BARBARA REIS, AGE 54, KENDALL PARK

Barbara A. Reis, 54, died Thursday at her home.
She was born in Newark and raised in Edison. She moved to Kendall Park in 1971. She was a research grants & contracts administrator at Rutgers University in Piscataway for 17 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and loved to travel.
Surviving are her husband, Raymond C. Reis; her father, Stanley Palkiewicz of Edison; her son and daughter-in-law, David J. and Kim Reis of San Francisco; her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Bernadette Palkiewicz of South Brunswick Township, and two grandchildren, Charlie and Katie.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, Henderson Road, Kendall Park. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, East Brunswick. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. tomorrow at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Barbara Reis Memorial Fund, c/o Christ the King Lutheran Church, 3330 Route 27, Kendall Park, NJ 08824.
EDMUND JARUSIEWICZ, AGE 73, SAYREVILLE

Edmund Jarusiewicz, 73, died Thursday at his home.
Born in South Amboy, he was a lifelong resident of Sayreville. Before his retirement in 1987, he was employed as a millwright at Peter J. Switzer Company in Spotswood for 46 years. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4699 and a communicant of St. Stanislaus R.C. Church, both in Sayreville.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Walter, Chester and Edward Jarusiewicz, and a sister, Pauline Tabaszewski.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, the former Anna Gilewski; his daughter, Judith Smith of Sayreville; three sons, Edmund, Michael and Mark, all of Sayreville; six grandchildren, John, Jena, Jamie, Holly, Michael and Danny; a brother, Frank Jarusiewicz of South River, and two sisters, Jean Krzyzkowski and Irene Zakrzewski, both of South Amboy.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main St., Sayreville, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Stanislaus R.C. Church, also in Sayreville. Private cremation will follow. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Members of Sayreville VFW Post 4699 will stand honor guard tomorrow from 7 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and then hold military services at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
THOMAS MINUCCI, AGE 88, AVENEL

Thomas Minucci, 88, of Avenel died yesterday at Amboy Care Center in Perth Amboy.
Born in Port Reading, he had lived in Avenel for most of his life. He was employed as a laborer for Carborundum Corp. in Keasbey for 40 years before retiring in 1982. He also owned and operated Mary's Hilltop Luncheonette on St. George Avenue in Avenel for many years, along with his wife, Mary, who died in 1987.
He is survived by a brother, Jim Minucci of Perth Amboy, and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Green Street & Barron Ave. in Woodbridge, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery in Woodbridge. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
JOHN BUDNIAK JR., AGE 58, OLD BRIDGE

John Budniak Jr., 58, of Old Bridge died Wednesday at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division.
A native of Perth Amboy, he was born March 4, 1942 in the city, and moved to Old Bridge nine years ago. A 1961 graduate of Edison High School, he attended Middlesex County College, and was a former statistician at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison. He loved to travel, and also loved sports.
His father, John Budniak Sr., died in 1998. He is survived by his wife, the former Carol Heiselberg; his mother, Rose Budniak of Edison; his sister, Marcella Gratson of Northridge, Calif., and brother-in-law, George; two daughters, Cathy Radcliffe of Queens, N.Y., and Wendy Rooks of Delaware Water Gap; two grandchildren, Michael and Michele Weckesser; three nephews, David, Daniel and Darren Gratson; a niece, Darria Gratson and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Divine Liturgy at Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption, Perth Amboy. Burial will be at Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery, Hopelawn. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Parastas will be held at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Flynn & Son Charities.
ELIZABETH GOLETZ, AGE 92, MONROE

Elizabeth Fischler Goletz, 92, of Monroe Township died yesterday at her home.
A native of Yugoslavia, she had lived in the Jamesburg-Monroe Township area for the past 70 years. She retired in 1976 from Buxton's Country Shop in Monroe where she was employed as a commissary worker. Previously, she was employed by Carter-Wallace Corp. in Cranbury.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles. Surviving are her daughter, Dorothy Holtz of Monroe Township; three sons, Thomas and William, both of Monroe Township, and Charles of Spotswood, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Helmetta. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Monroe Township. Visiting hours for family and friends will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
JOSEPH SHAFER, AGE 19, NORTH BRUNSWICK

Joseph P. Shafer, 19, of North Brunswick died Thursday.
He previously attended St. Joseph's High School in Metuchen and worked as a driver and truck mechanic in his stepfather's business, Morris Landscaping. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church in Milltown.
He was predeceased by his father, Michael.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Alice (Kwietniak) Morris and Arthur Morris of North Brunswick; his maternal grandparents, Peter and Jean Kwietniak of Edison; two brothers, Brian Shafer, at home, and Michael and his wife Angela Shafer of East Brunswick; a stepbrother, Arthur Jr. and his wife, Jennifer Morris, of South River; his aunts and uncles, Thomas and Mary Kwietniak of Milltown, Peter Kwietniak of Edison, Helen and Gene Kochevar of Milltown and Deborah Shafer of Piscataway, and many cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church in Milltown. Burial will be at Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow at Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home, 152 North Main St., Milltown.
EVA WILCOX, AGE 86, MONROE

Eva R. Wilcox, 86, of Monroe Township died Thursday at the Merwick Unit of The Medical Center at Princeton.
She was the wife of the late Henry Geisler and John C. Wilcox Sr., and the stepmother of Mary Jane Hamlin and John C. Wilcox Jr.
