Albert Di Stasi

TRENTON -- Albert Di Stasi, 77, died Friday at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a longtime Trenton area resident.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as staff sergeant with the medical detachment of the 272nd Infantry Tank Destroyer Battalion during the battles of Ardennes, Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France and Rhineland. Mr. Di Stasi was awarded the Purple Heart for rendering medical care.
He was also an airman first class with the state Air National Guard 119th Tactical Fighter Squadron.
He worked many years for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
Mr. Di Stasi was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks, Freight Handlers Express and Station Employees Union, Onward Lodge 154 of Trenton.
Son of the late John and Italia Filaponi Di Stasi and brother of the late Clara Capone, Frank, Michael, and Carmella Di Stasi, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Arthur J. and Ida T. of Glen Mills, Pa.; a niece, Linda G. Schweighardt; a nephew, Robert J. Di Stasi; a grandniece, Stephanie Di Stasi; and a grandnephew, Jeffrey Di Stasi.
Funeral will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from Winowicz Funeral Home, Adeline and Beatty Streets, Trenton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Ave., Trenton, with the Rev. Anthony Kall officiating.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 8:45 a.m. Wednesday until service at the funeral home.
Doris Friedman Lubitz

SUNNY ISLES BEACH, Fla. -- Doris Friedman Lubitz, 81, died Sunday at The Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in New York City, she lived in Trenton before moving to Florida 25 years ago.
She owned a produce company for 50 years in Trenton.
Wife of the late Louis J. Lubitz, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Pamela Lubitz of West Windsor, N.J., and Philip Lubitz and Barbara Schlichting of Stockton, N.J.; a daughter, Susan Lubitz of Canton, Mass.; two brothers, Herman and Stanley Friedman of Ewing, N.J.; six grandchildren, Cynthia Milburn, Meredith, Steven and Su-Fen Lubitz, David and Rachael Slawsby; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral and burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Pitman Avenue, Hamilton, N.J.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are by Orland's Ewing Memorial Chapel, Trenton.
Walter O. Hoffman Sr.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- Walter O. Hoffman Sr., 89, died Feb. 18 at St. Benedict's.
Born in Oldbridge, N.J., he lived in St. Cloud, Gradyville and Pennington, N.J.
Mr. Hoffman retired in 1972 after 38 years as a chemical engineer with ARCO. He previously worked at Philadelphia Refinery.
He was a member of Tau Beta Pi, Nature Conservancy, the AIER, ANA, SAN, and the ARCO Philadelphia Suburban Retirees Club.
He was a volunteer with Gradyville Fire Co. and was on the school board of the former Gradyville School. He was director for the Central Delaware County Joint School System.
He received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Drexel University and graduated from Hopewell High School, N.J.
Husband of the late Helen J. Heiland Hoffmann and grandfather of the late Drew Roser, he is survived by a son, Walter O. Jr. of Northville, Mich.; a daughter, Victoria E. Roser of St. Cloud; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. March 6 at Frank C. Videon Funeral Home, Sproul and Lawrence Roads, Broomall, Pa.
Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park, Concordville, Pa.
Calling hours will be 9:30 a.m. March 6 until service at the funeral home.

John J. Brozda

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP -- John J. Brozda, 83, died Friday at Community Medical Center, Toms River.
Born in Reynoldsville, Pa., he lived in Trenton before moving to Whiting seven years ago.
He retired as a maintenance worker with The Trentonian in 1979.
Mr. Brozda was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by a sister, Frances Brozda, and a sister-in-law, Jean Brozda, both of Whiting; and nieces and nephews.
Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Hamilton.
Arrangements are by Anderson and Campbell Funeral Homes, Whiting.
Grace Crowe Bobo

MOUNT HOLLY -- Grace Pilkington Crowe Bobo, 87, died Sunday at Virtua Health-Memorial Hospital of Burlington County, Mount Holly.
Born in Memphis, Tenn., she grew up in St. Louis, Mo., before moving to Mount Holly.
She retired as a teacher at Rancocas Valley Regional High School, Mount Holly, and previously taught in Virginia and Alabama.
A member of the Burlington County Art Guild and Hanging Together, Mrs. Bobo was a painter and printmaker who exhibited her artwork throughout the state.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Mount Holly.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Henry Benson Bobo; a son, William Crowe Bobo of Hinsdale, Ill.; two daughters, Susan D'arcy of Cleveland, and Anne McFerran Bobo of East Windsor; two sisters, Catherine Crowe Jones and Marjorie Crowe Whitner; a brother, John Crowe; and five grandchildren, Douglass and Catherine Sillars, Adrian Arroyo, and Scott and Christopher Bobo.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church.
Burial will be in Mount Holly Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 10 a.m. Wednesday until service at the church.

Richard Yurcisin

FLORENCE TOWNSHIP -- Richard Yurcisin, 59, died Saturday at home.
Born in Roebling, he was a lifelong area resident.
He retired after 19 years as Florence Township's police chief. He served on the police force for 34 years.
Mr. Yurcisin was an Air Force veteran.
He was a past president of the Burlington County Association of Chiefs of Police. A member of the Greek Catholic Union of the U.S.A. and St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Mr. Yurcisin was an avid gardener and clammer.
Son of the late Nicholas and Anna Motyka Yurcisin and brother of the late Basil, Edward, and George Yurcisin, he is survived by three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary Yurcisin of Roebling, Ann and Harry Koehnlein of Newtown, Pa., and Evelyn and Dr. Robert Houston of Columbus, Ohio; six brothers and three sisters-in-law, the Rev. John and Ann Yurcisin of Johnstown, Pa., Joseph and Norma Yurcisin of Somerset, Dr. Daniel and Lynne Yurcisin of Bardonia, N.Y., Peter Yurcisin of Alexandria, Va., and Nicholas and Michael Yurcision of Roebling; three sisters-in-law, Mary, Nelia and Patricia Yurcisin; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 191 Norman Ave., Roebling.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday until church departure at Koschek & Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling.

Bennie J. Witkosky

YARDLEY, Pa. -- Bennie J. `Ben' Witkosky, 71, died Monday at Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol Township.
Born in Plymouth, he was a Lower Bucks County area resident for 43 years.
He retired after 40 years as owner of Ben's Deli in Morrisville.
He graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy.
Mr. Witkosky was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Koval Witkosky; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Bernard J. and Masumi of Tokyo, Japan, Anthony of Morrisville and Martin P. of Yardley; a daughter, Louise E. Salinas of Levittown; four sisters, Lucille Teno of Enfield, N.H., Florence and Anna Witkosky and Rita Chervy, all of Plymouth; a brother, Edmund, of Ashley; three grandchildren, Angela, Rafael, and Daniel Salinas; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 West Trenton Ave., Morrisville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Reading Avenue, Yardley.
Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lower Makefield Township.
