Robert Szymanski

TRENTON -- Robert Szymanski, 80, died Tuesday at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident.
He retired in 1975 after 30 years with Crescent Wire Co. and TRW Co., Trenton.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Szymanski was active in Golden Gloves Boxing and was an avid weight lifter. He served as a judge in the AAU International Weightlifting and Mr. America competitions. He was a member of Trenton Polish-American Democratic Club of North Trenton and American Legion Post 458, Hamilton.
Son of the late Stanley and Rose Szymanski, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley M. Stern Szymanski of Trenton; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kathleen Szymanski of Hamilton; a daughter, Jeanette Clegg of Trenton; three grandchildren, Christopher and Tara Szymanski, and Jeffrey Clegg; nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 9 a.m. Friday at Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave., Trenton. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Hedwig's Church, Trenton.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Garden of the Crucifixion, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral chapel.
American Legion services will be 8 p.m.
Mabel K. Stretch

MOORESTOWN -- Mabel K. Stretch, 89, died Tuesday at the Evergreens.
Born in Cicero, N.Y., she was a longtime Trenton resident before moving to the Evergreens six years ago.
She was a nurse at Mercer Hospital, and an owner and operator of Airtex Products, Fallsington, Pa.
She was member of St. Paul's Methodist Church, Trenton, and the New Jersey Conference of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist Church where she was 4th District president.
Wife of the late Albert Stretch, she is survived by a son, Donald L. of Yardley, Pa.; a daughter, Dorothy S. Fick of Westampton, Pa.; six grandchildren, Cheryl Kraus, Audrey Reyes, Catherine Travis, Tara Ordini, and Kelly and Dodd Stretch; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be noon Saturday at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly.
Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

HAMILTON -- Alla Ivanov Serpikov, 70, died Wednesday at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
Born in Russia, she was a Hamilton area resident since 1950.
She worked at Lord & Taylor at Quaker Bridge Mall, Lawrence.
Daughter of the late Nikolai and Evdokia Larionov Ivanov, she is survived by her husband, George Serpikov Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law, George Jr. and Constance Serpikov of Westwood; two daughters and sons-in-law, Serafina and Victor Shevtchuk and Svetlana and Nikolaos Kostalas, all of Mercerville; a brother-in-law and his wife, Basily and Dorcas Serpikov of Hamilton; two grandchildren, George A. and Alexandra Serpikov; and two nieces, Anastasia Jacobs and Tatiana Fitzpatrick.
Funeral will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Vladimir's Memorial Church, Perrineville Road, Jackson, with the Rev. Boris Kizenko officiating.
Burial will be in St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Cassville Road, Jackson.
Panachida service will be 7 p.m. Friday at the church.

Rhoda Robinson Edens

TRENTON -- Rhoda "Rho" Robinson Edens, 42, died Saturday at home.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident.
She worked at First Union Bank, Ewing.
She was a former member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church.
Mrs. Edens attended Trenton schools.
Daughter of the late Troy and Gloria Robinson and sister of the late Adriene Robinson, she is survived by her husband, James Edens; two sons, James Jr. and Anthony Edens; a stepson, Korey Brown; three sisters, Joyce, Lydia and Laura Robinson, all of Trenton; two brothers, Anthony and Rodney; her mother-in-law, Catherine Ferguson; two stepgrandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Holy Cross Church of Christ Written in Heaven, 500 E. State St., Trenton, with the Elder Jerry Foreman of Morningstar Church of God in Christ officiating.
Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the church.

BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP -- Sally Anne Cranmer, 88, died Tuesday at the Masonic Home.
Born in Camden, she moved to the home four years ago.
She worked for Curtis Publishing Co. for several years and Strawbridge and Clothier of Cherry Hill for 17 years.
She was a troop leader for East Windsor Girl Scout Troop 30 more than 10 years and Troop 177 of Merchantville. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Merchantville.
Wife of the late Dr. Richard S. Cranmer, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy H. and Valerie Cranmer of Lugoff, S.C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah-Ley and Harry Orion III of Southampton; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington Township.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Stafford.

ANA RAMOS, AGE 77, NEW BRUNSWICK

Ana Ramos, 77, of New Brunswick died Thursday at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick.
A native of Caguas, Puerto Rico, she moved to New Brunswick in 1966. She was a lady who loved to cook and sew for her large family. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, New Brunswick.
Surviving are her daughter, Carmen Ortiz of New Brunswick; two sons, Augustine and Rosendo Hernandez, both of New Brunswick; her sister, Marina Arroyo of Hoboken, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, also in New Brunwick. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call from 2-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
ANNE DIKEN, AGE 79, CARTERET

Anne Karoly Diken, 79, of Carteret died Thursday at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division.
A native of Pittston, Pa., she lived in Carteret during the past 38 years. She was a parishioner of St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Church, Carteret, and a member of the Mother's Club of the church.
She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Nosal. She is survived by her husband, John M. Diken; two sons, Daniel Diken of Carteret, and Dennis Diken and his wife Donna of Wood-Ridge; a brother, Charles Karoly of Rochelle Park; two grandchildren, Rebekah and Rachel, and two great-grandchildren, Selena and Cassandra.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Ave., Carteret, followed by a 9 a.m. Divine Liturgy at St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Church, also in Carteret. Burial will be held at St. Michael's Cemetery in South Hackensack. Visiting hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Parastas will be held at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Elias Bell Tower Fund.
