James McLaughlin

EWING -- James P. McLaughlin, 78, died Tuesday at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Ewing-area resident.
He retired as a machine operator with NWL Laboratories, Bordentown, after 30 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Incarnation Church and its Holy Name Society, and was an usher; a member of Knights of Columbus Council 3756; a former Boy Scout master; and a volunteer with Pennington Road Fire Co., Ewing.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Son of the late John and Mary Hawkes McLaughlin, and brother of the late Edna Gyarfas and John and William McLaughlin, he is survived by his wife, Ruth Roberts McLaughlin of Ewing; five sons and daughters-in-law, James G. and Judith McLaughlin Sr. of Trenton, Theodore and Elizabeth McLaughlin of Hamilton, Phillip M. McLaughlin Sr. of Ewing, Robert and Kathleen McLaughlin of Ewing, Matthew and Christine McLaughlin of Eddington, Maine, and Marion McLaughlin of Groveville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Dawn and James Brossoie of Ewing and Donna Gooch of Morrisville, Pa.; three sisters, Flora Silvani of Bradenton, Fla., Subella Derr of Deland, Fla., and Mary Drum of Fairless Hills, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Dolores McLaughlin of Pennsylvania; 24 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:15 a.m. Friday from Chambers D'Errico and Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers St., Trenton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Friday at Incarnation Catholic Church, 1545 Pennington Road, Ewing.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, when a Christian Wake Service will be offered.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Frank Kimble

MANSFIELD -- Frank K. Kimble, 74, died Wednesday at Virtua Health Memorial Hospital of Burlington Co., Mount Holly.
Born in Mount Holly, he lived in Mansfield and Roebling before moving to the Homestead section of Mansfield four years ago.
He was a retired truck driver for Lester Fellows Trucking Co., Burlington.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific, and the Korean War.
He was a member of Opre Larson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8838 of Roebling; Mount Holly American Legion Post 11; Marine Corps League, Trenton; Teamsters Union Local 676, Collingswood; and Mansfield and Springfield Township Senior Citizens.
He enjoyed nature and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Nagy Kimble; two sons, Dennis F. Kimble of Salem and Mark E. Kimble of Lambertville; a sister, Virginia Watts of Mount Holly; six grandchildren; Brittany and Brooke Kimble, and Robert, Scott, Debbie and Brian Arnold; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling, with the Rev. Edwin Stern officiating.
Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Florence.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until service Saturday at the funeral home.

Josephine Heuser

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP -- Josephine V. Heuser, 85, died Friday at Forrestal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Princeton.
Born in New York City, she lived in Forest Hills, N.Y., before moving to Robbinsville in 1965.
She worked at her father's produce business many years at Washington Market in New York City and raised boxers with her husband, showing them at dog shows in Madison Square Garden.
She graduated from Kew Forest Preparatory School and attended Barnard and Wellesley colleges.
She founded the Princeton chapter of the American Rhododendron Society and started Indian Run Nursery with her husband in 1964.
She enjoyed horticulture, playing bridge and collecting rocks and minerals.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Leon J. Heuser; two sisters, Margaret V. Dinges of Longwood, Fla., and Alice V. Stanley of Sun Valley, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at a later date.

Henry Barkosky

HAMILTON -- Henry Barkosky, 82, died Saturday at home.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
He served in the Maritime Service during World War II with the Army Transportation Command and Coast Guard in the Atlantic and Pacific.
He worked for Home Rubber Co. in Trenton, retiring in 1978 after 25 years.
He was a member of American Legion Hamilton Post 313 and former member of Deutzville Civic Association.
Son of the late Carl and Genevieve Zabolva Barkosky, husband of the late Mary Papp Barkosky and brother of the late Stanley, Frank, Theodore, M. Karl and Andrew Barkosky, he is survived by two daughters, Jean Conradson of Fort Myers, Fla., and Nancy Sforza of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Deborah Sprouse of Mammoth Cave, Ky., Deanna Barrett of Hatboro, Pa., Jay Merritt of Orlando, Fla., and Paul Verderese of Trenton; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Kostrub of Florence; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated noon today at St. Stanislaus Church, Trenton, with the Rev. Christian Wojciechowski officiating.
Burial will be 1:30 p.m. today at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
Calling hours will be private.

Dr. Walter Chemris

SPRING LAKE HEIGHTS -- Dr. Walter Mark Chemris, 76, died Wednesday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune.
Born in Jamesburg, he lived in Elizabeth and Ridgewood 37 years before retiring to Spring Lake Heights in 1991.
He was an Army medic in World War II.
He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, Elizabeth; Columbia University in New York City in 1946; and New York Medical College in 1951. He interned at Baltimore City Hospital and did his residency at Babies Hospital at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York City.
He served a fellowship at Roosevelt Hospital in New York City and became an allergist.
He was a former staff member at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood; and former member of the Bergen County and American Medical associations. A golfer, he was a member of Manasquan River Golf Club, Brielle.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rose Colford Chemris; two sons, Mark Chemris of Hackensack, and Thomas and wife Tara of Glen Rock; three daughters and a son-in-law, Crystal Chemris of Northampton, Mass., Robin Chemris of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Mary Chemris and Timothy Quinn of Princeton Borough; a sister, Norma Nichols of Silver Spring, M.D.; and four grandsons, Michael Walter, Erik Patrick and Connor Mark Chemris of Glen Rock and George Walter Quinn of Princeton Borough.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at O'Brien Funeral Home, Route 35 at New Bedford Road, Wall.
Interment will be private.

HAMILTON -- Mildred F. Coulton, 91, died Wednesday at The Elms of Cranbury.
Born in Union City, she lived in Hamilton Square until moving to Dunedin, Fla. in 1971.
She attended First Presbyterian Church in Hamilton Square for many years.
Wife of the late John M. Coulton, she is survived by two daughters, Jean Gill of Danbury, Conn., and Lura Trossello of Hamilton Square; a brother, John Knowlton of Sun City, Ariz.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a niece and nephew.
Funeral service will be private.

PRINCETON TOWNSHIP -- Robert C. Crowell, 91, died Wednesday at Capital Health System at Mercer hospital, Trenton.
Born in Lebanon, Pa., he lived in Morrisville, Pa. more than 60 years before moving to Princeton nine years ago.
He co-founded Penn-Valley Constructors in Morrisville in 1933, retiring in 1995.
He was a member and trustee of First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville and United Church of Surf City, Long Beach Island.
He was a two-term mayor of Morrisville.
He attended Drexel Institute.
He was a Mason; member of Scottish Rite; and member and past president of Morrisville Rotary. He was former chairman of Morrisville School Authority; and advisory board member of Salvation Army.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret C. Yeagley Gray Crowell; a daughter, Joyce and her husband, Robert Helmer Govin of Huntington Beach, Calif.; three stepsons, Robert M. and his wife, Barbara E. Gray Jr. of Manahawkin, Glenn T. and his wife, Joan B. Gray of Hamilton Square, and Reginald D. and his wife, Pamela Gray of Breckenridge, Colo.; a friend, Jill Tabak of Breckenridge; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Hutchinson Memorial Chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville, with the Rev. Richard S. Kauffman, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
There will be no calling hours.
