Louis F. Kraeuter

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP -- Louis F. Kraeuter, 88, died Tuesday at Rolling Hills of Hunterdon Care Center, Clinton Township.
Born in Irvington, he lived in Clinton for 26 years before moving to Franklin 21 years ago.
Before retiring, he was a self-employed carpenter and stone mason. He also worked at Mount Kipp Sanatorium, now Hagedorn Geriatric Center, Glen Gardner and Hunterdon State School, Clinton, after retiring.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving from 1944 to 1946.
Son of the late Louis M. and Caroline Port Kraeuter and brother of the late Richard and Norman, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Rapp Kraeuter; a son, Frederick L. of Bernardsville; a daughter, Sharon Apgar of Syracuse, N.Y.; a brother, Arthur A. of Bethlehem, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be private.

Eva Mae Folks
03/01/00
TRENTON -- Eva Mae "Avon Lady" Folks, 92, died Sunday at Water's Edge Nursing and Convalescent Center.
Born in Augusta, Ga., she lived in New York before moving to Trenton in 1942.
She worked with the Trenton Board of Education and was a local Avon representative.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church 57 years, serving on its senior usher board, White Rose Gospel Group and gospel chorus. She was also a deaconess aide and worked closely with the youth groups.
Daughter of the late Shed and Lielia Lyons, and wife of the late Leon Folks, she is survived by a son, Capes R. of Trenton; a daughter, Dorothy M. Folks-Wiggins of Trenton; four sisters-in-law, Florence and Lucy Folks and Addie Williams, all of Trenton, and Ethel Pannell of Egg Harbor; eight grandchildren, Alonzo C., Derrick B., Christopher D., Errick S. and Brian Wiggins, Steven C. Cooke and Tara and Monica Folks; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild, and other relatives.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Union Baptist Church, 301 Pennington Ave., with the Rev. Simeon D. Spencer, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until service Friday at the church.
Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel.

Gertrude Fleischner

FORT LEE -- Gertrude Vogelhut Fleischner, 90, died Tuesday at home.
Born in Vienna, Austria, she lived in New York City before moving to Fort Lee 10 years ago.
She was a member of B'nai B'rith.
Wife of the late Hugo Fleischner, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ilse and Paul Lazovick of Lawrence; three grandchildren, Lorie Bond, and Richard and Cindy Lazovick; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Orland's Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing, with the Rabbi Howard Hersch of Congregation Brothers of Israel officiating.
Burial will be at Beth Israel Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
Calling hours will be private.

Eugene A. Elgrim Sr.

ALLENTOWN BOROUGH, N.J. -- Eugene A. Elgrim Sr., 69, died Monday at home.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Yardville before moving to Allentown 43 years ago.
He was a retired truck driver with Gulf Oil.
Mr. Elgrim was a member of Allentown United Methodist Church and Allentown Lions Club.
Son of the late William T. and Helen Hart Elgrim and brother of the late William and Raymond, he is survived by his wife, Norma M. Elgrim; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and John Kamer Sr. of Windsor and Terri and Fred Baldwin of Allentown; a son, Eugene Jr. of East Windsor; three sisters, Dorothy Moore of West Trenton, Eileen Prine of Prattville, Ala., and Alice DeFelice of LeRoy, N.Y.; two brothers, Francis of Tamarac, Fla., and Kenneth of Allentown; a sister-in-law, Patricia Steward of Washington Crossing, Pa.; five grandchildren, John Jr. and Michael Kamer, Norma Stillwell and Erica and Amanda Elgrim; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday from Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., with the Rev. Merton A. Steelman, pastor of Allentown United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Lions Club will hold a service 8 p.m. Friday.

Mildred F. Dillon

BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP -- Mildred F. Dillon, 91, died Monday at home.
Born in Bridgeboro, she was a longtime Burlington resident.
She previously worked with the Burlington Township Election Board.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and helped with its kindergarten for more than 60 years.
She was active with the PTAs of Burlington City and Burlington Township schools.
Wife of the late Leslie O. Dillon, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Leslie and Audrey Dillon of Florence, and James and Judy Dillon of Burlington Township; a daughter, Margaret Dillon of Edgewater Park; a sister, Beatrice Stayton of Lumberton; five grandchildren, Thomas, Steven and Timothy Dillon, Janice Yost and Diane Solan; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McGee Funeral Home, 869 Beverly Road.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Elsie J. Corrado

HAMILTON -- Elsie J. Corrado, 80, died Tuesday at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown, Pa.
Born in Trenton, she lived in Hamilton for 48 years.
She was a former president of the Hungarian Seniors and former secretary and treasurer of the Ladies Aide Society of the Hungarian Reformed Church. She founded both the Princeton Swingers Seniors of the Princeton Country Club and Starlite Seniors, for which she served as president for many years. Mrs. Corrado was a former member of Hopewell Country Club and an avid golfer.
Daughter of the late Jon and Bertha Sabo, wife of the late Girard "Jerry" Corrado, and sister of the late Elizabeth Nagy, Wilma Haller, Salli Fischer and Pearl Barber, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Trenton.
Calling hours will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Robert E. Anderson Jr.

YARDLEY, Pa. -- Robert E. Anderson Jr., 74, died Monday.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Morrisville and Lower Makefield before moving to Yardley.
He was president of Robertson Manufacturing Co., Morrisville. After retiring, he was a management consultant.
Mr. Anderson was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and the Korean War, serving as a captain.
He was a 1949 graduate of the University of Miami.
Son of the late Robert E. and Miriam Watson Anderson and husband of the late Ann Jacobs Anderson, he is survived by two sons, Scott L. of Herndon, Va., and Paul L. of Hillsborough; two daughters, Allyn Barth of Lower Makefield and Dana Badanovic of Carversville; a brother, C. Richard of Yardley; and six grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hutchinson Memorial Chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville, with the Rev. Richard S. Kauffman, pastor, officiating.
