Elizabeth Ann Miller

PRINCETON TOWNSHIP -- Elizabeth Ann Miller, 59, died Saturday at University Hospital, Cleveland.
Born in Allentown, Pa., she lived in Waltham, Mass., and Colorado before moving to Princeton in 1982.
She was an assistant women's editor and copy editor for the Evening Chronicle in Allentown, Pa., from 1969 and 1974. In 1971, she was named women's editor of the Waltham News-Tribune, and she was director of library services of The Morning Call from 1976 to 1979.
A member of Nassau Presbyterian Church, Princeton, she helped form the Cancer Support Group in 1995 and edited church publications and newsletters.
Daughter of the late John Weinsheimer, she is survived by her husband, Edward Miller; four daughters, Grace Mest Szepkouski and Julie Mest Shaw, both of Basking Ridge, Christina Miller Baserman of Seattle and Hillary Ann Miller of Washington, D.C.; her mother, Edith Hopkins Weinsheimer of Allentown, Pa.; a sister, Mary Hummel of Pottstown, Pa., and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Nassau Presbyterian Church, Princeton Borough.

Edward A. McQuoid
02/24/00 BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP -- Edward A. McQuoid, 81, died Wednesday at Capital Health System at Mercer hospital, Trenton.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a Bordentown Township resident for 15 years.
He retired from electronic manufacturing and sales work 25 years ago, and was a court representative for Superior Courts of New Jersey, Burlington County.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Mr. McQuoid was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Kingston, Pa.
Father of the late Edward A. McQuoid Jr., he is survived by his wife of 55 years, Roseann McCarthy McQuoid; a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Yuiko Nishitani McQuoid of San Francisco, a daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Jim Cann of Bordentown; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen McQuoid of Pittsburgh; a brother and sister-in-law, Bartholomew and Katherine McQuoid of Philadelphia; and four grandchildren, Laura and Erin Cann, and Kelly and Kevin McQuoid.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church, Bordentown Township, with the Rev. Michael Burns officiating.
Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown.

Viola L. McConnell

HAMILTON -- Viola L. McConnell, 76, died Tuesday at Mercerville Center-Genesis Elder Care.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident.
She worked for Carter Wallace Pharmaceutical Company, Cranbury, for more than 10 years.
She was a member of Grace St. Paul Episcopal Church, Hamilton.
Wife of the late Ronald J. McConnell, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald G. and Barbara A. McConnell of Hamilton; a daughter and son-in-law, Debra A. and Richard C. Sheaf of Hamilton; two sisters, Loretta Jones and Lorraine Frader, both of Hamilton; a brother, Robert Jones of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Dennis, Holly, Ronnie, and Sean; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

James Alvin Light

HURLEY, N.M. -- James Alvin Light, 43, died Monday at Gila Regional Medical Center.
Born in Hurley, he lived in New Jersey from 1986 to 1999 before returning to Hurley.
He was a police officer in Hurley before moving to Guam where he worked with the federal police until 1982. He formerly was operations/training cadre for the Army ROTC program and worked for the state Department of Corrections in Skillman, N.J., and Trenton, the Internal Affairs Unit/Special Investigation Division at Northern State Prison, Newark, N.J., and Southern State Correctional Facility. Mr. Light received numerous commendations throughout his career.
A Navy veteran, he enlisted in 1975 as a communications technician with the Naval Security Group.
Mr. Light graduated from Cobre High School, Hurley, and attended New Mexico State University.
Son of the late Alvin Light and Dorothy Tefertiller Light, he is survived by his wife, Robin Stewart Light; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Joshua and Stephanie Light of Germany, Shawn of Albuquerque, and Morgan of Seaville, N.J.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Fred Balke of Santa Clara, and Laura and Larry Filkins of Hurley; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Alanna Light of San Diego; a grandson, Conner Light; his mother-in-law, Eda Stewart of Monroe, N.J.; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Indian Hills Baptist Church, Hurley with David Prell, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ft. Bayard National Cemetery, Hurley.

Rosemary Johnson-Nimely

TRENTON -- Rosemary Johnson-Nimely, 46, died Sunday at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident.
A a certified nurse's aide and home health aide, she worked for SJ Nurses in Trenton.
She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Ms. Johnson-Nimely was educated in Trenton public schools.
Daughter of the late Louise Johnson and Daniel and Carrie Boone, and sister of the late Debra Boone, she is survived by two sons, Daniel Boone and Willie Hill, and two daughters, LaToya Johnson and Elaine Hill, all of Trenton; a sister, Shirley Austin of Maryland; six brothers, Alonzo Johnson, Wesley, Robert, Ronald, and Oliver Taylor, and Randy Boone, all of Trenton, and Paul Austin of Bristol, Pa.; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton.
Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing.
Calling hours will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel.

Carol Borawski

HAMILTON -- Carol Borawski, 70, died Monday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
She retired from the N.J. Department of Labor after 10 years and also worked for Dunham's Department Store and U.S. Steel Corp.
Daughter of the late Ella and Fred Evans, she is survived by her husband, Stanley Borawski; a daughter, Kathleen M. Borawski of Orlando, Fla.; a grandson, William Brandon Diaz of Orlando; and several cousins.
Funeral will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Wayne E. Bethea Sr.

TRENTON -- Wayne E. Bethea Sr., 45, died Monday at home.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
He was an expediter at C.V. Hill Refrigeration, Trenton until the company closed.
He was drill master, flag carrier and vice president of the Cavaliers Drill Team for many years. He was a member of New Holy Cross Church of Christ and its choirs. He was a former member of Tabernacle Church of God in Christ and sang with the Black Truth Band, Revelations, Soul Seekers, and Kool and the Gang.
Son of the late Robert L. Bethea Sr., he is survived by a son, Wayne E. Bethea Jr. of Ewing; a daughter, Sjonte Hudson of Philadelphia; his mother, Hannah Bethea of Trenton; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Marvis Jennett of Levittown, Pa., Gwendolyn Warren of Willingboro, and Roseanne and Michael Giles of Trenton; two brothers, Robert Jr. and Charles E., both of Trenton; a grandson; his grandmother, Fannie Carther of Philadelphia; other relatives and friends.
Funeral will be 7 p.m. Friday at New Holy Cross Church of Christ, 500 E. State St., Trenton, with Bishop Willie J. Jones officiating.
Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
