PENNINGTON -- Thomas J. Scheideler, 61, died Sunday at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin.
Born in Trenton, and a longtime Ewing resident, he lived in Pennington for the last seven years.
A retired building contractor, he was co-owner of T & J Builders, Pennington.
Son of the late Harry A. Sr. and Helen Bielamowicz Scheideler, he is survived by his wife, Catherine M. Scheideler; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kimberly A. Scheideler of Bordentown, and Lori and Scott Apai of Pennington; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Harry Scheideler Jr. of Little Egg Harbor, and Joseph and Linda Scheideler of Idaho; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Beatrice and Robert Ferrell of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and Rosemarie and Joseph Kusmider of Tuckerton; and a granddaughter, Michelle A. Scheideler.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle, Pennington.
Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

John Solimando
02/02/99
RENO, Nev. -- John Solimando, 69, died Saturday at home.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Manhattan, N.Y., before moving to Reno five years ago.
He worked in the gaming industry.
Son of the late Michael A. Solimando and Peggy McHugh, he is survived by a son, Jeff Solimando of Trenton; and a brother, Patrick Solimando of Stamford, Conn.
Cremation was at Sierra Crematory, Carson City, Nev.
Private funeral service will be at a later date.
Burial will be private.
There will be no calling hours.

Doris M. Spirida
02/02/99
FLORENCE -- Doris M. Spirida, 67, died Monday at Virtua Health Memorial Hospital of Burlington County.
Born in Riverside and a former Riverton resident, she was a longtime Roebling resident.
She was a shift manager at Caulkins Newspaper Co., Levittown, Pa., for 15 years before retiring.
Mrs. Spirida was a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Roebling, and its Altar Rosary Society. A life member of the Roebling Volunteer Fire Co. No. 3, she also was a member of its ladies auxiliary and the Roebling Historical Society.
She is survived by her husband, Louis Spirida; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sally A. Farkas of Roebling, and Sandy and Jack Ross of Bordentown; her mother, Myra Martin of Orlando, Fla.; four brothers, James Dilks of Orlando, Joseph Dilks of Tarmac, Fla., Jack Dilks of Millville and Lee Martin of Arizona; three grandchildren, Jennifer L. Carlani, and Carolyn and Garry Ross; a great-grandchild, Caitlin Ann Carlani; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, Inc., 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling.
Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Roebling.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with rosary services to be conducted.
Memorial contributions may be made to Roebling Volunteer Fire Co. No. 3, Seventh and Main Streets, Roebling, N.J. 08554.

Ida M. Woeller

FLORENCE -- Ida M. Denning Woeller, 68, died Monday at home.
Born in Mount Holly, she lived in Bridgeboro many years before moving to Florence 42 years ago.
She retired in 1994 after 10 years as a food service worker for National Auto Dealers Exchange, Bordentown, and was a former waitress at Millside Dairy Bar, Delran.
She was a member of First Wesleyan Church of Florence, where she was a Sunday school teacher and director of the junior church activities.
She was formerly active with Florence Township Cub Scout and Girl Scout programs and was a former member of Duffy School PTA.
She is survived by her husband, Harold O. Woeller Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Harold O. Jr. and Anna Woeller; and a daughter and son-in-law, Ida May and Jeffrey Weaver, all of Florence; five sisters, Florence Kauffman of Edgewater Park, Reba Ridgway of Mount Holly, Ella Dulcich and Laura Durham of Browns Mills and Janet Denning of Maple Shade; three brothers, Byron Denning of Beaufort, S.C., Howard Crowley of Maple Shade and Elwood Crowley of Pemberton; two sisters-in-law; Wanda Smith and her husband Elmer and Doris Woeller, all of Millville; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front St., with the Rev. Philip V. Loria, pastor of First Wesleyan Church of Florence, officiating.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Wesleyan Church of Florence or Florence Emergency Squad.

Edna Walters

LAWRENCE -- Edna A. Walters, 90, died Monday at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital, Trenton.
Born in Plymouth, Pa., she lived in Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Lawrenceville in 1950.
She retired in 1971 after 17 years as an assembler with General Motors Corp., Ewing.
She was a member of St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church and United Auto Workers.
Daughter of the late Andrew and Vincenta Bryzinski Vonsavage and wife of the late Joseph Walters, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Ann Wojciechowski of Lawrenceville and Patricia and Tom Ohlemiller of Gaithersburg, Md.; and a grandson, Daniel Ohlemiller.
Funeral will be 8 a.m. Thursday from Lisiecki Memorial Home, 1028 N. Olden Ave., Trenton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, 872 Brunswick Ave., Trenton.
Entombment will be in the Garden of the Crucifixion, St. Mary's Mausoleum, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Rose R. Walsh

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Rose R. Walsh, 81, died Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale.
Born in New York City, she was a longtime Trenton resident before recently moving to Fort Lauderdale.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Sebastian Church and its Women's Club, and a former member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Trenton, and Trenton Country Club.
She enjoyed golfing and skebana, the art of Japanese flower arranging and decorating.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joseph R. Walsh; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph R. Jr. and Susan Walsh of Yardley, Pa.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and John Schmidt of Chincoteague, Va., Sheila and Ralph Scheibner of Trenton, Joanne and Joe Burns of Princeton, N.J., and Rosemary and Bradley Pasko of Trenton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Church, 720 Bellevue Ave., Trenton.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements were by Fred Hunter's Funeral Home.

Diane D. Putala-Hepburn

TURNERS FALLS, Mass. -- Diane D. Putala-Hepburn, 44, died Saturday at New Britain (Conn.) General Hospital.
Born in Montague, she lived in Turners Falls.
She retired in May 1998 after seven years as a book editor for Peterson's, Princeton, N.J. Previously, she managed housing complexes in Connecticut and New Jersey.
She was a member of Peterson's Softball Team and enjoyed golf, tennis, softball and animals.
She graduated from Turners Falls High School and Greenfield Community College.
Daughter of the late Edwin J. Putala, she is survived by her mother, Kathryn M. Greene Putala of Turners Falls; two sisters, Kathleen Joy of Amston, Conn., and Judy Putala of Leyden; a niece, Katie Joy; her friend and companion, Dan Karleen of Bristol, Pa.; cousins; and two aunts.
Service will be 9:45 a.m. Wednesday from Kostanski Funeral Home, 11 Unity St., Turners Falls.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
