BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP -- Joseph C. Nelson, 79, died Sunday at Burlington Woods Convalescent Center, Burlington.
Born in Bordentown, he was a longtime area resident.
He retired in 1975 after 35 years as a ladle man with John A. Roebling's Sons Co., Roebling.
Mr. Nelson was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Corps of Engineers and the Battle of the Bulge.
He was a member of the Ervin V. Hamilton American Legion Post 26; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8838, Roebling; and American Association of Retired Persons.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Roberts Nelson; a daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Joseph Rein of Wildwood; a sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Richard Knott of New Mexico; and a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Ruth Nelson of Bordentown Township.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hartmann Funeral Home of Bordentown, 40 Crosswicks St., with the Rev. Mickey Bender, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, Bordentown, officiating.
Burial will be in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, at the family's convenience.

Morris A. Miller

YARDLEY, Pa. -- Morris A. Miller, 86, died Monday at St. Mary Medical Center, Middletown Township.
Born in Chicago, he was a longtime Trenton area resident before recently moving to Yardley.
He retired in 1978 as the manager of New Jersey Tobacco Co.
He was a member of Adath Israel Congregation, Brith Sholom and American Association of Retired Persons.
Husband of the late Fannie Miller, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Roberta Miller; and a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and William Norton, all of Yardley; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, N.J.

Marianna Cimoch Markowski

CHESTERFIELD -- Marianna Cimoch Markowski, 50, died Sunday at home.
Born in Letownica, Poland, she immigrated to the United States in 1967 and was a Trenton and Chesterfield resident since then.
She worked several years for Integra Life Sciences Co., Plainsboro.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Markowski of Chesterfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Michele M. and Michael G. Koch of South Brunswick; her parents, Czeslaw and Jadwiga Staniec Cimoch of Hamilton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elzbieta and Antoni Libuda of Columbus and Ann and Paul Matusek of Chesterfield; a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Joyce Cimoch of Hamilton; and other relatives.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday from Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave., Trenton.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, 872 Brunswick Ave., Trenton, with the Rev. Felix Schabowski officiating.
Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing.
Calling hours will be 8:30 a.m. until service Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

Gabriel C. Magliocco

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Gabriel C. Magliocco, 82, died Oct. 12 at Osceola Regional Medical Center.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong resident before moving to Kissimmee three years ago.
He worked 26 years with the U.S. Postal Service, Philadelphia.
Mr. Magliocco was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific.
Husband of the late Lillian Pinto Magliocco, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Peter J. and JoAnne Magliocco of Horsham, Pa.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and William Schreiber of Philadelphia and Teresa A. and John P. Russo of Hamilton, N.J.; nine grandchildren, William, Teresa, Nicholas and Denise Schreiber, Peter, John and Michael Magliocco, Christina M. and John M. Russo; and a great-grandchild, Matthew J. Schreiber.
Memorial services and interment were private.

Alice R. Lettiere

HAMILTON -- Alice R. Lettiere, 62, died Sunday at home.
Born in Tennessee, she was a longtime Trenton resident.
She retired in May after 10 years with the state Department of Human Resources.
She played guitar and sang with her husband in the Joey Michael's Trio.
Daughter of the late Anna and Lawrence Gregg and daughter-in-law of the late Jennie Lettiere, she is survived by her husband, Joseph Lettiere of Mercerville; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Loretta Denton of Yardley, Pa., David and Lin Denton of Langhorne, Pa., and Christopher Lettiere of Mercerville; a daughter, Sharon D. Lettiere of Hamilton Square; her father-in-law, Thomas Lettiere of Trenton; three sisters; three brothers; seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be private.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are by Saul Colonial Home.

TRENTON -- Diane M. Leary, 54, died Wednesday at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident.
She was a labor and delivery technician with The Medical Center at Princeton for 25 years.
She was educated in Trenton public schools.
Sister of the late Johnny Claude Willis, she is survived by her husband, Marion Leary Sr.; three sons, Glen Johnson, Leonard and Marion Jr.; three daughters and a son-in-law, Gwendolyn Leary-Bryan, Nancy Freeman and Kimberly and Nathaniel Johnson Jr.; her mother, Mae Edwards; her father, Joseph Johnson; two sisters, Janith Jones and Juanita Davis; three brothers, Clyde and Saladeen Willis and Marcus Johnson, all of Trenton; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Beauty Grove Primitive Baptist Church, 66 Race St., with Elder Clemson Leach, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until service Thursday at the church.
Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel.
William F. Kodgis

LUMBERTON -- William F. Kodgis died Saturday at Cooper Medical Center, Camden.
Born in Johnstown, Pa., he lived in Lumberton 16 years.
He retired as a tool and die maker from Kuhn Jacobs, Trenton.
Mr. Kodgis volunteered many hours at Virtua -- Health Memorial Hospital of Burlington County, Mount Holly.
He is survived by a son, Damian W. of Suffern, N.Y.; a daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Joseph Maisto of Bordentown Township; three sisters, Genevieve Carthew and Phyllis Misosky of Johnstown, and Helen Czerniewski of Long Island, N.Y.; a brother, Edward Kodgis of Johnstown; and nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, with the Rev. Michael Burns, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 to 9 a.m. Friday at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown.
