PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Betty Taylor Kerney, 84, died April 14 in Jacksonville.
Born in New York, she lived in Trenton, Bay Head, N.J., and Princeton, N.J., before moving to Palm Beach in 1970.
She was a real estate agent in Palm Beach.
She was a member of Everglades Club and Royal Poincianna Chapel. She enjoyed golf and backgammon.
Wife of the late James Kerney Jr., former editor and publisher of The Times of Trenton, she is survived by a daughter, Mary Arditti of Ponte Vedra, Fla.; a son, Harrison Taylor Barrow Jr. of Chatham, Mass.; a sister, Virginia Simonin of Chestnut Hill, Pa.; a brother, W. Scott Taylor III of Yardley, Pa.; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Arditti of Chicago and Harrison Taylor Barrow III of Chatham, Mass.
Memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Lawrenceville School Chapel with the Rev. Will Waters, chaplain of Lawrenceville School, officiating.
Calling hours will be 3:30 p.m. until service at the chapel.
Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Princeton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, Hadlow Center, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Fla. 32257.
Arrangements are by Ivins & Taylor, Trenton.

James R. Gove Sr.

TRENTON -- James R. Gove Sr., 62, died Tuesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Fairview Park, Ohio, he lived in Trenton since 1958.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, retiring as staff sergeant after 20 years.
He retired after 17 years from the U.S. Postal Service at the General Mail Facility, Route 130, Yardville.
He was a member of Catholic War Veterans Holy Cross Post 417, Disabled American Veterans Post 41 of Hamilton and American Postal Workers Union.
Son of the late Leo A. and Grace A. Wallace Gove and brother of the late Carl Gove, he is survived by his wife, Ann V. Hancin Gove; three daughters and a son-in-law, JoAnn M. and Peggy J. Gove of Trenton and Colleen A. and Robert Pritchard of Edgewater, Md.; two sons and daughters-in-law, James R. Jr. and Joanne Gove of Morrisville, Pa., and Joseph and Sherl Gove of Lawrenceville, Ga.; seven grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Helen Gove, and Michael and Helen Gove, all of Cleveland; six sisters and five brothers-in-law, Marie Burden, Ruth and Emile Durand, Leona and Dan Kleckner, Linda and Cleve Kufman, and Rita and Dan Enovich, all of Cleveland, and Christine and Mark Shenosky of Torrence, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 8 a.m. Saturday at Winowicz Funeral Home, Adeline and Beatty streets, Trenton.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 9 a.m. at Church of the Holy Cross.
Burial with military honors will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Vigil Wake service will be 7 p.m. and Disabled American Veterans service will be 7:15 p.m.

Alice E. Carroll

WRIGHTSTOWN -- Alice E. Carroll, 73, died Tuesday at Buttonwood Hospital, New Lisbon.
Born in Memphis, Tenn., she lived in Columbus and Burlington before moving to Wrightstown 14 years ago.
She was a homemaker. She trained Seeing Eye dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Carroll; a daughter and son-in-law, Alice and David Holmes of Cream Ridge; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Cindy Carroll of Tabernacle and Andy and Donna Carroll of Wrightstown; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main St., New Egypt, with the Rev. Paul Amey officiating.
Burial will be in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
Calling hours will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

William H. Barnard Jr.

HAMILTON -- William H. Barnard Jr., 76, died Wednesday at home.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and an engineer for more than 40 years.
Son of the late William H. Sr. and Helen Mills Barnard, he is survived by his wife, Dolores Robbins Barnard; four daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and George Tiesmeyer of Cookstown, Michele and John Wollett of Blakeslee, Pa., Sandy and Ralph Patterson of Hamilton and Alison and Robert Patterson of Jenkintown, Pa.; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Helen Barnard of Hamilton Square; 11 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be private with the Rev. Charles F. Holm, pastor of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, 1599 S. Broad St., Hamilton, N.J. 08610.

Antoinette Sebastiani 04/23/99
TRENTON -- Antoinette DiDonato Sebastiani, 90, died Wednesday at St. Francis Medical Center.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church of Trenton.
Daughter of the late Gaetano and Graziella Vosa DiDonato, sister of the late George, Darwin, Vincent and Stephen DiDonato and wife of the late Ivo Sebastiani, she is survived by a daughter, Aurora Abatto of Trenton; two sisters, Bessie Mennella of Trenton and Linda Pintinalli of Lawrenceville; two brothers and five sisters-in-law, Frank and Mildred DiDonato of West Trenton, Daniel and Josephine DiDonato of Lawrenceville, Doris DiDonato of Lawrence, Anna DiDonato of Hamilton and Virginia DiDonato of Trenton; two grandchildren, Anthony Bernard DiDonato and Dawn Marie Abatto of Langhorne, Pa.; a great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethany Presbyterian Church, with Alice Bijjani, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Chambers D'Errico and Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers St.

MONTCLAIR TOWNSHIP -- Madeline Mary Schuck died Tuesday at the Pope Paul II Pavilion, St. Mary's Life Center in Orange.
Born in Trenton, she was a longtime resident before moving to Peapack and Montclair in the early 1980s.
She retired as a principal clerk for the State of New Jersey, Department of Labor and Industry, Employment Security Division, Trenton.
She was a member of the Ladies of the Blessed Sacrament of Immaculate Conception Church; Third Order of the Immaculate Conception; Mount Carmel Guild; Miraculous Medal Association and the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. She was a communicant at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair.
She graduated from the Immaculate Conception grammar and high schools.
Daughter of the late Jacob and Mary M. Damsky Schuck, she is survived by two cousins, Frances Collier and Gertrude Severns, both of Trenton; and friends at the St. Joseph's Villa and Mother Seton Residence.
Service will be 10:15 a.m. today at Winowicz Funeral Service, Adeline and Beatty streets.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. today at the Church of the Holy Cross, South Trenton.
Burial will be in the family plot in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 9 to 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mass cards would be appreciated.
