A Mass for Mrs. Mary Wasenda, 82, of Riverton will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, Jackson, following the funeral from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave., South River. Burial will follow at St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Jackson.
Mrs. Wasenda died Saturday in Rancocas Hospital, Willingboro.
Born in Poland, she lived in Somerset before moving to Riverton 34 years ago.
Surviving are her husband, William; a son, John T., and two grandchildren.
Anthony F. DeFrancis

A Mass for Anthony F. DeFrancis, 62, of Cliffwood Beach will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Lawrence Church, Laurence Harbor, after the funeral from Kurzawa Funeral Home, 341 Washington Rd., Sayreville.
Mr. De Francis died Saturday in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.
He was a service mechanic for Foltzer’s Service Station, Newark, for 40 years.
Mr. De Francis served in the Navy during peacetime.
Born in Newark, he moved to Cliffwood Beach 27 years ago.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Eileen Hinds, Mrs. Michele Stefanski, Mrs. Susan Andrews, Cathy, Mrs. Debra Ford and Mrs. Donna Barresse; a son, Joseph Fernandez; sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Orme, Mrs. Rose Blessing and Mrs. Mary Rochelle; brothers, Jackie and Donny; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Arleen Ward, 90, Methodist educator

Services for Mrs. Arleen Ward, 90, of Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Madison United Methodist Church, Madison Avenue, Madison. Arrangements are by the Burroughs, Kohr and Dangler Funeral Home, Madison.
Mrs. Ward, who died Saturday at home, shared the duties of each appointment in joint ministries with her husband, the late William R. Ward Jr. Their pastorates were in the Mount Lebanon Methodist Church, Pittsburgh, Pa., from 1946-1960, Manchester, Conn., Newport, R.I., Hingham, Mass., and East Weymouth, Mass.
Mrs. Ward was a graduate of Boston University, receiving both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Christian education.
Active in the life of Drew University and the Madison United Methodist Church, she was a member of the United Methodist Women’s Organization.
Mrs. Ward has visited nearly every corner of the globe on many trips, and was often called to give lectures on her travels.
She was a member and officer of the Mount Lebanon, Pa. Chapter P.E.O. for 50 years.
Born in Jewett City, Conn., she lived in Syracuse, N.Y., Harrison, N.Y., and Convent Station, before moving to Basking Ridge in 1986.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Christine E. Bosley; three sons, Ralph A., David B. and Gerald W.R.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Arthur H. Udasin

Memorial services for Arthur H. Udasin, 58, of Lakewood will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in his residence at 2 Dawnwinds Ct., Lakewood. Arrangements are by the Ely Funeral Home, Neptune.
Mr. Udasin, who died Saturday in the Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, was a manager with AT&T for 30 years before retiring in 1997.
After his retirement, he worked as a project coordinator for Greentree Consulting.
Mr. Udasin was a member of the Second Wednesday of Every Month (S.W.E.M.) Club.
Born in Newark, he lived in Whitehouse Station before moving to Lakewood two years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Cindy Althoff and Mrs. Jill Jones; a sister, Mrs. Shelley Swill; three grandchildren, and his companion, Nancy Emmons.
Virginia Taddeo

Mrs. Virginia Taddeo, 82, of West Orange died yesterday at home.
A Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Orange, following the funeral from the Paul Ippolito Memorial, 252-256 Henry St., Orange.
Born in Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Taddeo lived in Orange before moving to West Orange 50 years ago.
Surviving are her husband, Frank J.; two sons, Patrick and Frank Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Grace Paris; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Macaluso and Mrs. Frances Dellorto; three brothers, Ross, Benjamin and Peter Mangina; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Vincent Barone

A Mass for Vincent “Bucky” Barone, 70, a lifelong resident of Elizabeth, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony’s Church, Elizabeth, following the funeral from the Petruccelli Funeral Home, 232 Christine St., Elizabeth.
Mr. Barone died Saturday in Trinitas Hospital, Jersey Street Campus, Elizabeth.
He was a truck driver with FMI Trucking of Carteret from 1995 until 1998. Previously, he was a truck driver the former Doyle Transport. Co. of Elizabeth for 20 years until 1978.
He was a former member of the Stallion Club of Elizabeth and an active bowler with the Jersey Lanes Bowling League in Linden.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Carmela; a son, Vincent J.; two daughters, Mrs. Deborah Honeymar and Mrs. Judith Pavese, and eight grandchildren.
Alejandrina Sanchez, 76

A Mass for Mrs. Alejandrina Sanchez, 76, of Newark will be offered at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Aloysius Church, Newark, following the funeral from the Buyus Funeral Home, 426 Lafayette St., Newark.
Mrs. Sanchez died Saturday in St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston.
Born in Puerto Rico, she came to Newark in 1954.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nilda Ortiz and Ms. Myrna Sanchez; a son, Marcos Jr.; four sisters, Mrs. Juana Alvarado, Mrs. Ana Alvarado, Mrs. Marina Alvarado, and Mrs. Gladys Serrano; two brothers, Felipe and Manuel; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
