuk

Memorial services for Carl D. Bayuk, 62, of Clinton will be held at 3 p.m. next Sunday in the Clinton Presbyterian Church, 91 Center St., Clinton. Arrangements are by the Martin Funeral Home, Clinton.
Mr. Bayuk, who died Saturday at home, was a self-employed Hunterdon County realtor/appraiser for the past 32 years.
He received the Realtor Community Service Award and the Realtor of the Year Award in 1993. Mr. Bayuk was a charter member and past president of the Green Knoll Rescue Squad, Bridgewater.
Mr. Bayuk served on the board of directors of the Hunterdon County Young Men’s Christian Association, the Clinton Historical Museum Village and the Hunterdon County Board of Realtors.
He was a member of the Town of Clinton Board of Adjustment and was a Hunterdon Hospice Volunteer.
Born in Plainfield, he lived in Bridgewater before moving to Hunterdon County in 1970.
Surviving are his wife, Beth; three sons, Andrew, Edward and Carl Jr.; two brothers, Robert and Thomas, and two grandchildren.
Paul J. Aiosa

A Mass for Paul J. Aiosa, 61, of Iselin will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Cecelia’s Church, Iselin, following the funeral from the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Rd., Edison.
Mr. Aiosa died Saturday in the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York City.
He was a supervisor at Solomon Smith Barney Inc., New York, for 25 years.
Mr. Aiosa was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Iselin Council.
Born in Jersey City, he moved to Iselin 28 years ago.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Helen; a son, Paul John; two daughters, Mrs. Stacey McGlynn and Kimberly; his mother, Mrs. Grace Aiosa; a brother, Thomas, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Carrino.
Benjamin Barako

A Mass for Benjamin J. Barako, 89, of Piscataway will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Piscataway, following the funeral from the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway. Burial will be in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
Mr. Barako, who died Saturday at home, was an office manager for Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Co., New York City, for 46 years before retiring in 1975.
He was a member of the Piscataway Senior Citizens.
Born in Jersey City, he moved to Piscataway in 1966.
Surviving are two sons, George and Robert; two brothers, Alfred and Edward; a sister, Mrs. Helen Erwin, and two grandchildren.
