Robert Dempsky

HAMILTON -- Robert F. Dempsky 39, died Sunday at home.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
He was a field representative for New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Cos. of West Trenton 14 years and worked at Landwehr's Restaurant, River Road.
He graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1980 and from Trenton State College in 1984, majoring in business administration.
He was a member of Polish Falcons Nest 59 and enjoyed fishing and camping.
He is survived by two sons, Kyle Robert and Ryan Andrew Dempsky of Hamilton; his parents, Robert L. and Claire P. Mayko Dempsky of Hamilton; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Wendy Marie and Kenneth Reade of Mercerville, Christine Ann and Barry Stillwell of Hamilton and Mary Elizabeth Dempsky of Leola, Pa.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Andrew J. and Cindy Dempsky of Bristol, Pa., and Matthew P. Dempsky of Summit; a niece; his former wife, Andrea Minnick Dempsky of Hamilton; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 8 a.m. Friday at Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave., Trenton.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 9 a.m. Friday at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, Trenton.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.

Zophie Domzalska

HAMILTON -- Zophie "Babci" Domzalska, 90, died Monday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Zielona, Poland, she lived in Trenton since 1960 before moving to Hamilton in 1983.
She was a trimmer for Stangel Pottery, Trenton and was a seamstress for Trenton Sportswear until retiring in 1970.
She was a member of St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church.
Daughter of the late Jan and Anna Witkowska Weslowski and wife of the late Stanislaw Domzalski, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Ann and John J. Mero Jr. of Hamilton, with whom she lived, and Zofia Graczyk of Poland; a grandchild, Erika A. Mero of Hamilton; four grandchildren in Poland; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, 872 Brunswick Ave.
Interment will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Carol Formidoni

QUITO, ECUADOR -- Carol Formidoni, 46, died Jan. 11 at home.
Born in Lawrence, N.J., she lived there 21 years before moving to Quito 20 years ago. She also lived in Chicago and Florida.
Ms. Formidoni attended Villa Victoria Academy, Ewing, graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1970 and from Marymount College of Virginia.
She owned and operated a travel agency in Quito.
Daughter of the late Bernard Formidoni, she is survived by her husband, Oswaldo Diaz; a daughter, Alexa; a son, David, all of Quito; her mother, Muriel Formidoni; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bernard and Judy A. Formidoni of Colorado.
Burial was Jan. 13 in Quito.
A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann's Church, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrence.
Raymond Griffis

HAMILTON -- Raymond Griffis Sr., 79, died Monday at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital, Trenton.
Born in Jamestown, N.Y., he lived in Hamilton since 1961.
He worked for Crist-Craft Industries, Trenton, 20 years until retiring in 1982.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a boxer.
He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church and Deborah Heart and Lung Center Foundation, Browns Mills.
Son of the late Michael and Margaret Ferrara Griffis, he is survived by his wife of 52 years, Frances L. Ortolano Griffis; two daughters, Patricia Cavallaro and her fiance Jerry Rigelon, and Mary Weisneck of Hamilton Square; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Raymond Jr. and Marie Griffis of Groveville and Frank Griffis of Hamilton Square; two brothers, Jimmy of Orlando, Fla. and Joe of San Jose, Calif.; four grandchildren, Raymond Griffis III, Lisa Griffis, Tiffany and Shana Weisneck; and a great-grandson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 6 to 9 this evening at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, with Christian Wake Service.

Charles Heatinger

TRENTON -- Charles Heatinger, 71, died Monday at St. Francis Medical Center here.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident.
He worked for Trenton Potteries and was a truck driver for Coca-Cola Foods Co., Hightstown.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and former member of Pennington Road Fire Co.
Son of the late Fred and Emma Sperling Heatinger and brother of the late Lorraine Efaw, he is survived by two sisters, Margaret Burroughs of Hamilton and Laura M. Weise of Hopewell; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the chapel at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are by Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, Lawrence.
Margaret Kovacs

TRENTON -- Margaret Paloczy Kovacs, 83, died Tuesday at Manor Care Health Services, Yardley, Pa.
Born in Hungary, she lived in Hamilton and in Trenton since 1955.
She was a member of Lorantffy Zsuzsanna Society of Hungarian Reformed Church.
Wife of the late Julius J. Kovacs, she is survived by a sister-in-law, Bertha Miller of Morrisville; a brother-in-law, William Adam of Lambertville; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hungarian Reformed Church of Trenton with the Rev. Laszlo Ujj, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Rogers Funeral Home, 929 S. Clinton Ave.

Thomas Lee Jr.

GILFORD, N.H. -- Thomas Garvey Lee Jr., 80, died Jan. 26 at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia.
Born in Atlantic City, N.J., he lived in Fairless Hills, Pa. before moving to Gilford.
He was vice president of Tony Lee and Associates, Trenton, more than 30 years.
He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Lakeport and active in the Boy Scouts in Pennsylvania.
Brother of the late Anna J. Lee, he is survived by his wife, Bertha H. Long Lee of Gilford; a son, Thomas G. Lee of Indianapolis; two daughters, Patricia DeYoung of Melrose, Mass. and Theresa A. Hopewell of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; two brothers, Anthony J. Lee of Mercerville, N.J. and Michael P. Lee of Hallstead, Pa.; a sister, Henrietta Dempsey of Egg Harbor, N.J. and nieces and nephews.
