MATAWAN BOROUGH -- Camillo J. "Sonny" Sardella, 62, died Thursday at home.
Born in Long Branch, he was a lifelong Matawan resident.
He was assistant supervisor of the Grounds Maintenance Department for Marlboro Township 14 years.
Mr. Sardella was a life member of Matawan First Aid Squad. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of Masonic Lodge, Matawan Sirius Chapter, and of the Crescent Temple Shriners of Trenton. He was also a member of Matawan United Methodist Church, Aberdeen.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judith Sanders Sardella; a son, Donn of Melbourne, Fla.; a daughter, Karen Townsend of Alexandria, Va.; his father, Joseph of Middletown; a brother, Joseph of Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 12:30 p.m. Monday at Waitt Funeral Home, 501 Route 79, Morganville.
Burial will be in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home.
Marylillon Sanford

LAWRENCE -- Marylillon Sanford, died Monday at Lawrenceville Nursing Home.
Born in Chicago, she lived in Philadelphia before moving to New Jersey.
She attended Syracuse University.
Mrs. Sanford was employed by the University of Pennsylvania book store.
She was a member of Woodland Presbyterian Church, the West Philadelphia Garden Club and the Unitarian Universalist Book Club.
Daughter of the late Katharina Beck and Claude Read and wife of the late Edward Payne Sanford, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Katherine and Richard Hartman of Buffalo, N.Y., and Barbara and Hugh Smith of Trenton; and grandchildren Wynn Hausser and Amy Balsom, Mark and Pam Hausser, Sherri Hausser, Hugh S. Smith and Ann Leibig, Kimberly Smith and Jan Debyser, Laurie Smith and James Bowbliss, Scott Smith, Richard Hartman and Yanni Chen and Susan and Allen Scioli; seven great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be private.
Casey Miller

NAPLES, Maine -- Casey Miller, 63, died Wednesday at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Born in Princeton, N.J., she was a resident until 1992, when she moved to Maine.
She was a nurse at The Medical Center at Princeton, then with Dr. Fishman in Hightstown, N.J., and Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead, N.J. In 1992 she began to work at Westbrook Community Hospital.
Daughter of the late Bernice Evans Moyer and Edward Moyer, she is survived by her husband, James; a daughter, Kim Buckalew of Princeton; and a brother, Edward Moyer of Ewing.
A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday at Blawenburg Reformed Church, Route 518, Blawenburg.

Ernest C. Ludwig

BENSALEM, Pa. -- Ernest C. Ludwig, 81, died Wednesday at St. Mary Medical Center, Middletown Township.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Morrisville before moving to Wood River Village in Bensalem in 1986.
Mr. Ludwig was a retired Morrisville postal employee.
He was a member of the Penn-Morris Lodge No. 778 and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Florence W. Cornall Ludwig; a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas E. and Michelle Ludwig of Morrisville; and three grandchildren, Rebecca, Christopher and Jason.
Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, with the Rev. Richard S. Kauffman, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville, officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Trenton.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel.
Raymond Lassiter Sr.

TRENTON -- Raymond E. Lassiter Sr., 76, died Wednesday at Capital Health System at Mercer.
Born in Layton, Pa., he lived in Trenton for more than 50 years.
He was educated in Beacon, N.Y., public schools, and attended Hampton Institute in Hampton, Va.
He was a retired employee at Acme, Hamilton Rubber Co. for 20 years and the Ewing Board of Education for eight years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, serving on its deacon board and usher board, was former superintendent of its Sunday school and was a former director of the church's B.T.U. Board. He was also an NAACP member and belonged to Mitchell Davis Post 182 of American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Crandall Lassiter; two sons, Raymond Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, and Ronald of Tokana Park, Md.; a daughter-in-law, Carol Lassiter of High Springs, Fla.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Vera Wilson of Beacon, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church, 340 Calhoun St., with the Rev. Darrell Armstrong, assistant pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery.

Helen Marie Huston

TRENTON -- Helen Marie Huston, 99, died Thursday at the Lutheran Home of Moorestown.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, where she was choir director 38 years and a member of the LCW.
She was the founding president of Soroptimist International of Trenton.
She owned the Helen Huston Dress Shop in Trenton and worked at Nevius-Voorhees, Mifflin Piano and Amron Construction. She was a volunteer with the 4-H Club.
Daughter of the late Robert and Rosina Keck Huston, she is survived by a goddaughter, Sandra H. Appleby and family, Harold, Linnea, Michael, Stephanie and Nick; and many friends.
Service will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Hamilton, with the Rev. Jesse Houck III, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 S. Broad St., Hamilton.

Harold A. Hubscher

HAMILTON -- Harold Arthur Hubscher, 80, died Tuesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Hamilton 48 years.
He owned Hub Express Moving and Storage Co.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a founding member of Sunnybrae Little League and The Father's Club of McCorristan High School. He also helped design the football and sports complex on Leonard Avenue in Hamilton.
He was a member of Trenton Elks Lodge 105.
Son of the late Sidney Hubsch and Eleanor Goldenbaum-Hubsch and brother of the late Donnald S. Hubsch, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Erdy Hubscher; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce Hubscher and Beverly Hubscher; a granddaughter, Beth Ann Hubscher; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott Hubscher and Kathy Hubscher; and a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Barry Resnick.
Service will be private. Arrangements were by Raul Torrens Funeral Services, Trenton.
