PRINCETON TOWNSHIP -- Irene K. Farkas, 80, died Sunday at Merwick Nursing Home.
Born in New Brunswick, she lived in Somerset County before moving to the nursing home.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Ruth Chapter, of Milltown.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore; three daughters, Tyrene Schilke of Somerset, Kathaleen Farkas of Belle Mead and Theodora K. Sedneff of South Brunswick; and a grandson, ffolkes.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Ave., New Brunswick.
Burial will be in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.
Fanny Cohen

EWING -- Fanny Cohen, 93, died Sunday at Greenwood House Nursing Home.
Born in Chicago, she lived in Newark before moving to the Ewing area 25 years ago.
Wife of the late Hyman Cohen, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Evelyn and Sidney Brummell of Ewing and Francine Rosman of Belleville; a brother, Albert Chodakewitz of Toms River; a sister, Ida Dubman of Miami Beach, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Dena and Marc Brummell, Michael and Jennifer Rosman, and Pamela Weiner.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Talmud Torah Cemetery, Newark.

MONTGOMERY -- Dorothy L. Bauer, 78, died Tuesday at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville.
Born in Detroit, Mich., she was a longtime resident of Allen Park, Mich., before moving to Montgomery in 1997.
She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Skillman, and the Montgomery and Rocky Hill senior citizen clubs.
Mother of the late David Bauer, she is survived by her husband, John W. Bauer Jr.; a daughter, Pamela Nicholas; two granddaughters, Corina and Janell Nicholas; a son-in-law, Tony Nicholas, all of of Montgomery; and two sisters, Marion Bird of Hobe Sound, Fla., and Edna Ensworth of Dearborn, Mich.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Church.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum, Piscataway.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 Route 206, Belle Mead.

Dr. Bernard Schnur

PRINCETON -- Dr. Bernard "Bun" Schnur, 82, died Sunday at Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Trenton, he was an area resident most of his life. He lived in Princeton since 1987.
A graduate of Tulane University and its school of medicine, he was a practicing radiologist more than fifty years, retiring last year. He was affiliated with St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, where he was chief of its radiology department and president of its medical staff from 1965-71. He was a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and member of American College of Radiology, Pan-American Medical Association. He was a fellow of the American College of Angiology and the Academy of International Medicine.
He was past president and lifetime board member of Abrams Hebrew Academy; member and former trustee of Adath Israel Congregation; and a member of Long Beach Island Jewish Center, Lotos Club, Princeton Art Museum, Jewish Art Museum and Friedman Society, New York City.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and Korea, serving in the Medical Corps.
Son of the late Aaron and Fannie Schnur and brother of the late Harriet Lavinson, he is survived by his wife, Ruth Shankman Schnur; three sons, Stephen H. of Newtown, Pa., Dr. Ronald N. and his fiance Sandra Sussman of Princeton, and Daniel A. of New York City; a daughter and a son-in-law, Rabbi Susan Schnur and Len Fishman of Hopewell; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Seymour and Annette Schnur of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Sidney and Gloria Schnur of Huntington, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Lincoln and Anna Schnur-Fishman; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be noon Wednesday at Adath Israel Congregation, 1958 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, with Rabbi Daniel Grossman and Cantor Arthur Katlin officiating.
Burial will be in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park.
Period of mourning will be observed at the Schnur residence, Princeton.

HADDONFIELD -- Eva J. Rue, 90, died Sunday at West Jersey Hospital, Voorhees.
Born in Cream Ridge, she lived in the Allentown/Upper Freehold Township area more than 60 years before moving to Haddonfield Presbyterian Home in 1996.
She was a postal clerk at Allentown Post Office many years and a member of Allentown Presbyterian Church.
Wife of the late Wilbur F. Rue and mother of the late Shirley Mullinix, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ramona R. and James J. Truncer of Holmdel; six grandchildren, James J. Truncer, Rebecca Watkins, Heidi Dukes and Rachel, Eric and Deborah Kempl; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, N.J., with the Rev. Stephen Hinzel-Nelson officiating.
Burial will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.

Ramon Roman

TRENTON -- Ramon Roman, 42, died Monday at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital.
Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, he was a longtime Trenton area resident.
He formerly was a crane operator at Mercer Wrecking Co. He was a member of Pentecostal Assembly of God Church, Trenton, where he was a former Bible Institute teacher and translator. He graduated from Pentecostal Assembly of God Bible Institute, Trenton. He enjoyed fishing.
Son of the late Maria Santiago and brother of the late Celedonio Roman, he is survived by a son, Luis Martinez of Lawrenceville; two daughters, Joanna Martinez and Carmen M. Roman of Trenton; his father, Andres Roman of Philadelphia, Pa.; a brother, Carlos Rivera of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Celia Rivera of Puerto Rico, and Milagros Rivera of Chicago, Ill.; his companion, Iris Rivera of Trenton; three grandchildren, Luis Martinez Jr., Edward Reyes Jr. and Olivia Martinez; and other relatives.
Funeral will be 9 a.m. Thursday at Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, 990 S. Broad St., with the Rev. Jose Rodriguez officiating.
Burial will be in Colonial Memorial Park Cemetery, South Broad Street, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with service at 7:30 p.m.

WEST NEW YORK, N.J. -- Anita C. Reimann, 71, died Sunday at Palisades Medical Center, North Bergen, N.J.
Born in New York City, she was a lifelong West New York resident.
She was a factory worker at Kreisler Co., North Bergen, 15 years before retiring.
She is survived by her husband Oswald Reimann of West New York; a daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Roger Stillwell of Trenton; two grandchildren, Melanie and Kristen Stillwell of Trenton; and two dear friends, Violet and Ronnie Arndt.
Funeral service will be 8 p.m. Wednesday at Vainieri Funeral Home, 5923 Kennedy Blvd., North Bergen, N.J.
