STEPHEN BONK, AGE 87, MENLO PARK

Stephen E. Bonk, 87, died yesterday at his home in Edison.
Born in Perth Amboy, he had resided in Menlo Park since 1955. A graduate of Perth Amboy High School and Rutgers University, he worked for American Cyanamid (now Cytec) for 44 years as an accountant before retiring in 1979. He was a communicant of St. Helena's R.C. Church, Edison, where he belonged to the Holy Name Society, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Cecelia's Council 3639, in Iselin. He was a World War II veteran, having earned four battle stars while serving with Gen. George S. Patton's Third Army in Europe. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Fords, the Disabled American Veterans and the Catholic War Veterans.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Laura, and six brothers, John, Anton, Julius, Joseph, Michael and Edward Bonk.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Eleanor; two sons, Stephen of Manalapan, and Anthony and his wife Janet of Edison; three daughters, Maryann Seybuck and her husband Joseph of Edison, Jean Soccodato and her husband Enrico of Freehold, and Rita Feliks and her husband Richard of Edison; six grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, Jeffrey, Stephen, Amy and Melissa, and a brother, Frank Bonk.
Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Monday at Zylka Funeral Home, 513-515 State St., Perth Amboy, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Helena's R.C. Church, Edison. Burial will be at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, 65 James St., Edison, NJ 08818-3059.
ROGER NAVARRA, AGE 56, BROOKLYN

Roger Paul Navarra, 56, of Brooklyn, N.Y., died Thursday at Long Island University Medical Center on Long Island.
He was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn. He was a self-employed truck driver, delivering Bon-Ton Potato Chips throughout Brooklyn for many years.
Surviving are his son, Roger P. Navarra of Brooklyn; his daughter, Doreen Navarra of Hazlet; his sister, Jane Martucci of Freehold, and one granddaughter.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Pettit-Davis Funeral Home, 371 West Milton Ave., Rahway, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, also in Rahway. Burial will be held at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Visiting will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
FRED GREENWALD, AGE 74, OLD BRIDGE

Fred T. Greenwald, 74, of Cedar Glen West died Wednesday at Community Medical Center, Toms River.
He had resided in Old Bridge and Rio Grande, N.J. before moving to Manchester Township earlier this year.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, the former Joyce MacNair; six children, Walter E. Greenwald, Marion K. Barnett, Scott T. Greenwald, Nancy M. Hasty, Jane E. Hassinger and Alyson J. Woll, and nine grandchildren, Richard, Christopher, Jennifer, Keith, Eric, Tanya, Andrew, Nickolas and Lauren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Lakehurst. Viewing will be from noon to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
HELEN WUNNENBERG, AGE 91, CRANBURY

Helen E. Pillar Wunnenberg, 91, died Thursday at Princeton Nursing Home.
Born in Bayonne, she had resided in Toms River for many years before moving to Cranbury five years ago. She and her husband, Arthur, owned and operated Artie's Market in Forked River for many years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was the wife of the late Arthur L. Wunnenberg, and was also predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Micklewright. She is survived by a daughter, Ardith Livi of Cranbury; two grandchildren, Denise L. Reilley of Cranbury and Devin J. Livi of Ewing; two great-grandchildren, Bryce D. Livi and Sean W. Reilley, and one nephew, Wesley Stillwaggon of Willingboro.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main St., Cranbury. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

Raymond Salgado, 91, of Sayreville died Thursday at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division.
Born in Puerto Rico, he had resided in New York City before moving to Sayreville in 1963. Before his retirement in 1974, he was employed as a supervisor in the baking department of Sunshine Biscuit Company, Sayreville, where he had worked for 45 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church in Sayreville.
Surviving are his wife of 70 years, the former Juanita Rojas; two daughters, Carmen Gamjian of Rochelle Park, N.Y., and Rosalyn Guzman of Parlin; four grandchildren, Jo Ann, Susan, Roxanne and Henry, and four great-grandchildren, Jessica, Frankie, Gregory and Jennifer.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church in Sayreville. JAMES BURKE, AGE 79, EDISON

James G. Burke, 79, a retired Edison fire captain, of Largo, Fla., died Thursday at Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park, Fla.
Born in Crystal, Ky., he lived in Edison before moving to Florida. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Post 0273 in Madeira Beach, Fla., AARP Chapter 936, also in Florida, the NJ Exempt Fireman's Association and the United Firefighter's Association.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elsie Burke; a daughter, Sharon Burke of Largo; three brothers, Harry Burke of Jacksonville, Fla., Clyde Burke of Hazel Park, Mich., and Patton Burke of Rapid City, S.Dak., and two sisters, Leatrice Alexander of Speedwell, Tenn., and Ruby Nicholson of Dundee, Mich.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Moss-Feaster Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo. Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo.
OLGA ZALICK, AGE 82, PERTH AMBOY

Olga Zalick, 82, died Wednesday at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division.
She was born in Perth Amboy and lived there all her life. She had worked for New York Girls Coat in Perth Amboy as a seamstress for 21 years, retiring when the plant closed. She was a communicant of St. Spiridon's Russian Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy and was a member of the church choir.
She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore, and three brothers, Anton, John and Walter Trachuk.
Surviving are two sons, Robert of Perth Amboy and Theodore of Miramar, Fla.; two sisters, Luba Trachuk of Perth Amboy and Helen Trygar of Fords and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Zylka Funeral Home, 513-515 State St., Perth Amboy, followed by a 10 a.m. Liturgy at St. Spiridon's Russian Orthodox Church, also in Perth Amboy. Burial will be at the church cemetery in Fords. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Panihida services will be held at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
