YARDLEY, Pa. -- Richard E. Madden, 88, died Monday at a nursing and rehabilitation center.
Born in Maddensville, and formerly of Pittsburgh, he was a Yardley-Lower Makefield resident 48 years.
He retired in 1974 after 38 years with USX Corp., at both the Pittsburgh and Fairless Works.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville; Fairless Lodge 776 F&AM, transferring from Dallas Lodge, Pittsburgh, and receiving his 50-year Masonic pin in 1996; Ancient Scottish Rite, Valley of Pittsburgh; Syria Shrine of Pittsburgh; Crescent Shrine of Trenton; Al-O-Mon Forest 138 of MeKeesport; Greater Trenton Shrine Club; and Delaware Valley High Twelve Club.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy S. Heeter Madden.
Private funeral service will be at the family's convenience.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

RARITAN TOWNSHIP -- Anthony J. Mannino, 61, died Saturday at home.
Born in Cinisi, Sicily, he lived in Milford, Conn., from 1969 to 1979 before moving to Raritan Township.
He was a licensed clinical social worker; director of the Easter Seal Society of Hunterdon County, Flemington; and had a private practice in Flemington. He was formerly director of the Outpatient Clinic at Bridgeport Hospital, Conn.
He graduated from Western Kentucky University and received his master's degree in psychiatric social work from the University of Connecticut. He did graduate work at Bowling Green University and Columbia University.
Son of the late Josephine Abbate Mannino, he is survived by his father, Salvatore Mannino of Flemington; his wife, B. Sue Meadows Mannino; a son, Salvatore Mannino of Dublin, Pa.; a daughter, Andrea J. Mannino of Stockton; two sisters, Connie Soriero and Stella Maltese, both of Flemington; three brothers, Norman, Fred and Salvatore Mannino, all of Flemington; and five grandchildren.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine St., Flemington.
Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington.

Lary Bernard McCray

TRENTON -- Lary Bernard McCray, 37, died Wednesday at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident.
He was educated in Trenton public schools and did volunteer work for Capital Health System.
Son of the late Jessie and Rose McCray and brother of the late Tony and Shirland McCray, he is survived by two brothers, Ronald and Teddy McCray, both of Trenton; an aunt and uncle, Betty and James Thomas, of Trenton; two great-aunts; two great-uncles; a nephew, Ronald McCray Jr. of Trenton; and several cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at J.W. Travis Funeral Home, 931 Martin Luther King Blvd., Trenton, with Rev. John A. Gaines, pastor of El Bethea Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Cleathem Miles Jr.

FIELDSBORO -- Cleathem Miles Jr., 28, died Jan. 24 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Fieldsboro resident and graduated from Bordentown Regional High School.
He was a member of Mount Zion AME Church and Union Baptist Church, both of Bordentown.
Son of the late Cleathem Miles Sr. and grandson of the late Willie and Viola Siler; he is survived by his mother, Cubie Dean Siler Miles of Fieldsboro; two sisters, Sandra Johnson of Florence and Cynthia Miles of Delaware; six aunts; six uncles; and many other relatives.
Funeral service will be noon Wednesday at Mount Zion AME Church, 36 E. Burlington St., Bordentown, with the Rev. Jasper Daniels, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Bordentown Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 10 a.m. until service Wednesday at the church.

Lucy Rainear Rainiero

EWING -- Lucy Rainear Rainiero, 88, died Friday at home.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
She retired after 30 years as a pattern cutter for Dorianne Sportswear. She was a member of St. James Church, its Altar Rosary Society and senior citizens club.
Daughter of the late John and Martha Gagliardi Rainiero and sister of the late Mary Fratarcangeli, she is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Michael and Fanny Rainiero and Rocco Rainiero, all of Ewing; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 7:30 a.m. Wednesday from Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Roman Catholic Church.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral Home.

HAMILTON -- Mary Gura Swal, 88, died Saturday at home.
Born in Trenton, she lived in the Trenton area 63 years.
She retired from the New Jersey Department of Corrections, Clinton Reformatory, in 1970 after 23 years.
She was a member of Wilson Senior Citizen Center, Hamilton.
Daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Pisak Gura, wife of the late Peter E. Swal and mother of the late Daniel and Peter Swal, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Eversole-Matzer and Michael Matzer of Hamilton; two daughters-in-law, Ruth Swal of Hamilton and Madonna Swal of Allentown, N.J.; four sisters, Olga Cordas and Ethel Stanko, both of Trenton, Margaret Gura of Texas and Elsie Severs of Florida; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be private.
There will be no calling hours.

Lelia Dowell Bracy

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Lelia Dowell Bracy, 79, died Jan. 20 at home.
Born in Albemarle County, and educated in Covesville public schools, she was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville, N.J.
In New Jersey, she attended the First Baptist Church of Eggert's Crossing, Lawrenceville, and was a member of the Elks of Princeton. In Charlottesville, she attended the First Baptist Church of Covesville.
Daughter of the late Laura and Alfred Dowell, she is survived by a daughter, Yvonne D. Gardner of Charlottesville; three sisters, Rosa Adams of Harrisburg, Pa., Laura Gleen of Charlottesville and Nancy Johnson of Covesville; two brothers, Haywood Dowell of Nelson County, and Rufus Dowell of North Garden; five grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
Funeral service was Jan. 24 in Covesville.
