CATHERINE T. WNORSKI, of Harrison, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002. She was 83. Born in Paisley, Scotland, she lived in Harrison for 60 years. She died in West Hudson Hospital, Kearny. She was a clerk with the Worthington Pump Corp., Harrison, for five years before retiring many years ago. Prior to that, she was a threader with the Clark Thread Co., East Newark, for 10 years. Surviving are daughters, Anne Lapsanski and Bernice Padovano; sisters, Hannah Muchnicki and Ellen Postel; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by the Condon Memorial Home, 210 Davis Ave., Harrison. A funeral mass was held in Holy Cross Church, Harrison.
CHRISTINE COOK (nee Hartmann), of Carlstadt, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002. She was 42. Born in Passaic, she lived in Lyndhurst for 32 years before moving to Carlstadt 10 years ago. She died at home. She worked as a secretary for General Glass Company, Clifton, for five years. Survived by her husband, Joseph Cook; her parents, Frederick and Joan (nee Tyburczy) Hartmann of Lyndhurst; two brothers, Frederick Hartmann of Lyndhurst and Richard Hartmann of Sussex; a sister, Teresa Hartmann of Lyndhurst. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted by Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst. A funeral mass was held in St. Joseph's Church, East Rutherford, followed by a private cremation. VIOLA D'ANNUNZIO (nee Macchia), of Kearny, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002. She was 73. Born in Harrison, she lived in Newark before moving to Kearny 40 years ago. She died in West Hudson Hospital, Kearny. She was a seamstress for Romic Enterprises in East Newark for many years before retiring in 1996. Wife of Albert; sister of Fred Macchia, Angelina Della Santa, Elizabeth Macchia and the late Connie Simaquski and Phyllis DiVinzio; sister-in-law of John D'Annunzio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted by the Wilfred Armitage Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. A funeral mass was held in St. Stephen's Church, Kearny. Interment

IRVING (BUNNY) FEINBERG, of Kearny, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002. He was 85. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a lifelong resident of Kearny with a dual residence in Florida for the past 20 years. He died in West Hudson Hospital, Kearny. He was a 30-year Navy veteran, retiring as a lieutenant. He served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of the Kearny Bridge Club. Husband of the late Fran; brother of Eve Finelli and the late Sol. Funeral services were conducted by the Wilfred Armitage Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, by Rabbi Dr. Herman Savitz. JANE HEIART (nee Mack), of Kearny, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002. She was 94. Born in Jersey City, she lived there before moving to Kearny in 1970. She died in West Hudson Hospital, Kearny. She was a homemaker. Beloved wife of the late Theodore; devoted mother of Mary Jane Heiart Scarcia and Theodore (and Barbara) Heiart; cherished grandmother of Beth Hanrahan and Scott Heiart and great-grandmother of Patrick. ANNA MAE POLDING, of Harrison, died Wednesday, Nov.13, 2002. She was 74. She was a lifelong resident of Harrison. She died in Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. She worked for New Jersey Bell Telephone Co., Newark, for 25 years before retiring as supervisor for data entry operations. She was a member of the Harrison Cancer League and Rosary Society of Holy Cross Church. Surviving are sons, John C., James and Robert; a daughter, Eileen Laulette and four grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by the Condon Memorial Home, 210 Davis Ave., Harrison. A funeral mass was held in Holy Cross Church, Harrison.
STANLEY J. MIGLIN, of Harrison, died Saturday, Nov.16, 2002. He was 85. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Kearny before moving to Harrison 54 years ago. He died at home. He worked for Congoleum-Nairm Linoleum, Kearny, for 35 years before retiring in 1972. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. Husband of the late Dorothy (nee Kent); devoted father of Stanley K.; dear brother of Eleanor, Joanie, Helen, Irene and Dolores; uncle of many nieces and nephews. BARRY H. MORE, of Kearny, died Sunday, Nov.10, 2002. He was 64. Born in Jersey City, he lived in North Arlington before moving to Kearny in 1966. He died at home. He was a machine designer for Scandia Packaging. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 63. Survived by his wife, Lori (nee Fentross); children, Donna More, Markus More and Barbara Boesz; siblings, Richard, Robert and John More, Joseph Minettino, Patricia Gilmer and Joyce Shay; grandfather to Heather and Pop Pop to Michael and Brenden Rafferty. MARGARET REILLY "PEGGIE" (nee Stewart), of Kearny, died Monday, Nov.11, 2002. She was 95. Born in Paisley Scotland, she moved to Kearny in 1925. She died in Walden Assisted Living Center in Wind Gap, Pa. She retired 10 years ago after 25 years as a telephone operator for Valley National Bank, Kearny. She was a member of the St. Cecilia's Rosary Society, Cecilian Senior Citizens and the Woman's Club, all of Kearny. Beloved wife of the late Francis J.; devoted mother of James, Rosemary Siegel, Margaret Reilly, Elizabeth Keller, Elenor Reilly and the late Frank ( Ace ) Reilly; dear sister of James, Rosemary Martens and Patricia Gaul; cherished grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 14. JOHN F. "JEEP" MADONNA, of Kearny, died Thursday, Nov.14, 2002. He was 81. Born in Harrison, he was a lifelong resident of Kearny. He died at home. He was a machinist for Otis Elevator in Harrison for 21 years, retiring in 1956 and then was a foreman for Coast Metal in Riveredge for 15 more years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, fighting in Oran, Italy, Sicily, Germany and Normandy. Husband of Diana (nee Robertson); brother of the late Theresa Carlucci; uncle of John Carlucci and Marilyn Esposito.
